Floops is a series of VRML-powered webtoons from the late 90's. It focuses on the misadventures of the titular Floops, a "part worm, part human and part frog" whose favorite food is mealworms. Later episodes introduced interactivity, which equated to clicking on individual items to get an outcome.
Tropes:
- Medium Awareness: Floops often makes statements about him being in a webtoon. In one episode, he talks about how he's become "interactive", and tells the viewer to click on the dish, from which fishes come out.
- Minimalist Cast: In many of the episodes, Floops is the only character who makes an appearance. At most, there is another minor on/off-screen character or two, but that's it.
- Protagonist Title: The series is named after Floops, who happens to be the main character.
- Tempting Fate: In one episode, Floops finds himself in the mouth of a giant fish, which he promptly tells the viewer not to click. Since that fish is clickable, he can end up eaten alive anyway.
