ETU - Animated Stories is an American YouTube story time channel. True to it's tagline, the channel tells outlandish stories. Some of the themes in the videos are love, family and school.

There is another channel called Sharing My Secret - Anonymous Story Animated that shares the same art style and tells female-oriented stories.

ETU provides examples of:

  • Abusive Parents: Many stories feature neglectful or downright emotionally abusive parents. Some of them are very petty.
    • Milton's adoptive parents gave him a poor education and actively sabotage his efforts to be successful just because he wasn't born a girl. Although later in turned out they weren't his real parents.
    • One story had the protagonist being locked away for years by her mother because she was "too pretty". Though the mother's boyfriend broke her out and escaped with her.
  • Academic Alpha Bitch: Bree has the highest grade in her class. She bullied Jacob for his low grades. After she tried to destroy his reputation, Bree was not asked by anyone to the prom, so she was forced to take along Jacob. But when Jacob took a babysitting job with a teenager daughter and a younger son, it’s revealed that Bree is the teenager, and she broke up with him.
  • Art Evolution: The animation of the channel's older videos was very cartoonish, before evolving into their Animesque style.
  • Animesque: The channel's later videos have anime-inspired art and even have anime expressions.
  • Big Brother Bully:
    • Well they are sisters but Milton's are just as bad as their parents. Except for Tina who underwent a Heel–Face Turn and got on his side, at least until she betrayed him again along with her other sisters.
    • Sam's adoptive brother mocked him for being adopted.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: One story has Sarah be attracted to her half-brother Scott, much to his discomfort. She was jealous of his girlfriend Eliza and tried to get them to break up. She even kissed Scott while he was blindfolded, pretending to be Eliza, but Eliza posted a video of her doing so and she was kicked out of the house by her parents.
  • Broken Pedestal: Jonathan wanting to be an archeologist like his great grandfather, found out that he stole various treasures for himself. He found the stolen artifacts and donated some of them to museums.
  • The Bully: Emily was tormented by Brutus. She got revenge on him by tricking him into marrying her. At the wedding, she exposed Brutus and dumped him at the altar.
  • Butt-Monkey: Poor Milton. Raised to be a girl by his step father, having his step family be reliant on him for money. He was betrayed by multiple people including his business partner James and his election partner Beth. He encountered many problems during his election campaign, such as being locked up so he can't do any campaigning. His step sister Penny forced him to either kiss her or die. It's a miracle that he doesn't have any trust issues from all that.
  • Cliffhanger: Many stories have multiple parts. Unfortunately some have yet to be continued.
  • Demonic Possession: One story has Anya, who is implied to be possessed by a demon.
  • Disappeared Dad: Angelina's father left her and her mother for another woman. She later came to work at his company to get revenge on him.

She tried to lose weight but her trainer mocked her as well and Gary's comments didn't help. She eventually broke up with Gary and reported the trainer. She got a new one who helped her lose weight and Lily eventually became a trainer herself.
  • Gold Digger: Very common. It mostly doesn't end well for them.
    • When Milton's dad's business failed, the family is forced to rely on their son, whom they didn't treat very well especially his sisters and mother. Although Tina eventually got a job.
    • Irvin's wife Lexi spends his money shopping and partying. After she humiliated him, he decides to make her tattooist write "Gold Digger" on her back.
    • Laurie's boyfriend decides to marry her bridesmaid, Amy, after he found out that she is rich. She rejects him.
    • Damon's stepmom and stepbrother had dumped him in an uncharted island just so that they can inherit his rich dad's money.
  • Jerkass: The villains of the stories are always insufferable to an extreme degree.

  • Old Man Marrying a Child: Subverted in a now deleted video has a girl who was sold by her parents to an old man for money. He failed to marry her and she managed to get away.
