Christian Brutal Sniper is a series of GMod machinima videos made by KelThuzadMadness. They follow the adventures of the eponymous RED Sniper as he joyously kills members of BLU and RED alike, in an almost nonchalant manner. Though, there's a backstory to this, and it's very, very dark.

- Bloody Hilarious
- Body Horror: The many ways CBS treats and kills his victims often result in this. For one, he shoved an aluminum bat up the Demoman's leg.
- Butt-Monkey: The RED Spy, who always shows up at an inopportune time and gets blood on his suit due to CBS's antics. By the time of Often, he has gotten so used to it that he responds with a mildly annoyed "This is getting awkward!" rather than his usual undisguised horror. In this fanmade video, the RED Spy ends up becoming CBS's reluctant sidekick dragged into the fight against Spyper and, even when Spyper kills CBS, he still gets blood on his suit, much to his irritation.

- Darker and Edgier: Origins.
- Disproportionate Retribution What Revenge would be, if CBS didn't usually kill people just for fun anyway.
- Dissonant Serenity
- Driven to Madness: Origins implies that being left for dead by the BLU team and then set up for betrayal by the BLU Spy destroyed CBS's sanity.
- Eldritch Abomination: It's unclear if CBS is one of these, but he's fought two of the most famous abominations of the Team Fortress 2 fandom, Painis Cupcake and the Vagineer.
- He can nonchalantly and bare-handedly tear Snyphurr in half, resulting in a Rain of Blood. That's what we call a Humanoid Abomination.
- Again also has him turn his head 180 degrees before beheading the Engineer with the Heavy's spinal column.

- Eye Scream: The Demoman gets a kukri shoved into his good eye, then set on fire. Oww.
- Face Palm: At the end of Often, the RED Spy facepalms in response to CBS not caring about his carnage.
- Forced Meme
- Glass Cannon: As powerful as he is, he's still a Sniper, and thus can't take many hits. Painis Cupcake uses this to his advantage in Painis Cupcake's Revenge.
- Gorn: CBS's handiwork on his victims can be quite bloody, usually involving cutting him up and pulling out an organ.
- Hyperspace Arsenal: The vast majority of which are melee weapons
- He's Back!: Didn't get killed by Vagineer after all, then showed up at the creator's doorstep in an unusually awesome fashion.
- Improbable Weapon User: He cuts off the Engineer's head by using THE HEAVY'S SPINE!
- Leitmotif: Though the creator uses several songs in his videos for whenever CBS shows up, The Millionare's Holiday by Combustible Edison seems to be the one that most fans associate with him.
- Left the Background Music On: CBS is probably the only Freak that requires a radio for his theme song.
- Made of Plasticine: The reason he can cut people in half when he falls on them.
- Morality Pet: The RED spy, who CBS never kills.
- He also seems to be his partner-in-crime, according to Fortress Dogs and Origins.
- Nightmare Face
- Nonindicative Name: The "Christian" aspect of his character is purely there for the Running Gag in the comments, and has never been brought up in the videos themselves (aside from the occasional "It's like Christmas morning!" he utters during his rampages, if we want to stretch it).
- For that matter, even though he's based on the Sniper, he doesn't actually do much sniping. He prefers to get up close and personal with his melee weapons.
- Off with His Head!: How he usually kills people.
- Pet the Dog: If his interactions with GentleSpy are of any indication, he actually can be a nice guy to anyone who helps him out and is polite about it. GentleSpy even complained about him getting blood on his suit, which the normal RED Spy never has the gall to do, and CBS actually apologized to him and gave him a kunai to compensate.

Another user made a video of CBS getting killed by Vagineer instead. Revenge revealed that this was just that, a video, on whose creator Christian Brutal Sniper quickly took revenge. - Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Most of Origins consisted of one.
- Running Gag: Several.
- Whenever he does his characteristic drop in, he always cuts someone in half, followed by "Critical Hit" appearing.
- The R.E.D. Spy de-cloaking at the end, usually commenting on the situation CBS has put him in.
- CBS throwing whatever he's holding, followed by the death cry of an off-screen Scout.
- In the comments and the description: Some form of Why is he Christian?! or otherwise.
- Slasher Smile: Subverted in that he seems genuinely ecstatic with what he does after showing his deformed smile.
- Sociopathic Hero: The eponymous character shows some signs of this. When he isn't killing people just for fun of it.
- Start of Darkness: Origins.
- Team Killer: Kills BLU and RED team members indiscriminately. The RED Spy as well if his role in Fortress Dogs (where he sets the RED Demoman on fire) is any indication.
- That Poor Scout: His weapons tend to hit a random scout whenever they are thrown off screen(which is often by the way).
- This Is Gonna Suck: Seconds before he dies, the Engineer notes to the Scout: "Start praying, boy."
