Brotherhood Workshop is a creative team specializing in LEGO stop-motion animation. Their shorts frequently parody scenes from The Lord of the Rings, the Star Wars films and many others, and boast both sharp picture quality and smooth animation. Their shorts can be seen on their YouTube channel HERE.

Brotherhood Workshop provides examples of:

  • Always Chaotic Evil: Subverted. Those who are evil Mooks in most franchises, such as orcs from Lord of the Rings or Sakaarans from Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), turn out to be decent guys on the wrong side, and sometimes justifiably mad against the heroes.
  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: Umbridge gets shot by the centaurs. Cue cheers from everyone.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Tony rips Ant-Man's leg off in one video. He later puts it back on, but his allies then abandoned him.
  • Black Comedy: The entirety of The Truth about Ewoks.
    • One of the Harry Potter shorts has Harry accidentaly blast Olivander's head off when the latter tells him to give the wand he was holding a wave.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Most of the patrons in the cantina go “awww” when they see baby Grogu, and come to the child’s defense when he is threatened by Ponda Baba and Evazan.
  • Cutting the Knot: Subverted when the Fellowship does try to fly on the giant eagles into Mordor. They end up getting shot down and overwhelmed by Sauron’s forces within a minute.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: As much of a hive of scum and villainy as it is, the patrons of Mos Eisley Cantina, do not tolorate Dr. Evazan and Pondo Baba bullying Grogu and promptly go to town on them for doing so.
  • Morton's Fork: Cave Troll vs. the Goblin King is supposedly a Choose-The-Winner video, but in both the Cave Troll wins. As pointed out in the description, the Cave Troll has been training for war all its life. The Goblin King is a fat lazy slob.
  • Mythology Gag: During The Mandalorian in Mos Eisley, Kuiil pulls a drink dispenser from the cantina and plugs into IG-11’s headless body, referencing how the head of IG droids were derived from a prop in the cantina scene of A New Hope. Also, Han shoots (first) at Din Djarin, and the shot ricochets off his armor and kills Greedo.
  • Overly Long Gag: The "Take the Wizard's Staff" short has the scene where Legolas, Arrogorn, and Gimli give the guards their weapons and keeps on going to the point where one of the swords still has a orc impaled on it.
  • Pass the Popcorn: A running gag in the shorts is during fight scenes that usually feature one character taking on the opposing force solo, other characters snack on popcorn or some other snack.
  • Promoted Fanboy: One of Brotherhood's shorts is included in The LEGO Movie, where Gorgy the cyclops builds a Trojan horse.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Harry and Cedric get sent to Little Hangleton and promptly nope out of there.
  • Schizo Tech: Gorgy the cyclops, resident of medieval Middle-Zealand, builds a rocket-powered horse car.
  • What Measure Is a Mook?: As it turns out, many of them are actually nice guys with no hatred for the heroes... unless they do something to tick them off.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Aragorn gets called out by his allies for killing the Mouth of Sauron, pointing out he was a messenger and under the Rules of War, messengers can not be harmed. His allies decide to do a Screw This, I'm Outta Here and leave Aragorn to fight against the Orc army all by himself.
    • Tony's allies call him out for ripping Ant Man's leg off. Stating that their war was still a Civil War. They promptly go to Captain America's side.
