Animatic Battle is an object show created by Gag Of Green, which is the second season of the joke show Object Fool. The first episode was released on January 14, 2024.

This show provides examples of...
  • Achilles' Heel: Since Specimen 12 was summoned through a vinyl in episode 1, Season 17 kicking the disc away got rid of him.
  • Animate Inanimate Object: As per the norm for Object Shows. Though there are some exceptions.
  • Ambiguously Evil: Mushroom seemingly cavorts with dark forces enough that Nebula Void sends Crazy Food straight to get killed by Animatic when she senses Mushroom's dark magic on her. She then warns Cheez-It that Mushroom is not to be trusted.
  • Ax-Crazy: The host, Animatic. He gets WORSE when he ends up eating a coffee bean.
  • Berserk Button: Doorstooper hates when anyone touches her grass.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Exclamation Mark is one of the friendliest contestants, but they were able to put up a good fight with Animatic.
  • Brick Joke: Exclamation Mark reveals that carrots cause vitamin-A toxicity, which inspires his team to name themselves after a food that doesn't cause toxicity, Papaya. When Printer asks her team to try a different way of scaring the M, Exclamation Mark tells it that carrots cause toxicity, which sufficiently scares it into disappearing.
  • Call-Back: Several to Object Fool.
    • For starters, one of the teams is named Object Fool, featuring the most contestants from the original show. Their jingle features the show's theme tune.
    • The tune Popcorn plays ends up summoning Specimen 12 again, who once again tries to blow everybody up with a bomb.
    • Doorframe is still stuck around the door that Animatic came out of by the start of the first episode.
    • Doorstopper's reaction to Sticky and Tomater picking her grass features her boing sound effect, the one that so dearly impressed Eucerin.
    • Animatic calls out Shifty, who went into the door shortly before Animatic came out of it and thus was the only person to meet him before then.
    • While his team is discussing eating the M, Eyepatch shouts "WEAKLINGS! I'LL EAT IT" and launches himself at the M to eat it. This time, though, it fails horribly and he dies for his attempt.
    • When Season 17 gives his idea to Animatic about letting the voters choose the losing team, the voting screen is the same as the one from Object Fool.
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: Once again, Animatic.
    Animatic: Wow, that sentence sucked!
Animatic: Bleh! Your arm tastes disgusting! Have you been washing it 56 times a day?
  • Commonality Connection: Pea, Peppermint, Iced Coffee, Bioluminescenty, Spas-12 and Doorstopper were dissuaded from their shouting by Shattered Ornament explaining that he really likes carrots, the screamers deciding to stop their screaming because they also love carrots. Later on, Iced Coffee remarks that he's happy he ended up on a team with a fellow carrot enjoyer.
  • Curb Stomp Cushion: While Exclamation Mark does inevitably die to Animatic in the second episode, he still manages to stall them with a brief fight scene, punching them in the face after acting vulnerable at them and dodging their attacks for a few moments.
  • Death Seeker: Bioluminescenty is an odd example as they revere death as a whole and yearn for anybody to die, themselves included. Tomater is a standard example as he introduces himself by stating he wants to kill himself and only reacts to Doorstopper's shotgun-wielding rampage by saying "Oh, maybe this is my sweet release."
  • Eldritch Abomination: Exclamation Mark, being an Algebralian, is this by default. However, he's something of a Lovecraft Lite as he can get tired after massive bursts of energy, and especially when put next to Animatic.
  • Equippable Ally: For obvious reasons, Spas-12 can be used as a shotgun... because she is a shotgun.
  • Hypocrite: Oils Paint laughs at Papaya for naming their team after a nourishment, but shows no signs of displeasure with his team being named after Meatball by Season 17.
  • Intelligible Unintelligible: Buddy Cut Boy communicates via chittery laughs, and everybody understands him just fine. Subverted in the second episode, where he speaks actual English when Acid asks for what he knows, to explain that Animatic is approaching at lightspeed.
  • Line-of-Sight Name:
    • Happy Meatball is named by Season 17 noting Meatball's joyous smile and Happy Meatbill is similarly named by Eyepatch noting how happy a drawing by Bowling Ball dubbed "meatbill" is.
    • While they were originally planning on calling their team the Happy Nice Club, Tea saying "Delightful, incredibly exciting, too" results in the team being named DIET instead.
    • Object Fool is named after Pea asks for a name that doesn't imply any doltishness, leading to other team members to utter synonyms until Cane's Cup and Hives end up saying "Object" and "Fool."
    • ID objects to Eggnog Jr. and Danger Sign's idea of naming themselves after something safe and friendly as some of them are dangerous, but they come to the compromise that most of them aren't and that most is good, so the team ends up being named MOST.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Because he's the only character whose name starts with an M on his team, Meatball refuses to try and harm the M. He apologizes to his team for the moral difference.
  • Stylistic Suck: Animatic constantly utilizes this.
  • Too Dumb to Live:
    • On realizing that his straw is gone, Cane's Cup decides to try and get it back through the magic of... detonating Demon Core. Nebula Void tries to intervene, but Animatic shows up before then and stops Demon Core from exploding.
    • Season 17 walks in front of a violent, rampaging Animatic to suggest the viewers choose which team between DIET and Happy Meatball should be up for elimination. All he can do as he's inevitably killed is call them out for being jealous he had a better idea than them.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: The first episode has a very similar structure to the first episode of Battle for BFDI, starting off with the soon-to-be-contestants' various character-establishing antics that eventually lead up to someone doing something monumentally stupid that risks the total obliteration of everything with a Person of Mass Destruction, only for an enigmatic Eldritch Abomination to show up and stop it. The entity soon establishes his violent tendencies, and beckons the 64 nearby contestants to join his competition in eight teams of eight. Some lines are even directly lifted from or based on lines from the original, such as the contestants trying to figure out what Animatic is only for Clay Brick's gibberish to get through to him. Episode 2 deviates from this.
