- Animesque: The channel liberally uses some anime tropes and visual elements.
- Always Someone Better: Melanie is second best to Harry despite the former studying much to her chagrin.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Mrs. Harris pretended to be a cool teacher who relates to Dany's problems at school. However she used her diary against her to get her expelled. Fortunately Dany was able to expose her to the principal and she was let go.
- Spoiled Brat: Sophia was spoiled, thought very little of school and spent most of her time partying. When her father has had enough of her, he decided to teach her a lesson by hiring some people to kidnap her and put her on a farm.
- Voodoo Doll: Melanie tries to create one to try to get her parents back together. She tested it with Harry and it appeared to work at first, and several bad things happened to him such as breaking his arm. It later turned out that the doll wasn't real and Harry was just playing along.
