    Season 3
GoodeVision has something to do with Granny Goodness.
  • Yep. Confirmed.

Dr. Jace is Tara's mother.
In the comics, Tara is the King's illegitimate daughter. We don't know who he had her with.
  • It is worth noting that this version of Tara has a much closer resemblance to the Queen than she does to Dr. Jace. It doesn't disqualify the theory since people can look much different from their close relatives, but it does call into question if the show didn't just make this version of Tara the king's legitimate daughter.

Alternately....

Tara is still Brion's half sister.
But not from the king: she's the illegitimate child of the queen. After all, we have full indication that the maternal side of Brion's family has the metagene (Baron and Brion, and thus Tara), so having a different father would not affect Tara's status. Also as said above, she very clearly resembles the queen.

Or Alternatively...

Dr. Jace is revealed to be the mother of the original Gabrielle Daou (i.e the body Violet now inhabits).
Jace is shown to have a particular interest and concern for Violet that seems different than the other characters. And she does mention having a daughter who 'died young', and Gabrielle Daou is dead, and most would say a teenage girl is still young.
  • Jossed. We meet Gabrielle's real mother in "Quiet Conversations."

Gar will be in a love triangle with Perdita and Tara.
It usually goes that Terra manipulates Beast Boy and they have a romantic relationship.
  • Jossed, as Beast Boy breaks up with Perdita in season 4 prior to any romance with Tara.

Baron Bedlam will be a Composite Character with Doctor Bedlam.

Batman and the others resigning from the League is All According to Plan.
It was planned in advance, and in this continuity, Batman being so quick to break up the fellowship seems like a case of O.O.C. Is Serious Business. Knowing Batman, he probably has a plan and this is some sort of 4-dimensional chess against the Light.
  • It's possible that the plan may also include him recreating a League-like organization that is not tied to the U.N. Basically allowing the Justice League to reboot itself without being tied to the U.N and as easily influenced and controlled, like the were when they were secret in their early years.
  • Confirmed. Batman and the leaders of the other teams are working together in secret as an "Anti-Light" to play against the Light.

Nightwing and Batman are working together.
And not just on the same side: the Outsiders and 'Batman Inc' are operating to the same ends with allied leaders, the others are just not aware of it.
  • Confirmed, plus more, the leaders 'Batman Inc', The Outsiders and the League are all working together behind the scenes, to create an 'Anti-Light'.

Nightwing and Troia have a history.
Because if Dick Grayson was around a Amazon close to his age for years, he would have Dick Grayson'd.

Oracle was indeed paralyzed between seasons.
Oracle hasn't made a single onscreen appearance despite being a Voice with an Internet Connection, and was kept hidden from the others. That's highly suspect, especially since it seems odd for her to transfer from Batgirl to that role if everything was fine. The most likely scenario is that she was paralyzed like in the comics, but whether it was a recreation of The Killing Joke is another matter entirely, as Young Justice is known to reinvent concepts of DC lore while still being faithful to the source.
  • Confirmed, though the exact details of her paralysis aren't yet known.
  • In season 4, it is revealed she was paralyzed preventing Joker from being killed by Orphan, to save her from being a killer.

The Light has new members.
Black Manta &/or Brain, having been captured and most likely still there (if not outright disgraced like Ocean Master was), will have replacements.
  • Well Ra's has resigned from the Light, so there will be at least one new member.
    • Based on "Home Fires", with Ra's having resigned and Manta and Brain MIA, the Light's current membership appears to stand at Vandal Savage, Lex Luthor, Queen Bee, Klarion, Deathstroke, Ultra-Humanite, and Granny Goodness.
    • And by the end of the season you can throw Zvaid Baazovi in as member 12.

Potential new members of the Light.
  • Edwin Alva, Hardware's nemesis
  • Henry Bendix, who fought the Authority.
  • Ivana Baiul, who was a problem for Gen 13.
  • Circe
  • Ares
  • All Jossed, see above.

Red Hood will become an informant to the Outsiders.
That's what happened in the comics.
  • Not in Season 3, at least. Red Hood proper never appears.

Babs had some kind of falling out with the team after her paralysis.
An obvious fact in Outsiders is that only Dick seems to even be aware of Barbra acting as Oracle. My theory is that there was some kind of argument between her and the team because she felt they were overprotective of her after the Joker attacked her, and it is for that reason that she is not in contact with the others. If true clearly Dick was more empathetic and encouraging towards her, which is why they work together.
  • Jossed. She's shown to be on speaking terms with them.

Queen Bee will be crucial to Beast Boy's arc.
Gar has become a famous actor in a hit TV series, whose also leading a campaign to raise awareness of metahuman trafficking. As manipulative the Light can be when it comes to the media, especially with Godfrey on their side, they might try to twist his message in a way that satisfies them. I'm not sure how Queen Bee herself will fit into this, but come on, she killed Gar's mother for petty revenge against M'gann and it traumatized him so bad he can't look at a waterfall. Gar will never be free of the pain until she's brought to justice!
  • Jossed. Beast Boy doesn't even mention Queen Bee once the whole season.
  • On the other hand she is in one of his mind hallucinations. But still jossed, his conflict is now with Gretchen Goode.

Aqualad-Man is more aware of the Outsiders than one thinks.
He is well aware of Nightwing hacking the Justice League computer, he just is letting it go.
  • Confirmed. The League, Team, Outsiders and Batman Inc. are all working together and only the leaders know, as part of their counter-Light strategy.

Halo is a Mother Box, either totally or partially.
Superboy points out that a Mother Box has been dissected in the same area where they were experimenting on metahumans. She possesses encyclopedic knowledge of the New Gods, she isn't familiar with being hungry, she's an old soul in a young body, and whenever she heals, the Sphere comes near her and glows purple as though she were helping her 'reboot'. Mother Boxes are noted to have souls and personalities, and Halo's origin in the comics did involve being fused with an alien energy being.
  • Confirmed. Halo is the soul/consciousness of a Mother Box housed in a human body.

The Goode Googles will spread the Anti-Life Equation.
Read what the first letters of each episode title spell out as per Fridge Horror: PREPARE THE ANTI-LIFE EQUATION. Then remember the Justifier Helmets of Final Crisis. Then remember what they....Anti-Life justifies my hate!
  • Jossed. The Anti-Life Equation was spread via Granny's Ghost Dimension machine.

Impulse will be shown to be immune to Queen Bee's powers.
Greg Weisman's answer to Impulse's sexuality (see Trivia's Word of Gay) could be interpreted to be a narrative device; if Impulse is not sexually to women, then Queen Bee's attractive power would not have any effect on him.

Cheshire is working with the bad guys again as part of a deal.
To keep the bad guys off Roy/Will and Lian, she agreed to work with them again. Part of this deal is Red Arrow not going against supervillains that don't bother him (he can fight Brick, he can't go and punch Icicle Jr, example), so he remains retired. Artemis is living with Roy/Will and Lian in part because she originally didn't fully trust the deal, and is going on Outsider missions after enough time has passed she can trust the deal to be legit.
  • Jossed. It's pretty clear Artemis has no idea what Jade is doing or why she left, seemingly believing its the result of Jade's own issues with commitment and being unable to leave her old life behind (much like Artemis has had herself), as opposed to Jade being forced to keep away for their own safety. Will also appears completely oblivious to any external motive and seemingly retired simply so he could focus on Lian and his company.

Halo is a daughter of Vandal Savage.
One of her powers is resurrection, it also explains what Nabu meant when he said she is a 'old soul in a young body.'
  • Jossed. The old soul Fate was referring to was the essence of a Motherbox, a living computer whose "soul" got attached to Gabrielle Daou's corpse.

Lobo's severed finger will become Slobo.
He's one of only two members of the original team not to show up on the show at this point in time.
  • Well, uh, Confirmed, but Lobo immediately steps on him and kills him at the end of the credits of the Season 3 Finale.

Tara/Terra is not sleeping with Deathstroke.
Because that plot point was and shall always be ewwww.

Terra is a triple agent.
If the creators are aware that fans are getting tired of the Judas Contract storyline, then I believe they would consider having Slade think Terra is manipulating the team when instead she's manipulating him. But she keeps it to herself for the whole "better kept secret" scenario the heroes of the show are known for.Alternatively....
  • Mostly Jossed. She does join the heroes in the end, but she doesn't ever serve as a 'triple agent', meaning she doesn't intentionally give false info to Deathstroke or provide the heroes info.

Terra is a double agent, but will be found out quickly.
With two Bat-hackers and a telepath frequently around her, she would not be hidden for long and doesn't do any damage except to Brion's heart.
  • Confirmed. She was found out quickly all right. They knew all along.

Terra isn’t a mole or traitor or double agent at all, Dr. Jace is
We never actually see Tara text Deathstroke, we just see her pull out her phone and then cut to Deathstroke. Terra being a mole is such a well known twist that even this little bit of subterfuge is unnecessary. It just so happens that there is one other person with the Outsiders that was revealed to be infiltrating the team in the comics...
  • In "Illusion of Control", Dr. Jace is calling someone, saying it's "been a long time". That said, it also confirms Terra is indeed the mole, so half-jossed in the best case.
  • Half-Jossed, Half-Confirmed. Both are spies/traitors. Though Terra does turncoat in "Nevermore", but she was a spy.

The Light killed the Doom Patrol.
Doom Patrol became active and died somewhere between seasons one and two and their archenemy, the Brain, was a member of the Light. While it's not part of the Light's style to kill heroes they could control in one way or another, it might be that either Brain or his minion acted out of the way or Doom Patrol just did something that pissed the Light enough to decide keeping them alive is not worth the trouble, similiar to how they were actively trying to kill the Team in season 2 finale.

Wally will come back to life, or be revealed to have still been alive all along.
Per the other Epileptic Tree on the YMMV page as of Episode 13 along with Terra talk. How this will happen is anyone's guess at this point (as DC Comics has no shortage of options Greg could use without even considering the Speed Force).
  • Jossed. At least for Season 3.

The Authority will debut in this season, if not a later one.
The infamous anti-hero team will debut as a result of the Light's restrictions of the Justice League as a stringless public team, most likely out of their own victims. How this version will treat the Justice League is up in the air, especially if they are initially saved by the JL, the Team, or the Outsiders. Said team will be responsible for the fall of Queen Bee as a demonstration of their modus operandi.
  • This idea reminds one of Superman vs. the Elite.
    • Given that Bialya appeared in said adaptation, it is not unlikely that the Authority could borrow some elements from the Elite given they are expies of the Authority, up to and including their animated beef with Bialya.
      • Or alternatively, the Elite themselves will appear in this show, while still fulfilling the presumed roles expected by this theory.

Amanda Waller will have it out for the Light
Lest we forget she lost her job at Belle Reve due to their actions, and we will see it with how she treats her Suicide Squad members: what pet the dog moments she will have (which vary between writers of course: sometimes Amanda's actually nice to them, sometimes she's actively annoyed they don't all die) will be reserved for the squad members who are not Light members or minion. Also known as 'Captain Boomerang will not be the punching bag for a change'. She might not even give Light members time off their sentence, again unlike Boomy. Even if she doesn't have all the facts, it will be likely that she will at least know that Luther and Bee are members and will be aiming in the same anti-Light direction as the League, if not in spirit.

This is also known as Waller will probably try to assassinate them at some point in season, or have the desire to do so.

The Justice League will disband by the end of the season.
The fake splitting and falling out among the heroes will result in a real one, only along different lines. Its been made abundantly clear that, at least for activities on Earth (outer space is a different case, as the UN doesn't have jurisdiction there), that the Justice League has been rendered largely ineffectual by Lex Luthor and the UN, and that there are calls for the Justice League to be shut down, but the disbanding will be at least partly the result of distrust and discontent by the other League members (as well as all the heroes who left the League to join other teams) when they (inevitably) learn that the whole split of the League at the start of the season was orchestrated by a few members (Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman) who deceived and manipulated everyone else to believe the split was real; Superman, in particular, probably won't be happy to learn Batman and Wonder Woman left him in the dark (as his exclusion is mentioned in the show itself and given a justification he likely won't like). There will also very likely be personal splits caused by this deception that go beyond the League, such as when Cassie learns Tim was in on the whole thing and didn't tell her, even while their relationship suffered as a result; Beast Boy likely won't be happy M'gann was in on it as well (which will make the decision to not inform him after he creates the Outsiders all the worse in hindsight). Also, Kaldur and Nightwing might be called out for once again conspiring in a plan that requires deceiving most of the other heroes (they just let more people in on it this time), and unlike last time, won't get off easy for it; Kaldur will at the very least accept responsibility for deceiving everyone and resign as chairman, even if the League doesn't disband.
  • Jossed. The Justice League does not disband, though they do reorganize themselves a bit and change how they operate with the public. Kaldur does resign as Chairman, however, for basically the same reason as suggested, as does Wonder Woman (who was co-chair, apparently) and M'gann resigns from leading the Team.

Jade won't react kindly when she learns that Will and Artemis may have a romantic interest in one another.
Presumably, when she told Will he needed to move on from her, she didn't mean with her sister. This will undoubtedly result in some kind of fight between Artemis and Jade, with each calling the other out; Jade for abandoning her family; Artemis for developing feelings for her own brother-in-law when she pretty clearly still isn't over Wally or his death. Bonus drama if Wally comes back and his being alive just makes the situation all the more complicated and awkward, though he'd presumably be a bit more understanding than Jade on the whole situation.
  • Jossed. She never finds out, and Artemis and Will realize they don't have any romantic feelings for one another after kissing once.

Will and Artemis's heavily implied romantic interest in one another is borne from Loving a Shadow and being each other's Replacement Goldfish.
Artemis is Jade's sister and is helping Will raise Lian in Jade's place, so her similarity to Jade is obvious. Will has already been used once as a replacement for Wally— by Nightwing when he needed advice earlier on, to the point of having a Freudian Slip; it's possible Artemis is doing the same but to a greater degree, as Will, like Wally, is a redhead, is a mostly-retired hero who is content living a normal life, and now tends to lean more on the lighter side, as well as being more the voice of conscience and less inclined to deception than Artemis and the others are. He's essentially filling the role Wally would be in if Wally were still alive. The fact he's one of Wally's oldest friends also might play a part.
  • Jossed. Probably. They both decide they're better off as just regular family. Why they had interest in the first place seems to mostly be because of Lian and what was best for her.

Halo's repeated deaths and resurrections will be revealed to come at some kind of cost or negative consequence.
Halo dies seemingly every other episode, but her deaths are never treated comedically by the show and the other heroes don't ever seem to question if it could wind up having a negative consequence. Right now her repeated deaths just come off as silly, but later all the jokes fans make could end up being a Funny Aneurysm Moment if it's revealed to be more than just the writers having fun with their new freedom to show gore and death, as well as creating a Rewatch Bonus.
  • Confirmed; it seems use of her healing powers shortens her lifespan, and she's already used it enough that her life is in immediate jeopardy.
  • But then Jossed, when it's revealed she isn't actually dying. Though one could argue that Violet's repeated deaths gave Jace an opening to manipulate her that she otherwise wouldn't have had.

The Light are oblivious to the existence of the Anti-Life Equation and what it's capable of.
Darkseid and Granny Goodness are actually deceiving Vandal and the other members of The Light. They believe he wants Earth for its metahumans, but actually, they're just a side-objective or a means to acquire the Anti-Life Equation. Presumably, The Light wouldn't have any way of knowing about the Anti-Life Equation unless Darkseid or one of his lieutenants told them of it. Tying into an above theory, the Light believes the purpose of the Goode Googles is to find and acquire metahumans, but in reality, their real purpose is to broadcast the Anti-Life Equation. Also, even The Light wouldn't want Darkseid to ever acquire something that powerful, as, if nothing else, it would prevent them from achieving their own ultimate objectives and they could be just as easily placed under its control as anyone else.
  • Half-Jossed, Half-Confirmed. Savage seems aware of what the Anti-Life Equation is, but the other Light members don't show any visible reaction to being told Darkseid has it. Savage, meanwhile, snaps the device he's holding in half. Clearly, he was unaware that was why Darkseid wanted Violet, and, clearly, knows what the implication of Darkseid having it means.

At some point, Tim, Victor, and Gar will wind up in the same room. It remains possible that Starfire and Raven, or someone close enough, will also be in this room.
Everyone's been expecting it, and they're three-fifths of the way there already.
  • Confirmed. They are all in the same room in "Antisocial Pathologies". The three don't have a conversation though. Starfire and Raven remain unintroduced.

Raven will be one of Klarion's Rutabaga Metahumans
Building on the above, this is how she could be introduced. I sort of doubt it, since none of the kids in the group resemble Raven much and the creative staff would certainly have called attention to it if that were their plan, but it's still possible.
  • Jossed, she never appears.

Onslaught will create HIVE Academy as a front for more Superhuman Trafficking
One: I feel like they wouldn't go to the trouble of giving the group a definitive name and lineup if it wasn't a buildup to something. Two: It would make a good pun for Queen Bee's operatives. Three: Abducting super-kids is already sort of A Thing for this season, so it's thematically appropriate. Brother Blood could make an appearance- who knows? It would require a significant demotion to avoid him stepping on any other villains' toes, but the show's done things like that before.

A flashback to Vandal's past will reveal he used to be The Hedonist
More in line with his comic characterization, it will be confirmed that he had little concern with global affairs until he first encountered Darkseid. Perhaps the flashback can be set in Arthurian times, with him alongside the Demon Knights. Bonus points if he refers to his fellow knights as "We seven soldiers")

Violet will survive her terminal diagnosis by entering another body.
Violet's problem is stated to be due to improperly healing herself and this is discovered by examining her DNA. Meaning her issue is strictly with the body she is in. Violet is the spirit of a Motherbox that entered Gabrielle Daou's body. Nothing has been established that says she can't survive the death of the body she is in and enter a new one. Possibly at the loss of her existing memories/personality, but still alive in some form. Also, it possibly not being a female body she uses next, taking her talk of not necessarily being female into account, and the fact she won't likely have a choice of bodies to pick from (and wouldn't steal a body from a still-living person).
  • Jossed. Violet isn't dying.

Jace is lying about Violet's diagnosis
It's very strange that Jace has kept secret Violet's terminal diagnosis from everyone besides Violet and this 'mentor' who continues to remain unidentified. We only have Jace's word that Violet is dying, as Violet has yet to show any symptoms that would indicate she's terminal, and since no one else is aware of this 'diagnosis', no one else can run their own test to confirm what Jace claims. Of course, if Violet isn't dying, then Jace wouldn't WANT anyone else to run any tests. Violet is still very naive and trusting, so of course, she would believe anything Jace says. Why would Jace even have collected Violet's DNA to test in the first place? As stated, Violet has shown no symptoms that would make anyone suspect she's sick. Granted, the flaw in this plan is that Jace couldn't be certain Violet wouldn't tell anyone else, and then the con would immediately be up as soon as they tested her, but then Jace could claim simple error and feign relief that she was wrong. Also, it's interesting that Jace waited until Violet moved to the tower, and she herself moved in and became the kids' minder, before telling her this. Had she tried this when Violet still lived with Artemis and Will, she wouldn't have had the control and the ability to seclude Violet as she does at the tower, and Artemis would find Jace's constant visits to speak to Violet suspicious, or at least wonder what they were discussing. It's possible Jace faked this diagnosis so she could isolate Violet and have a justification for performing some kind of experiment on her that she couldn't otherwise explain.
  • Confirmed. Under the control of the Anti-Life Equation, Jace admits to making up Violet's diagnosis, because she agreed to give Violet to Ultra-Humanite, who would've let her keep Brion and Tara (or so she believed, Ultra Humanite never intended to keep that deal).
  • Humanite is her mentor, it's Granny that wanted Halo.

The heroes will lose the war with Apokolips. At least the first time around.
In "Evolution", the Light concludes that the heroes on Earth aren't capable of repulsing an invasion by a Starro-controlled armada and Vandal Savage feels it necessary to intervene himself with the War World (and the help of Apokolips) to stop it. It's hard not to agree with their assessment, even if they probably hold most of the heroes in lower regard than they deserve. Most of the Justice League members best suited to fighting an invasion (Superman, Wonder Woman, the Hawks, the Green Lanterns) are all off in space. The Green Lantern Corp itself is busy fighting the Reach. Nothing since that episode has really changed that. So if the Earth can't protect itself from Starro, how exactly are they suppose to fight Apokolips, which can use boom tubes to deliver their whole invasion force to Earth without any warning. The fact they're still oblivious to the threat even late in the season only makes the argument they could win the fight all the harder to make. Couple this with the ending of "Bloodlines", where the Earth was still a ruin even after Bart traveled back in time to stop the Reach (assuming it wasn't Delayed Ripple Effect, which would be odd for this show to use), and you've got a not unreasonable idea of how the war with Apokolips will likely go. Obviously, it doesn't end there though. Time Travel has already been used once to prevent the Earth from being conquered by an alien threat, and its kind of too major a concept to just use once and then discard. Granted, the technology Bart used to build his time machine probably doesn't exist yet, so they would have to find another means. But the DCU possesses roughly several hundred different methods of time travel in the comics, any one of which can be used in the show (but, once again, a method that only works once, so as not to create a plot hole when facing future threats).
  • Jossed. At least for Season 3.

The Outsiders team won't exist beyond this season.
Because Season 4 (now confirmed) will presumably get its own new subtitle, and with it, a whole new focus. Even if they did continue to exist in some form, their importance would be drastically reduced to make way for whatever new thing the show wants to do next (kind of like how the Reach ceased to really matter after Invasion). Beast Boy could decide to disband or just leave the group himself (which would drastically weaken without his leadership) when he learns the team owes much of its success to the Anti-Light's schemes, and Gar arguably created his team to move away from such underhanded methods. He may think that the team's fame is fruit from a tainted tree.
  • Jossed, not only do the Outsiders still exist, they get several new members and even a new category in the zeta tube designations.

Lex is going to betray the Light
He's demonstrated that he's not as above petty revenge schemes as his comic self and despite Godfrey's prompting will likely want to get even with the Outsiders on his terms rather than any other way. He'll likely be motivated by several of the Light's operations starting to go bottom up based on already existing problems (Klarion getting taken out, Deathstroke getting bad intel from Terra, etc.) The final straw will be a mixture of the United Nations finally deciding to take a stand on Superhuman Traficking and Savage brushing off Lex's concerns to continue with the Long Game he's been running.
  • Jossed. Despite losing his position at the UN, Luthor is still a member of the Light.

Darkseid will end his deal with Savage
The League are getting closer and closer to finding out details that Apokolips clearly want to keep hidden and are in a good position to stop his independent plans. Should that happen he'll likely blame Savage and the Light for sending them into space to start with, regardless of his own hand in events, and decide their arrangement no longer applies. Darkseid will choose to start an open war with Earth, which is going to bring the Light into the public eye of the planet and the galaxy.
  • Jossed. In spite of everything, the alliance between the two still stands by the end of Season 3.

Dolphin will become the next Aquagirl at some point.

"Terminus" won't center on Deathstroke.
It's too obvious, and the episode titles are usually vague enough that you can't guess what they're referring to until you've seen the episode. Anyone with an even casual knowledge of Deathstroke (who was originally called Deathstroke the Terminator, until James Cameron made the Terminator films and the comics dropped that part of his title) would guess from the title that he would factor majorly into the episode, and then logically assume (give its late placement in the season) it's the episode where he executes his Judas Contract-esqe plan to take down the team (there's even a semi-recent DC crossover called The Terminus Contract involving him). 'Terminus' could be referring to the fact that it's technically the penultimate episode if you assume (reasonably) that the last three are a three-part finale (and thus technically one giant episode, like the first three episodes of the season were).
  • This is correct, actually. Deathstroke doesn't appear in the episode and Tara being his agent plays no role in the episode (though it's clearly given a nod to by Tara's reaction to Granny referencing a betrayal, which she likely meant Jace but Tara thought referred to her). Whether it was a deliberate red herring isn't clear, but given the history of the creators, it is very likely.

As in Final Crisis, the forces of Apokolips use a series of successive bodies to remain on Earth
This could explain how Gretchen Goode both is and isn't Granny Goodness, as Metron confusingly states.
  • Possibly: they're using Bedlam's facilities to create bodies for themselves. I recall there was an Apokoliptan Mr. Miracle villain called Dr. Bedlam, so it could be a bit of a shout out to that character.
  • Jossed in another sense. A machine that physically split them is destroyed, merging them back together.

Infinity Inc. is being founded by Lex Luthor to serve as a counterforce to the Outsiders.
Infinity Inc. is usually a team made up of the family of past JSA members, but in 52 Lex Luthor coopted the name to form his own team of 'superheroes' who he gave powers via meta-gene therapy. "Unknown Factors" has already set-up that concept with Karen, and the episode shows a pseudo-flashback of her giving a speech related to such practices, meaning the science is public knowledge and something Lex Luthor would have easy access to. Karen is now in no position to oppose the practice without being a hypocrite, even if no one is aware she did it to her newborn. Luthor probably can't use any of the meta-human teens the Light has kidnapped to form Infinity Inc., since they are meant to be a public group and it would be pretty easily discovered if the members had all been kidnapped and been missing up til now, and the kids that have been rescued are now mostly out of his reach. Also, Luthor would be using Gar's own team's fame against him, as his team's work has made it all seem glamourous and there will be kids who want to do the same but weren't born with powers, making them easy targets. This team could then be portrayed as being like the Outsiders, and not the Outsiders enemies, but still secretly controlled by Luthor, and can be used to steal much of the spotlight, which meets what Godfrey said Luthor should do previously.
  • Confirmed. They were formed by Luthor and he is in control of them. And everyone is aware he is, including the members of Infinity Inc and the Justice League, who expose that.

Nightwing was harmed by the X-Pit worse than Black Lightning because of his manipulations.
Perhaps the Pit affects people based on being or feeling guilt for their actions; while Black Lightning did kill a child, it was accidental, and it's hard to legitimately blame him for it. By contrast, Nightwing has been manipulating several of his friends and the younger heroes into doing things they really don't want to do, leaving him worse for wear in the Pit than Black Lightning. Making it all the more fitting is that the X-Pit is where a parental figure (Granny Goodness) abuses her "children" in order to manipulate them for her own gain.
  • Jossed. It's because Black Lightning is a metahuman while Dick isn't. According to Granny, Metahumans are more resilient to the X-Pit.

Wally will be return in the series finale
He'll have a Big Damn Heroes return to join the final battle.
  • Jossed. Although he appears in Artemis' magically-induced Imagine Spot in the penultimate episode.

    Season 4
Lex Will Get Kicked Off the Light
Cracks started showing in his composure and reputation during the second half of Season Three, culminating in several of his schemes blowing up in his face during the finale, forcing him out of the UN. The other members of the Light may take note that Luthor isn't as skilled or as powerful as he used to be, and depose him in favor of a new member with a pristine public image to serve as their new spokesman.
  • He's still valuable because of his vast wealth. The final nail in his coffin would be if they could recruit someone else in his income bracket, rendering him totally redundant.
  • For now at least jossed, as of the Zatanna arc he's still on the Light.

We'll get two versions of the Legion
Because there are at least two possible futures at work here: the bad one Neutron is part of, as a result of Impulse not being a big enough nail, and, one hopes, a non-bad one. This may be used as a means to show off different character designs for each Legionnaire- perhaps Preboot and Reboot.
  • Jossed ultimately in the finale. Brainiac Five comes to the past to pick up the other Legionnaires, stating that the future didn't change much.

Or alternatively, the involvement of the Legion will cause/be an attempt to avert a Time Crash
Allowing characters from various time periods to make at least cameos.
  • Jossed, the Legion are only here to stop Superboy from being killed.

Both Conner and a toddler-age Jon Kent will go to the Legion future
In honor of the Silver Age, we'll get two Superboys teaming up with the Legion.
  • Jossed, the Legion go back to their future and leave both Conner and Jon behind.

The Legion will come into conflict with Bart
The reason why the Legion are in the past is to prevent something in the present day from destroying their future. It's possible that Bart is the one responsible, because he changed the past to avert his Reach apocalypse future. Which inadvertently caused a chain reaction that radically changed future events that would have normally occurred (like the formation of the United Planets) to no longer happen, resulting in the Legions reality being erased from the timeline.
  • They meet Bart, but jossed because it's not a conflict. They need his help to give them a way to get around when their Time Sphere is broken.

At least one member of The Legion will decide to stay in the present and join either the Team or the Outsiders

Superboy isn't dead guys
  • While the most obvious guess is possible, there is one major thing in his favor right now: The Legion. In the comics after Conner died fighting Superboy-Prime, a legionnaire had put him in a healing device that revived him a thousand years later to, again, fight Superboy-Prime. While that death had nothing to do with lava and the one who did so, Starman, isn't present, three legionnaires (especially one with density shifting) could pull something similar off.
  • Both Tyroc and Invisible Kid have teleportation in their histories. It's possible the device on the bomb was meant to rescue Connor right after he destroyed the virus.
  • Confirmed in a twisted manner. Phantom Girl put Superboy in the Phantom Zone.

M'Gann will become ruthless like she was back in Season 2, if not worse
With Conner presumably dying right before their wedding day, M'Gann will have no one to hold her back and end up spiraling back to her Season 2 ruthlessness. She will go on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge against Ma'alefa'ak, believing her brother also put the kryptonite on the bomb since he has been Evil Is Petty before with killing innocent metahumans and it wouldn't be so different for him to kill her fiance out of spite. Ironically, Ma'alefa'ak was not the one to lace the bomb with kryptonite and even if he protests, M'Gann won't believe him and Mind Rapes him. Only then does she realize he's telling the truth.
  • Yes, she attacks Ma'alefa'ak in anger and he does deny it, but the rampage subsides and she gives up. Ma'alefa'ak joining the true culprit, Lor-Zod, doesn't help things however.

Mary's powers and past.
  • It is implied that something happened in the past that made her give up being a superhero and being a Marvel. in the comics Mary only had her powers because her twin brother Billy got them however the price of that was his powers were halved whenever she transformed. It is possible they were not aware of that until something happened that nearly killed him as how often does someone come along powerful enough to Challenge (Captain Marvel) at full power so instead she searched for another source of power for her abilities namely the Leylines and yet it is clear she is extremely weak compared to her former self.
    • It's hinted instead that it had to do with her lust for power.

Who is the enemy the Legion are after?
  • Nix Uoatan: A villainous take on the Monitor.
  • Ol-Vir: A Daximite who serves Daxamite. This would explain the two laser marks and tie it all into Darkseid and the Legion.
    • Neither. Though while it is someone with heat vision, who works with Darkseid, it's actually Lor-Zod, targeting Superboy so the Legion won't form and defeat his father, General Zod.

DeSaad knows the truth about The Martians racism and possibly their ancestry.
  • In the pre-New 52 continuity, it was revealed that the Martians were once a single race known as the Burning Martians. A brutal race of pyromantic destruction who were in eternal conflict with themselves. The Guardians of the Universe had been monitoring them and realised that they'd eventually have the means of developing interstellar travel. So they reprogrammed the entire Martian race to have a genetic weakness towards fire, but also made them evolve different skin tones as a deterrent from unifying again.
  • If DeSaad was given test subjects to experiment on to create his genocide bomb, then he'd eventually find evidence of genetic tampering. Which he finds amusing because the Martians are ignorant of the true extent of the powers they posses.

Nightwing's portion of Phantoms will be an Under the Red Hood styled fight against Jason Todd, with the other members of the Batfamily.
One of the biggest criticisms the show has is that someone, often a member of the Batfamily, starts manipulating the other heroes, keeping secrets and doing morally grey things in the name of an ill-defined greater good. Someone else calls them out, they say sorry (they are not really sorry) and do it all over again in the next season. So it would be fitting for a season called Phantoms to bring back what is considered Batman's greatest failure and flip the script on them, Jason, as shown in both the comics and Under the Red Hood, is quite Machiavellian when he sets out to do something, planning numerous scenarios that put even Batman on a corner and he always insists that it's for a greater good that the other members of the family cannot achieve because of their "antiquated sense of morality". But simply pitting him against Batman would just be repeating the events of Unde the Red Hood and, as the newest comic book Robin shows, Batman wasn't the only one who failed the other Robins, Dick also had his share of failures, especially when it comes to Jason making for an interesting emotional fight. Of course, if it was just Jason vs Dick, Tim, Stephanie and Cassandra it would turn into a curbstomp fairly quickly so he would likely have the aid of the League of Shadows, specifically Ra's who may want to test either Batman or who is truly Batman's best heir.
  • Jossed, it's actually a Team arc centering around the climax of the season, General Zod's escape.

Arc predictions
It seems this season each member of the original team from season 1 will be getting their own arc, with the first few episodes focusing on M'gann and Conner on Mars and later going to Artemis' arc with the League of Shadows. So going by that pattern....

  • (With the poster featuring the seven surviving original members, it is possible that each arc of 4 episodes will cover one or two. If one was to put Red Arrow in with the 7 Kaldur/Dick/Zatanna/Rocket will get the arcs after Artemis and Red Arrow.
  • Episode 9 is titled "Odnu", which is "undo" backwards. Meaning Zatanna's arc will happen after Artemis' arc.

Episode spelling: Invitation X

As of the second arc we have the letters that spell out I N V I T A T and I, with a O and N likely after that. The question is, what is the invitation for?

(Some combination of 14 letters)

  • To join the Legion of Superheroes?
  • A early foundation of the United Federation of Planets (Earth, Mars, Rann, etc?) to fight Darkseid?
  • To join the Light?
  • To attend Conner and M'gann's wedding?
  • To Conner's rebirth

With the third arc's episode titles being O N T O, further fuel as it spells out Invitation To, but what the invitation is is still up in the air beyond being a combination of 12 letters.

  • "Invitation To K" so far as of the end of the first half of broadcasted episodes, with 13 more to go after K.
    • Invitation To KONELRETURNING
    • Invitation To KNEELBEFOREHIM
    • Invitiation To Kneel BEFOREZOD
  • Now "Invitation to Kneel" with 9 more letters.
Artemis arc predictions

  • Onyx is a true defector and Cassandra the fake (as with the comics)
    • Confirmed.
  • Cassandra is a true defector and Onyx the fake (per set up so far)
  • Both are fake defectors.
    • Jossed: The worst with Onyx was that the Shadows knew she was defecting and used that to their advantage.
  • Both are legitimate defectors.
    • Jossed: Cassandra's defection was fake.
  • Mind control is an extra layer to the above mess (one or both think they are legit defectors but with a phrase like 'Broken Arrow' they become Shadows again).

There are other Legionnaires groups in the other arcs

With focus shifted off Mars we might not get many threads on that plot from the trio of Saturn, Phantom, and Chameleon, but there is nothing but more legion members to draw from. Notably in this question is the use of tranq darts on Arrowette. There was no reason to not use a bullet and that shooter seemed to be the only one using them versus swords or guns. Not killing Arrowette was odd...unless you were a time traveler and on their side who, say, impersonated a shadow.

  • Jossed, only these three Legionnaires appear until Brainiac Five appears in the final episode, and in a flashback sequence alongside Lightning Lad.

Each arc will have a major death

Young Justice Phantoms and all. Phantoms are ghosts, and that means death. Conner is just the first, and the question of revival that hangs over his head will follow the others who die as well. As to who dies...

Artemis Arc

  • Cheshire: The long tenured assassin has a few death flags floating around her: she's already been declared as 'wanting to die' by Sensei, the set up with her past with Artemis and her current actions can easily set up a death by redemption, and depending on how Damian Wayne is being set up she would have to be silenced to not go and say 'hey, tell Batman that Talia has their son and the kid will need therapy'.
    • Jossed, despite her best efforts to the contrary.
  • Artemis: Especially if Conner is being revived and the method is not just for him per the comics reviving other Original Team members isn't impossible.
    • Jossed.

Zatanna Arc

  • Zatara: Season 4's taken to expanding on plot points raised by Season 3 that were not heavily focused on in favor of the main narrative thread of the two Outsiders teams (the one akin to the one in the comics and the team named the Outsiders), and one of those threads is the Zatara scene where he's aged pretty rapidly. Rapid aging that could catch up to him and put the Helmet of Fate back into circulation, something that could very well be why there is a 'war' where Klarion's being pretty active.
  • Zatanna: Following on the Conner and Artemis death idea.

Artemis's or Cheshire's terrible childhood will involve sexual abuse

The final book referenced by the titles of Artemis's arc is I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, which has that as a plot point. Given the emphasis on how terrible Sportsmaster and associates can be, abusive parents, and how Megan's arc made our favorite Martian's comments about siblings come off as a lot more serious and depressing, it is possible that Bereft and its lines about it being like Artemis's dad to undress and redress her while she's sleeping be a lot more fucked up than it already was. This line recontexting would work for the intended 'Sportsmaster is the worst person in the series'' idea even if the main victim was Cheshire.

  • Jossed. The analogy seems to be more for Onyx and racial justice in her backstory, and not that part of the book.

Zatanna arc predictions

  • The mysterious blonde girl who says 'I like it' will be named. She is...
    • Amethyst, Princess of Gem World
    • Another Lord of Order
    • Another Lord of Chaos
      • Confirmed, as it is Child.
  • Zatanna will meet a young empath in need of help named Raven
    • Jossed
  • Zatanna will team up with Jason Blood to stop a demonic incursion.
    • Confirmed
  • Khalid Nassour will take up the Helmet of Fate following the death of Zatara-Fate.
    • Confirmed, though only as a rotating host, and Zatara doesn't die.
  • John Constantine will make an appearance
    • Jossed.
  • Wotan will succeed Klarion on the Light.
    • Jossed, as Klarion survives the arc and keeps his seat.
  • Mary will say "Shazam" and become Sergeant Marvel again as a last resort against the Child.
    • While she doesn't do so against Child, she does fall back in on the habit at the end.
  • The Lords of Chaos will be weakened and scattered around the Earth by Child's defeat, empowering heroes and villains alike.
    • Jossed.

Future Arcs (Rocket, Nightwing, and Kaldur's arcs) of Season 4
  • Rocket will inherit the title of 'Icon', as was the case in the comics.
  • Focus on the dynamics of being a mother and a hero at the same time for Rocket.
  • Nightwing will have to contend with a Batman whose getting close to his 50's and the specter of a 'New Batman' will rise.
  • Kaldur will have a reckoning with Amanda Waller over the Suicide Squad and its use of his father as a member. As each arc has dealt heavily with family (M'gann's family, Cheshire and the Shiva/Cassandra mess, Zatara/Zatanna, the Kents, and Savages) the arcs will probably have something to do with family in general plus dangling points from season 3, and the Sucide Squad and Black Manta are Kaldur's.
  • The Court of Owls for Dick, whose family is tied up in the mess. Curiously 'Rick Grayson, Dick's uncle from the companion comic, did survive too, but was gravely injured. Talon candidate?
    • The true arcs for the three are that Kaldur returns to Atlantis as a prophecy stirs, Rocket is deployed to New Genesis while Lor-Zod is revealed, and Nightwing rallies the Team to save Superboy and stop General Zod.

The bus of screaming children is connected to the Lords of Chaos
  • The bus randomly getting in the hero's way was just a running gag, but it's appearance in space and the end credits of "Teg Ydaer!" show that it is something more. The bus is either a scout for the Lords of Chaos, or something they did for fun.
    • Confirmed. Klarion was using it as a vessel to find heroes that could help him stop Child.
    • It turns out it's been sort of a running gag since at least as early as season 1. Due to Klarion accidentally abducting it from 10 years ago.

The Child will be defeated by a newly introduced Firestorm
His powers would be highly effective in helping defeat Flaw.
  • Jossed, Traci destroys Flaw.

Sergeant Marvel will become an Anti-Hero.
And an Unwitting Pawn for Darkseid.
  • Confirmed somewhat. She is corrupted by Granny Goodness at the end of Zatanna's arc, and in the final episode of the season, is officially shown as Black Mary.

There'll be an episode which will involve the team having an intervention for Beast Boy.
  • Confirmed as of S4E16, "Emergency Dive."

Zatanna is more involved with Nightwing and Kaldur's schemes than we first thought

Her Wham Line of not answering Khalid's question about her almost Dick or Kaldur-level plan against her enemy (Fate in this case versus the Light) makes one wonder if she might have been more involved in them than 'gave Dick that disguise charm for Artemis in exchange for possibly a sex favor' that was implied. She might have not needed the 'trade', and was probably in on the Anti-Light plan of season 3.

Miss Martian is pregnant with her and Conner's child
On a 1/5/2022 answer to a question he called if Martians lay eggs or have live births a spoiler while also making it clear he hadn't really thought about how other races, like Thanagarians and Reach, reproduce. Why would he need to think about that unless it was relevant?

Connor is trapped in the Phantom Zone
  • Not yet explicitly confirmed, but his screentime in S4 Episodes 14-16 certainly lends itself to this interpretation.
  • Confirmed in "Beyond the Grip of the Gods".

Wyynde will betray Kaldur's trust in the climax of the latter's arc.
  • S4E14, "Nautical Twilight", explicitly reminds viewers that Wyynde was once an Atlantean Purist allied with Ocean-Master before he rehabilitated himself and joined the good guys. If he's gone bad once...
  • S4E15, "Ebb Tide," seems to reveal the identity of the mysterious Hooded Stranger as Arion, the first, immortal ruler of Atlantis and grandson of Vandal Savage. Said Hooded Stranger, furthermore, also seems to be tied to an Atlantean prophecy foretelling a new ruler of Atlantis from its ancient past. Given Wyynde's past as a purist, it would make sense for him to be drawn to someone prophesied to restore Atlantis to its former glory, thus putting him at odds with Kaldur and King Orin.
  • S4E16, "Emergency Dive," observes Wynnde's resemblance to a statue found in ancient Atlantis' ruins. In response, Wyynde confirms that he is a direct descendant of one of Atlantis' first, ancient residents. This provides a possible point of connection between Wyynde and Arion, as both have ties to ancient Atlantis.
    • The statue and Wyynde's ancestry allude to the fact that the original Wyynde and Arion characters of DC Comics were best friends.
  • In light of the concern he expresses for Kaldur at the beginning of the latter's arc, the betrayal won't involve Wyynde having lied to Kaldur about loving him. Rather, Wyynde will claim that he is betraying King Orin and siding with Arion for Kaldur's sake, because he believes Orin is abusing Kaldur's trust to uphold a false Atlantis. So, not "I never loved you!", but "I did this for us!"
  • Ultimately averted as of the last episode of Kaldur's arc, S4E17's "Leviathan Wakes." Apparently the allusions to Wynde's past in S4E14 were just meant to introduce the character to audiences unfamiliar with him. Similarly, the connection between Wynde and Arion highlighted in episodes 14-15 is only meant to be an Easter egg for DC Comics fans who know the two's history.
The prophecy is already off the rails.
  • It called for three people to stop the red water, but there were four: Kaldur, Mera, Ocean Master, and Arion. Kaldur was mostly focused on keeping Mera safe while she worked, but she would have died without him.

The final episode of the season will include a major event set on July 4th
This will be the tenth anniversary of the beginning of The Team, so it's only fitting that some sort of tribute is made.
  • The Team and/or The Light are revealed to the world.
  • Kid Flash escapes from the Speed Force.
  • Darkseid starts his invasion.
  • Miss Martian learns she's pregnant.
    • Jossed as the season ultimately goes way beyond July and ends in September. All of the above never happens.

Wally isn't dead, he's in the Phantom Zone with Conner
All of Conner's other hallucinations are in full color, his hallucination of Wally is the only one that's got the weird inverted colors. Coincidence?
  • This could just be Greg Weisman messing around with Wally's fans, however. Especially jossed when actual living prisoners in the zone are in the same hallucinatory style.

The New Gods are dead by the time of the Legion
They 'found' the Projector on New Genesis. They didn't get given it, bought it, stole it, etc. They 'found' it. The series may take some inspiration from The Great Darkness Saga, where the New Gods are all but extinct by their era. Why this is could be any reason: maybe Savage won their bet, though this fact is certainly on Darkseid's mind. This may be part of why he made a pact with Lor-Zod, to see if he can avoid that future and still rule in the 31st century, and ideally, beyond.

Tomar-Re will release the Phantom Zone prisoners

Jonathan Kent will be a new influence for inspiring the Legion of Super-Heroes into existence in the season 4 finale
  • If Connor still loyal to the House of Zod even after M’gann restores his mind or not, and Superman gets killed by Superboy to prove his loyalty to the House of Zod, Superman’s son will be the only suitable candidate for the Legion of Super-Heroes to exist.
    • Jossed. Superman survives, Conner has his mind fully restored, and both of them fight/defeat the Zods. The Legion also indicate that Conner is still the main inspiration when he asks why he was so important.

Zvaid will persuade Perdita to marry or fell in love with Brion as a sign of co-existence between the two countries
  • Since Garfield is not ready to talk to his ex-girlfriend out of guilt, Zvaid will have opportunities to use his powers on Perdita and makes her believe Brion is a good match for her. When Garfield is ready to talk to his ex, he will try to apologize for his actions and wants to get back together, but Perdita bitterly rejected him.

    Future seasons
Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire will eventually appear in this show.
Just to complete the classic roster of the Teen Titans (as we know them from the 2003 cartoon and its 2013 spinoff). Though of course, there are still plenty of questions as to how they'll fit into the Young Justice continuity and storyline. And of course, whether Cyborg would be part of "The Team" or the Justice League in this universe.
  • We got some mention of the Stones (Cyborg's family), so that just leaves the girls.
  • As an addendum, if Raven appears, Trigon will follow suit, and will either serve as an Arc Villain like the Reach, or even take over as the full-time Big Bad if the Light/Apokolips plot is indeed resolved (i.e. Vandal Savage and Darkseid are defeated) in Outsiders.
    • If Trigon does serve as a season villain, the show could focus heavily on more magical elements of the DC Universe in contrast to the sci-fi heavy Season 3, with appearances from characters like John Constantine, Deadman, Etrigan, Swamp Thing, Black Orchid, etc.
    • Season 4 does feature some magic, but only limited to the scope of Zatanna's arc. That includes Etrigan's debut in that same season.
  • Starfire will be portrayed as a prisoner of Apokolips, tying her into the main plot. She will be significantly different from other adaptations of the character, having a somewhat more serious personality, having her hair be curly, her outfit very daring and exposing (they are more open about things like sex now), and be voiced by someone other than Hynden Walch. She will be attracted to Dick, but she'll gain a different Love Interest if they really want her to be with somebody.

Supergirl will eventually appear in this show.
For a TV series that's filled with all sorts of DC characters, it's odd that one of the better known members of the Superman cast has yet to show up. Obviously, she would develop some kind of interpersonal relationship with Superboy and Superman.
  • If she does appear in Season 3, she'd appear in or around "First Impression", the 17th episode of the season. It's the only episode title that really fits for such a scenario in the season.
  • If she doesn't appear in Season 3, she'll be introduced in Season 4, possibly after another Time Skip.
  • She'll operate separate from the Team or the Outsiders.
    • Confirmed. She is a Female Fury seen in the final scene of season 4.

Terry McGinnis will (somehow) make a cameo appearance.
Whether by means of Time Travel (or at least a Flash Forward), which shows a future world where this guy becomes the latest Batman.
  • Well, the show has been showing Damian Wayne, Jon Kent, the Tornado Twins; so the possibility of Terry making a cameo, seems more and more likely...
  • Bonus points: His Robin is Carrie Kelley, a popular fan-theory.
  • Terry will travel back in time as part of an adaption of The New 52: Futures End.

Starman will appear.
Two key characters to the story of the Jack Knight Starman, Mist and Shade, debuted in Season 3. If he'd be a character for Season 3 or 4 is unclear, but we could see Starmen of some sort in time.

Beast Boy will eventually explore the mystical origins of his powers.
It would go into the Animal Man's mythos of "The Red", though hopefully he would not turn red this time.

Future seasons will have a theme that will influence the plot and what characters will appear
Some ideas for how this could go include:
  • A cosmic season
    • The main plot will be about the different color Lantern Corps rising.
    • Sinestro will form an alliance with the Light to harness the Yellow Light of Fear in exchange for assisting them but his ego will lead him to betray their deal and he'll attack Earth with the Sinestro Corp because of how dangerous a mere handful of humans proved to be to the cosmos.
    • Atrocitus will be the first to harness another color - the Red Light of Rage. He'll attack the Green Lanterns and reveal several past errors of the Corp, being put in a similar situation to the League following Rimbor. Bonus points if his use of a different colored light inspires Sinestro to seek his own and that his revealing Corp secrets leads to Sinestro's Face–Heel Turn.
    • Carol Ferris will become a Star Sapphire, chosen by the Zamarons to help start their own Corps that will aid the Green Lanterns.
    • Ganthet will start the Blue Lantern Corps, looking to bolster the Green Lanterns because of how the cosmos have been thrown into disarray by the Light's actions.
    • Larfleeze will appear, having been drawn by the appearance of new Lantern colors that he seeks to claim for his own.
    • The Indigo Tribe will appear as enigmatic allies to the Green Lanterns, either appearing before the Guardians or Hal Jordan and mentioning Abin Sur's role in their creation.
    • Kyle Rayner will be recruited to the Corps and at some point will wield a different colored ring while a member leading to his own quest to harness all of the Emotional Spectrum and eventually the White Light of Life which will be needed because...
    • Nekron will appear summoned by either the Light or Sinestro getting in over their heads in their power plays.
    • Starfire will appear as an escaped prisoner of the Citadel who meets the Team while their on a mission on an alien planet.
    • The Omega Men will appear as freedom fighters against the Citadel, which is trying to push into Earth's galaxy to claim control of Earth's metahumans. Starfire could be a member in this version and either leaves them of her volition because of growing enamored with Earth or at their prompting so she can have more of a life than they can give her.
    • Supergirl will appear, her rocket being discovered in space by the League. The engines were damaged but she was in stasis and she will be brought to Earth.
    • Thanagar will appear, which will reveal more backstory on the Hawks and also reveal details about Nth metal which could lead to hints of the Dark Multiverse.
    • Space Ghost will appear having been summoned by the chaos throughout the cosmos caused by the Light. He'll either be an ally of the League if he can depart for his homebase once all is said and done or he'll join as a member if he's thrown there by unknown circumstances and can't return home.
      • Rocket's arc in season 4 has extensive Green Lantern focus and a guest appearance from Razer, with Broad Strokes hints that some Green Lantern: The Animated Series events may have happened. This ultimately means the Red and Blue Lantern Corps already exist, though Razer, Tomar-Re, Kilowog, and a new Green Lantern Bug also named Forager get a lot of development within the confines of the season.
  • A magic season
    • The main arc will be the looming threat of Trigon arriving on Earth.
    • Raven will appear as she did in the comics, beseeching the League for aid only to be turned away by hiding her powers and heritage. Nightwing will step up and help her with his own team if this is the case.
    • John Constantine will appear working to prevent Trigon's arrival and may have a hand in the League turning Raven away. Zatara through Fate will mention having worked with Constantine before.
    • Hawk and Dove will appear through the Lords of Order and Chaos fearing Trigon's arrival enough that they decide to work together and empower equal avatars to fight against him. Don Hall will either be dead from prior or killed while fighting, leaving Dawn Granger to take the role of Dove.
    • Swamp Thing will appear as an uneasy ally of Constantine who is helping him against Trigon but questions his methods and is only working with him because of the Green's influence. He'll help Beast Boy learn more about the mythic nature of his powers.
    • Etrigan will appear with Jason Blood as a Gotham resident who is looking to prevent Trigon's arrival but is much more measured than Constantine would be about it.
    • Ragman will appear as a well meaning soul in Gotham who gains his powers either as he normally does or because of Etrigan's actions.
    • Princess Amethyst will appear with the Team getting drawn into Gemworld because of unforeseen magical trouble and she will join them on Earth in the interest of fostering good relations between their realms.
    • Birdman will appear and join the Justice League. His powers do come from Ra, the Egyptian Sun God, so his abilities are technically mystical in nature.
      • Zatanna's arc in season 4 is magic focused, but with Child as the threat instead of Trigon. Etrigan is definitely confirmed to appear in it, however.
  • A political/espionage season
    • The main arc will be about different countries around the globe creating their own Super Team, which will lead to tensions because of fears of about preemptive meta attacks.
    • Several alien worlds will start sending representatives to Earth in the interest of creating an intergalactic alliance or possibly the beginnings of a United Planets. This will also raise tensions because of how most alien interactions have gone on Earth.
    • Firestorm will be created as the usual gesalt of Ronnie Raymond and Professor Stein.
    • Deadshot will appear. He showed up in the comics but hasn't appeared in the show. He'll be a member of the Suicide Squad who is eventually able to escape and joins the Secret Six.
      • Deadshot was in the tie-in comics as an assassin employed by Queen Bee, so he is jossed, though joining the Suicide Squad might not entirely be ruled out.
    • The Freedom Fighters will appear as the United States own Super Team.
    • China's Super Team will be either The Great Ten or the Justice League of China.
    • There will be a Doom Patrol sub-plot where Beast Boy is approached by Celsius about finding them and she reveals that she saved Robotman in order to convince them. It will be shown that the Brain or the Light have kept them prisoners ever since their supposed deaths.
    • Jonny Quest will appear with his father as a scientist researching the metagene who also works with the United States government against terrorist groups.
    • Frankenstein Jr. and the Impossibles will appear as operatives of the United States government.
  • A time travel season
    • The main arc will be about a time-travelling super villain (likely Chronos or Per Degaton) who is traversing history in order to collect certain items for an unknown plan. They will opposed by Rip Hunter in the Waverider who recruits heroes based on the era he will be going to.
    • The World War II era won't just feature the Justice Society but also other wartime characters such as Sgt. Rock, the Blackhawks, G.I. Robot, and the Creature Commandos.
      • The Blackhawks will be based on their first incarnation of the team, with some alterations; Blackhawk will be kept Polish, Chop Chop will be based on one of his later, politically correct reimagined incarnations (a very justified decision for any adaptation of the team), and Chuck will be Italian-American like he is Post-Crisis.
      • Sgt. Rock, in a reference to the unmade movie, will be German-American, and speak German to lure a Nazi into a very brutal, blood spilling track.
    • There will be a visit to the western era that features Jonah Hex.
    • A visit to the future will reveal the Legion of Superheroes.
    • Michael Holt will become Mr. Terrific through his intellect and mechanical expertise making him indispensable against the enemy.
    • Courtney Whitmore will discover her stepdad once worked with the Justice Society and be inspired to become Stargirl.
      • Season 4 does feature a time travel story, but Stargirl becomes a hero prior to the events of the season.
    • A visit to prehistoric times will cause Mightor's club to be sent to present day where it will be wielded anew.
    • Vandal Savage will be a recurring character, being involved in multiple historical events over the millennia, and repeatedly (coincidentally) encountering the time-traveling heroes and villains.
      • Season 4 itself is a time travel story, but for a very different reason from the above. The Legion of Super-Heroes came back in time to stop the death of Superboy from the machinations of Lor-Zod, revamped as a rogue time traveller. The season then changes course to Superboy becoming stranded in the Phantom Zone with Phantom Girl, being molded into joining General Zod (whose defeat by the Legion is what Lor-Zod was trying to prevent), and ultimately, Lor-Zod managing to free him from the Phantom Zone.
  • A multiverse season
    • The main arc will be Lex Luthor pursuing hidden forces that exist throughout the multiverse and inadvertently opening ways into parallel Earths.
    • A side effect of Luthor's plans will be the discovery of the transformative effect dark matter has on not just humans but also anything it comes in contact with which will kickstart a new arms race on not just Earth but among the galaxy.
    • The Speed Force will be unlocked, allowing Wally West to return to life.
    • Luthor's actions will bring the Dark Knights to his Earth.
    • The New Age DC Heroes will appear
    • One of the worlds accessed will be a Funny Animal world that has not only the Zoo Crew but also the Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera's stable of characters.
    • What's a multiverse season without the most important Multiversal threat possible? The Anti-monitor will be disturbed, causing a multi episode crisis forcing ALL factions to unite to save the universe.

Supergirl was taken by Apokolips.
Taking from "The Supergirl From Krypton"/Superman/Batman: Apocalypse story, Darkseid became interested in her as a member of the Female Furies and ended up taking her captive.
  • It takes season 4 to officially reveal that Supergirl joined the Female Furies, but rather than brainwashed, she joins willingly after Vandal Savage rounds her up with the other Kryptonians and hands her to Darkseid.

Hal will have Parallax problems
He has the gray temple hair in Season 3.

Having Granny Goodness on the Light is going to backfire for them later.
Granny is given too much free reign by the other members of the Light. Remember that Granny Goodness serves Darkseid above all else and much like how the Light undermined the Reach, Darkseid could use Granny to undermine the Light. This includes Tara Markov whom this troper thinks is a pawn of Granny and is going to betray both the Light and the Outsiders. True the other members of the Light are extremely intelligent and skilled puppetmasters but the New Gods were always on a different level than even them.
  • Ultimately Jossed. Granny makes an attempt, but she's the one who gets screwed over in the end.

Jason Todd's return will happen during the time skip between seasons 3 and 4
Like the previous Bat Family crises: Jason's death and Barbara's paralysis.

Harper's little brother being named Colin will lead to him being the show's version of Abuse, via Adaptation Name Change
Especially given their abusive father and Damien's appearance.
  • Jossed, Cullen and Harper are adopted by Snapper Carr prior to season 4, so Cullen never turns evil now that he has a healthy family.

The Daemonites are going to become the Arc Villain for a future season
The creators did have plans to use Wildstorm characters before cancellation and Daemonites would fit in perfectly with the themes and concepts of the series.

Khalid Nassar will appear, and take over as Doctor Fate.
He'll be introduced as a medical student with mystic affinity. When he gets involved with the heroes, he'll have a talk with Nabu (bonus points if he's the first one to be brave enough to give the Lord of Order a "The Reason You Suck" Speech); consequently, Khalid will retain control even as Doctor Fate while Nabu becomes his mystic Voice with an Internet Connection. All in all, this will wrap up the subplot of Zatanna, her father and said father being the host of Doctor Fate.
  • Semi-confirmed as of the Zatanna arc in Season 4, albeit not exactly the same way.
The time skip between Seasons 4 & 5 will be roughly ten years, possibly more.
  • The Legion seems to think that Superboy will perform a great deed that will change the course of their history in ten years, so naturally it would make sense for the show to reach that moment and reveal what that deed is.
  • The show has introduced the characters of Damian Wayne and Jon Kent as babies. In the comics, both of them began their heroic careers as ten-year-olds.
  • The show has also set up characters like Lian Nguyen-Harper, Rhea Beecher-Duncan, Don and Dawn Allen, Amistad Ervin, Artur, and La'gaan’s currently-unnamed child. In other words, there are already several characters to form a new generational team with.

Season 5 will start almost immediately after Season 4
The timeskips get shorter between each season, 5 years in Invasion, 2 years in Outsiders, and 1 year in Phantoms. So by that progression, the next timeskip will be a few months. It will also be the last season to show the Klarion bus gag where it was seen by Big Barda in Apokolips a year after Phantoms.

The Light would have given Darkseid any Kryptonian but Kara if they knew who she was

It seems very odd that The Light would have easily parted with something that could be as useful a means of manipulating Clark and Conner as a living El. They all but certainly missed that part when Darkseid requested one as tribute.

New Krypton will be an arc in the future

It is one of two things you can do with a ton of Kryptonians

The Light will create Doomsday

The other is to go movie verse and mutate one of them into Doomsday.

Darkseid will remove the White Martians telepathy and telekinesis

Durlans like Chameleon Boy notably do not have the ability to levitate and do talk with their mouths unlike the White Martians settled on Durla by Darkseid. Also notably, is that the comic Martians used to be a lot stronger than they are in the present day, being reduced to telekinetic Superman level threats by the Guardians stripping them of several of their abilities for the sake of the universe. Darkseid, who has separate comic history with Mars (it was from them he learned about the Life Equation, which inspired him to find the Anti-Life Equation as its opposite number), may take from that plotline and strip the White Martians of several of their powers. Maybe as an experiment to depower humans, maybe he wants to punish them, maybe because he gets bored.
