Taki and Makie's child is Yusuke Urameshi.

Makie is a descendant of the demon Raizen, and she and Taki tried to raise Yusuke themselves, but they were killed in order to upend the human/demon peace treaty. Fortunately, someone intervened and arranged for Yusuke to be adopted by his canon mother. His heritage ended up putting him on a shortlist for the next Spirit Detective and the rest is history.
