By Series Two the media is less involved but still there, but by Series 3 there are a series of massacres with zero media attention. And how no-one ever confronts the team about all of their murderers dyingSo, my terrible theory is that either after Series One or Series Two the Whitechapel (TV Series) universe spilt from our own, becoming darker and more brutal, maybe more militant, where mass murders are more common, their are new gass lights in London and the deaths of murderers are seen as justice
