Val might be the spirit of Valerie MacNeil, and the Virtual Analysis Line program could be Donovan's way of keeping his wife's memory alive at the cost of potentially traumatizing TeleBlue subscribers.

Why does Val mainly affect cartoon channels? Or at the very least cartoon programming blocks.
In life, Valerie MacNeil was a massive cartoon enthusiast, probably owning very rare animation cells from various cartoons.
Possible Anomalies.
- Indiana Joe from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show could be given a face in an second April Fools anomaly.
- How would other games tie into it if all we are shown so far is Super Mario World becoming the MARIO creepypasta, Super Mario 64 attempting to load the beta instead and getting stopped by Stanley/The Personalization AI, and Doom just using it's beta and the music from the 32X version? Would Sonic become something more like Sonic.EXE or some variant of the story? Would Street Fighter II just be Super Turbo but in the style of Street Fighter II': Champion Edition? Would Mega Man X be like the Red Cartridge creepypasta?
