Story predictions

    Pomefiore Chapter theories
Vil will Overblot for reasons involving his rival or Epel.
  • There's a chance that Vil will Overblot for multiple reasons:
    • The failed attempt to cheat and poison Neige Leblanche.
    • Someone in the crowd or his dorm calls him ugly or says he will never be as beautiful as Neige.
    • Epel publicly exposes Vil's cruelty towards his dorm and the other students at the VDC.
    • Somewhat confirmed. Vil actually performed fairly but only attempted to poison Neige before the actual performance starts, Rook and Kalim preventing him from poisoning Neige being the reason Vil snapped.

Vil's Overbolt will be based off his the Evil Queen herself or her hag form
  • Back in Chapter 4, Jamil's Overbolt was based off of Jafar's genie instead of Jafar's original form, there's a chance Vil's Overbolt will be based off his the Evil Queen herself or her hag's form.
    • Confirmed to be a mixture of both. Vil's overblot form mainly represents the Evil Queen's hag form while still having the crown of the original queen.

Vil's Deadly Sin will be revealed.
  • Vil's Deadly Sin is Pride since he's very prideful about his looks and beauty. He even tries to make every member of Pomefiore look beautiful despite their protests.
    • Confirmed.

Vil and Neige share a history together.
  • Vil is either Neige's stepbrother or half-brother, or they attended the same school before Vil attended Night Raven College.
    • Somewhat confirmed. Vil and Neige are co-workers.

    Ignihyde Chapter theories
The Ignihyde chapter will be related or has some elements from Hercules
  • Idia has deathly or dark Unique Magic that takes people's souls similar how Hade is the ruler of the Underworld.
  • Idia has heritage Unique Magic that bring misfortures around him. (This may explain why he doesn't want to appear in-person)
  • A character who is a twisted version of Hercules share a connection to Idia and will make an appearance.
  • Ortho's backstory will be reveal.
  • Someone or one of the major characters (Ace, Deuce, Grim) has their soul stolen from one of the students from Ignihyde dormitory.
  • Jossed. The story setting is not in Ignihyde's dorm.

Ortho was either originally human or he was created to be Idia's companion and replacement of his deceased sibling
  • In Idia's SSR Birthday Suit Up personal story, he mentions he knew Ortho since he was a child.
    • It implies Ortho was originally Idia's brother before turning into a machine due to unfortunately accident that traumatized Idia. Unless Idia created Ortho to have someone to talk to and get along with.
    • Ortho is actually based on Idia's dead brother with the same name.
    • Confirmed, the Ortho players know is created in the image of the original Ortho Shroud who has overblotted years ago.

Yuu's fate will be revealed in the Ignihyde chapter
  • After Yuu was attack by hostile Grimm, it is unknown if they survive or not.
    • The first part of Chapter 6 will picked up from Chapter 5 finale and someone save Yuu from certain death.
    • Yuu, who is at the brink of death after being fatally wound by Grimm, Malleus will uses a healing or time magic to stop the bleeding and heal their injuries.
    • Yuu went comatose from their injuries and they will inactive for the first half of Ignihyde chapter. This leads Ace and Deuce to be involved and help Ignihyde dominatory. Somehow Yuu's soul end up on the other side of Mickey's world and Yuu need to find a way to return to their body.
    • Yuu wake up in the Ramshackle Dorm after they have a vision from a scene of Hercules. They will be confuse whether the night where Grim attacked them was real or a dream.
    • Yuu wake up in the infirmary, who is still injury, but they lose part of their memories from last night of Chapter 5.
      • Semi-Confirmed. Yuu survived Grim's attack and regain conscious in the Ramshackle Dorm, but they remember everything before they black out from their injuries. It's unknown who carry Yuu back to the dorm, but it implies Malleus was the one who found them and heal their serious injuries.

Idia's Deadly Sin will be revealed.
  • Unlike the previous five overblot victims, Idia's Deadly Sin is Despair (the eighth sin) since he has a gloomy, depress and sadden personality. He refuses to socialize and be friends with people in-person and prefers to stay in his room. The reason why his deadly sin is Despair is because the other sins: Gluttony and Lust don't list his character traits.
    • Confirmed.
  • Or his Deadly Sin could be Gluttony. This sin, while most associated with overeating, actually refers to the over-consumption of anything. So Idia, who indulges in his hobbies and personal desires to the point that it hampers his duties and personal life could be guilty of "Gluttony".
    • Jossed.

Idia will Overblot involves Ortho getting hurt, half destroyed, Ortho learn the truth or fail to overthrow his parents' organiaztion
  • There's a chance that Idia will Overblot for multiple reasons:
    • Ortho gets hurt by accident which causes Idia to experience a trauma memory of his real brother's tragic accident.
    • Ortho learning the truth that he's actually based on his dead brother.
    • Idia's plans to overthrow his parents' business fail and his test subjects: Riddle, Leona, Azul, Jamil and Vil escaped.
      • Jossed.

The end of Episode 6 will have a cliffhanger, downer, or bittersweet ending before the Diasomnia preview
  • If it ends up in a cliffhanger, it will end up with Grim devouring Phantom Ortho and transforming into Chimera Phantom from the prologue.
  • If ends up as a downer ending, it will end up with every dangerous Phantom released into the world along with a high amount of blots.
  • If ends up as a bittersweet ending, Idia changes back to normal and fully accepts his brother’s demise and prevents the high amounts of blots and Phantoms from releasing the world. However, Grim ends up devouring Phantom Ortho, Idia’s crystal of blots and turns into a chimera phantom.
    • Semi-confirmed.

    Diasomnia Chapter theories
Silver’s backstory will be one of the important plots in the Diasomnia chapter
  • There is a chance Silver’s backstory will be revealed since there is a chance he is either come from the same world as Yuu or was abandoned by his parents due to the curse he was placed upon since birth.
  • Silver has a twin brother who is a Royal Sword Academy student he never met before. The reason Silver never got a chance to meet his twin brother last year was that he had been sleeping or too busy helping out Lilia and Malleus.
  • Semi-Confirmed in the harshest way possible. Silver is the son of Lilia's enemy, the Dawn Knight and had been put to stasis by the fairies blessing his father to protect him. Unfortunately, by the time Lilia found Silver, the country the Dawn Knight came from is annexed and there's nobody for Silver to return to.

Lilia is secretly dying
  • It is due to Lilia living longer even before Malleus was born, his lifespan starts to shorten from old age. There is why he keeps this secret from Malleus and Silver because he does not want them to worry about him.

Malleus will do anything to keep Yuu from leaving him
  • When Malleus overheard Crowley has found a way to return Yuu to their original world, he will fell into depression and becomes determined to keep Yuu from leaving him.
    • He will either keep Yuu locked up in his dormitory or put them into eternal sleep so they will never age or wake up again.
    • Semi-confirmed. Yuu did put to sleep by Malleus, but he put the entire Sage Island population into eternal sleep for 1000 years.

The third part of Chapter 7 will be the dream arc
  • Yuu will be the first to realize they are trapped in an eternal dream and they need to find a way out.
    • Confirmed.

Characters and enemies theories

    Character theories
Jack Howl is based on:
Lilia will be revealed to be some kind of Vampire
  • He already has many traits associated with Vampirism.
  • It could be that he’s just another fae like Malleus and Sebek with vampire motifs because Yana Toboso wanted a token vampire-ish character ala Rei Sakuma from Ensemble Stars! who he has a lot in common with, but I personally think it would be far more interesting if he was actually some kind of vampire. To my knowledge there are no vampire in Sleeping Beauty but Jack sets an example of being a character thats not twisted from the original Disney property his dorm is associated, so Lilia not being twisted from Sleeping Beauty could work. Vampires have also shown up in Disney works before.
  • The Bat image at his coffin would imply that he is twisted from Maleficent's bats and that would make him a bat Fae. Bats do pop up around when Lilia is picked for the in-game lessons.

Malleus is actually based off of Maleficent's dragon form, while Lilia is based off of Maleficent's normal form.
  • Malleus may be the dorm leader, but everyone actually looks up to Lilia. Lilia is the oldest fae and is seen as a father figure to some of them. And there's a few other things that lend credibility to this.
    • Malleus is a dragon fae, while Lilia is an unspecified type.
    • Lilia dyed his underlying hair pink. Maleficent has bits of pink throughout her design, such as beneath her robes and on her lips.
    • Lilia has known Malleus since he was born. Maleficent mainly appears in her normal form throughout the entire movie until the climax with Philip.
    • The live action movies have Maleficent be a mother figure to Aurora. Silver, who is teased to be based off Aurora, views Lilia as his father.
      • And keep in mind, while the franchise does lean heavily onto the animated canon, they also try to give the villains good points as opposed to simply painting them as pure evil (i.e. Queen of Hearts bringing order to Wonderland).

Sebek and Trey are cousins.
They both have green hair and amber eyes (albeit of different hues), and Trey even reminds Sebek of his human father.

Crowley is Malleus' Disappeared Dad Leverne.
A) The headmaster is most likely twisted from Diablo, Maleficent's henchbird (and love interest in Maleficent), which would demand a connection to Malleus. B) "Leverne/Levan" sounds like a corruption of "Raven", Crowley's animal motif. C) His voice beckons to a "most beautiful queen" in the opening animation. It is possible he is referring to Malleus' late mother Malenoar, and seeks to perform some kind of resurrection for her.

    Phantom theories
The boss in the prologue is Overblot!Grim.
  • Thinking back, the boss looks rather like a larger Grim, and its features are a mix-and-match combination of those of the Overblot victims, such as Azul's tentacles, Jamil's snake hair and Riddle's rose thorns.
    • This is gaining more evidence by Chapter 4 with Grim murmuring about wanting to eat more of the Overblot stones with Dull Eyes of Unhappiness, looking like he is brainwashed.
    • Confirmed in Chapter 5 finale where Yuu has a vision of the black carriage and overblotted Grim.

Other theories

    Future chapter theories
  • Crowley hides his scheming and has the same characteristics/skills as the Phantom Blot, from manipulation to blackmail. He is able to lie and spy and makes false assumptions on people for triggering them with negative feelings to take control over them with his magic. (overblot) He wants to take revenge on Villains/Mickey/Dreams like Evil Queen and Maleficient in his own way to have finally a happily ever after.
    • Phantom blot aka the twisted version of Walt Disney, was the mastermind and makes his plan like a disney script/movie/play, where he tells the story of the different movies by showing visions to yuu in the mirror. Whose villains lose control as we get closer to the end of the movie. He sets up psychological traps to trigger them and increase their negative energies in their hearts to the point of rage that he will possess them soon after, to obtain the power of the great seven contained in a black stone. And gets defeated because of yuu/grim, (who is the hero/heroine.) in isolated places so that no one suspects. Also, Crowley pushes grim to eat the black stones so that he is the ultimate villain to defeat and that he is getting all the powers contained in Grim at the end (which he could be dropping a rainbow stone after his defeat). In such a way PB will finally become again the phantom rainbow and will try to steal the heart of Mickey to take revenge and conquer the world.
    • Technically, like Malleus overblot, it trapped all the inhabitants of the world in dreams during the great disaster, which explains many of the phantom blot patterns concealed in the characters' clothing, as well as the phantoms Silver can detect. It deftly manipulated historical narratives to its advantage as Lilia said in chapter 6 ( While avoiding the idia family's involvement and uses Malleus as a scapegoat for his plan and give the blame to the Silver Owls. ). That’s why the game was called Twisted Wonderland.
    • In chapter 6, Phantom Blot pretends to be one of the members of S.T.Y.X and gives the I.D card to Yuu/Rook/Epel after the attack of the armors of Charon as well as the access to Tartarus with the explanations, a little later, under another member of S.T.Y.X. . Also, he's the one who hacked Ortho.
    • Phantom Blot represents and reflects/ was connected to all Night Raven College students/professors but also all the villains of the game. Like a mirror.
    • At the end of the main story, he will have a statue next to the other villains.
  • It could have many hidden details and interpretations during events too :
    • During the Happy Beans Days/Beanfest events, the field in this game is considered a chessboard for Phantom Blot. Indeed, his team is the one with yuu and grim. He confronts/calculates many enemies (including his own dorm members) to reach the object/goal he desires.
    • Fairy Gala and Ghost Marriage/Bride and Tsumsed are events where there are interfering characters that get in the way of his plan and ask his students to manage that situation (which allows him to develop them psychologically).
    • The Training camps/Exams and Masterchefs allow him to strengthen his student's hearts to face all obstacles but mostly overblot!grim.
    • In Wish Upon a Star, Blot seeks to take their energies from their hearts with his items and prepare Idia for this event to increase the power and gained these energies (?). But Idia reversed this and created real shooting stars whose all wishes will come true.
    • The birthday events are an easy way for phantom blot, in fact, it allows him to have photos of his happy students with filled stomachs, give gifts, answer his questions and give them a pie in the face.
    • In Vargas Camp, he tries to eliminate fairies on his path while collecting natural gems/rock salts and strengthening his students with his procedure (and giving his own instructions to Ashton), also he disguises himself as the Miner phantom from the prologue for makes them believe that they are natural enemies.
    • Scalding Sands is an event where its members (Trey and Cater) collect/buy items for their plan.
    • In New Year Sale, he tries to create riots and disputes to place fortune cookies to his advantage.
    • Scary Monsters is the tensest part for him, he tries to lure all the foreign ghosts (magicam monsters) that approach his territory and make them leave to have a clear path during the night (2nd event). In the second event, he asked the ghosts of his team to make Lilia and Malleus come to their territory for making the party and so to kidnap some members of all their dorms in that way to thus collect the shards during the path. Leona had explained what he wanted to do with them but phantom blot changed his strategy/plan and made a chandelier instead to take the energy/memories of his students.
    • In Port Fest, Crowley only needs to approach the owner of the restaurant where Jack works to join the festival (because they weren't invited). With their food stalls, he lures people to buy them to keep them happy until the final show with Jack so that Crowley takes over the memory of the people in town.
  • Crowley has captured the Disney villains in mirrors and uses them to make worlds and characters. Also, Phantom Blot captures Mickey to create Yuu.
  • The death of his students is not what frightens him more than anything else, but rather his reputation as a criminal and the fact that his grand scheme will fail completely after many attempts. That is why he keeps pushing around his students because he knows that the authorities and/or Mickey will discover the trickery soon and that there is not much time left for him.
  • Crowley changes the hero and selects them as he pleases between each time loop.
  • The ghost camera has the same function as all the students' phones and takes the magic energy from their heart as well he captures the surrounding objects as memory (when the subject is happy). Also, the Magicam app is an invention made by Phantom blot for transfer the data of the pictures. With his device created by him, he does not hesitate to remove/rewritten some information and memory of all his students during their lives especially while they sleep at night. He also does this in particular to avoid the procedure of the river Lethe.
  • Students hearts was bonded with cursed magic gems when connecting with the dark mirror / or wake them to their coffins, allowing PB to take over his students.
    • Crowley has done 100 times (years) with his henchmen the time loop/skip, and 3 times for his real plan (as books and capturing Mickey).
  • Crowley and his team use and manipulate food (especially spices from the school garden and salts from halites in the mountains during Vargas Camp) to strengthen his students hearts or poison/intoxicate them into madness. They use coconut milk to dilute the spices because they have a strong smell/taste but they have difficulty with meat because some students, especially the ones from Savanaclaw, have a powerful sense of smell. Trey uses his unique magic to hide these details. But also with science.
  • Twisted Wonderland world is in Mickey Mind.
  • Phantom Blot uses for 500 years Lilia (it is the twisted form of the Maleficent spell) to put people to sleep.
  • Crowley eats apples from the school trees to regain energy, and black tea to calm his heart.
  • Idia and his family knows of some of his schemes and tries to stop him.
    • Phantom blot steals the stock from Sam to avoid Idia getting new supplies from him.
  • Leona seems to be quite aware during certain events because he sleeps a lot like Silver and try to be alone as much as possible.
  • Phantom blot holds the Ramshackle dorm and manages all the ghosts.
    • His dorm members are Ace/Trey/Cater/Rook/Lilia and formerly their families and are his henchmens.
    • Crowley will betray Ace.
  • The song "Piece of my world" and "Absolutely Beautiful" and "Make a Wish" is written by him and are his point of view.
  • He will reveal his real plans/identity to Yuu and others in the extra chapter.
  • His backstory will have a link to the previous overblots. Especially Riddle, Vil, and Malleus characterized by the sin of wrath, pride and lust.
  • The ones who will stop him from his schemings will be the first years (Deuce/Ace/Epel/Sebek/Jack/Malleus and Yuu/Grim.)
  • His defeat will be a Disney Villain Death but he will not be deceased.
