Spike and Bumblebee will be bonded headmaster style
Spike's suit will serve as a healing unit for his injuries and he can double as Bumblebee's new head. If Bumblebee is revived, he will be upgraded into Goldbug
Daniel Warren Johnson has commented that maybe in the future Bumblebee could be rebuilt, albiet not for a long time. Particularly given that his head would have to be rebuilt from scratch, so it's possible he would be restored as Goldbug. Alternatively, if he appears, Goldbug will be a Decomposite Character like in IDW 1.0
Starscream is not dead, or at the very least will come back in some capacity
Starscream is a character well known for coming back from the dead. And he's still alive, if just barely, when Soundwave kicks him off the edge, as he manages to get out a "no" just before being punted Solutions to the Skywarp
issue Issue 7 reveals that Skywarp is still alive within Teletrann One, and blocking the revival of other Autobots. This is presumably a situation that the Autobots will need to resolve, but the question is how. I have 3 suggestions.- Kill Skywarp; Given his current situation is very much And I Must Scream and he is in the way of reviving their allies, the Autobots might decide to kill Skywarp, perhaps justifying it as euthinasia. However given Optimus is presented as one of the most "All life is sacred" we've had for a while, I'm not sure that's the route he will go.
- Cut a deal; The Autobots may agree to restore Skywarp if he lets them restore his allies. I'm not sure of this one, becasue Skywarp was right there with Starscream in commiting atrocities against the humans, not to mention it may not be possible to restore him anyway.
- Appeal to his anger; Starscream and Soundwave tore him to peices and welded him into Teletrann One and left him to rot. It is possible that the Autobots will appeal to his anger over that, and convince him that the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
- Issue 8 suggests they are going for option 3.
