WMG / The Man from Hong Kong

Go To

In an alternate retelling of GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (mixed in with a bit of Scarface: The World Is Yours), Jack Wilton is the former 007 James Bond.
If you think about it, in an alternate timeline or universe, after his wife Tracy was killed by Blofeld, Bond then reaches his Despair Event Horizon by either resigning in grief from MI6 or being deemed unfit for service by his desire for vengeance, either way leading into a Faceā€“Heel Turn as Bond resorts to violence and brutality. With nothing else left to his name or patriotism, Bond starts out his criminal career by gradually using his former 00 skills as an assassin to become a successful crime lord and moving to Australia, eventually changing his name to Jack Wilton, since Bond died when Tracy was murdered. And it's not entirely possible that some of his assets formerly belonged to Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the man who killed Bond/Wilton's former wife, as the latter would eventually have the resources to track down and avenge Tracy, and take a part of Blofeld's empire.
