The Bits With The Goofy Cops Was Not Merely Meant As Comic Relief
- Instead; It may have been put there to make the movie even more uneasy. These two goofuses were trying to be the Big Damn Heroes that saves those girls and knowing what happening to those two girls while "Chicken Lady" is being a huge JerkAss actually heightens the suspense and sense of dread. The silliness may have been meant....not merely as a "breather"....but as a means of inducing a massive feeling of "Wrong".
