Theo will figure out Nan cheated on him with Guy
There’s a few possibilities he’ll find out, but they might be jossed depending on the tropes the writer decides to apply:- During their wedding night, Theo will realize that Nan isn’t bleeding (a usual sign of loss of virginity. If the series took place during the modern age, it’d be easy for Nan to lie by saying that not everyone has a hymen prior to their first time. But considering the time period, it’ll be assumed that if she isn’t bleeding, that she’s not a virgin.
- Here’s another possibility, but it goes two ways, and can intersect:
- Nan finds out she’s pregnant (maybe a bit longer into it) before her first time. Or if she gets away with hiding it during her “first time” with Theo, she’ll find out but then harbor a secret that Guy is the father. Again, if it took place during the modern time period, there’d be more technology to determine how far Nan is along with access to DNA testing.
- If Nan gets away with Theo catching on to her being far in the pregnancy, when she gives birth, the baby will come out with darker skin. Unless Nan and/or Theo can trace their ancestry to see if they have any dark skinned relatives, then it’s obvious that Theo isn’t the father.
