WMG / The Blue Lagoon

In the newest version The Awakening the presence of the skeleton, the monkey and the panther.The monkey and the panther are not native to that area or to islands in general. I think Dean has it right in that the guy is a smuggler but a smuggler of exotic animals instead of drugs or guns. I also think the monkey killed him not the panther. If it had been the panther the corpse would be more ravaged instead of intact. I think the monkey bit him and gave him a disease. Later the panther worked it's way out of whatever cage it was in but by that time the corpse was too degraded to eat. The panther was probably living off fish and birds until spotting Emma asleep and seeing the opportunity for a larger meal. Truthfully however the monkey was probably the bigger danger to them because of the threat of disease.
