Guilds are the setting's orphanages.
It would explain why most of the protagonists have no visible parents but strong connections to their local Guilds, and why every Guild Tower has beds they let the party use freely.

Multidisciplinary genius? Check. Mastery of Essence (which the AA setting calls Ether) so great that she could create new species with it? Check. Treacherously assassinated by a subordinate? Check. Reincarnated into young hero who's trying to bring back the Golden Age her past self ruled over? Check. All of that is classic Solar.
It also explains why Tiggy is almost an Instant Expert at piloting the Brionac. She made the thing, she just doesn't remember. Similarly, she's so irrationally pissed off at Blue because she feels like he failed her-as-Valerie, and scared of Vivian and Ignace because she subconsciously knows a Daemon killed her in her past life.
And if that's not enough, there's always the big honking sun sigil planted on her airship.
What exactly are the Penguin Tribe?
Humans are Humans, Beastmen are Bipedal and can hold weapons and tools and cast Sorcery, Daemons are the same in that regard, but the Penguin Tribe are.......Just talking Penguins, they have no fingers to hold objects but can somehow cast Sorcery. What ARE the Penguin Tribe? It seems unlikely they are Beastmen given the fact they don't have a Humanoid body like all the other kinds of Beastmen, and they clearly ain't Humans or Daemons. Why are they able to use Sorcery if they ain't Beastmen or Daemons?
