WMG / Super Robot Wars DD

Go To

All entires for DD should be entered here.

Rustal Elion will finally suffer a major defeat in the end.
Considering his Invincible Villain status in the original series. However, it’s been a tradition that villains who won or got away scot-free of their crimes will end up losing these games.
  • Depending on how they handle the 2nd-to-final battle of IBO, he will likely lose even if he has a whole lot of Dainsleifs. The playable team has a Mazin that is essentially an immovable object that can dish out insane damage, a Getter that has insane firepower, an A.S. that can simply ignore physical damage and blow up other bots with a single punch, all other flavors of Gundams that are easily overpowered if you compare them to the Post-Calamity War reality, a devil powered superhuman, and more. And that's if we do not include the Eva Units, especially when UNIT 01 goes AWAKENED. Then he's absolutely, totally, BONED. And no amount of Dainsleifs will help here since some of these simply No-Sell physical attacks, even if they are insanely powerful rail cannons that can also be used to kill things from orbit.

Possile Villain Team-Up pairings
  • Gjallarhorn and Dorssia, as both are groups from World 4 that have aristocratic histories, Germanic Theme Naming, and anti-Geneva convention tactics. More specifically, it would be the Arianrhod Fleet and Council of 101, lead by Rustal and Cain Dressel.
  • Similarly, Q-vier would be Iok’s “burrowed” attack dog, as both are well hated by the fandom and are responsible for the pointless deaths of so many popular characters, only to meet their end in the Final Battle.

World 1 will be a Retro Universe
It is solely comprised of series that originated from the 70s and 80s (Devilman, Jeeg, Mazinkaiser, Combattler V, and Dunbine). Even though they have Humongous Mecha, their world's space program is not as advanced as the other worlds' since space battles are unusual for these series.

Akira will chase Miki's soul to Byston Well
Taking a leaf from the Devilman vs Hades crossover manga, after the end of the original manga Akira will attempt to retrieve Miki's soul but instead of Hell, he and the rest of the party winds in Byston Well. That would be a good way of introducing Dunbine's plot into the story last to flesh out the other characters first. Then once the final arc of Dunbine occurs everyone returns to earth and the Mazinger/Kotetsu Jeeg plot-threads can carry on.

Additional Units from the 5 worlds
  • World 1
    • from Devilman: Seliene
    • from Kotetsu Jeeg: Takeru and Yuki-Onna
    • from Aura Battler Dunbine: Marvel, Nie, Keen, Riml, Burm, Todd, and Garalia.
      • Jossed for Garalia, almost killed by Garuda and his army alongside Mechanical Beasts in World 1: Stage 9 when she and Show were about to return to Byston Well.
      • Jossed for Marvel alongside her Dunbine, appear as an assist character for Show and his Billbine during their 5th SSR attack "Aura Charge".
  • World 2
    • from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: Rosamia, Fa, Reccoa, and Jerid.
      • Somewhat to be jossed for Reccoa. While the game didn't mention her, it is implied that she was already dead way back in Gryps Conflict.
    • from GaoGaiGar: Volfogg and Pizza, alternate combinations for the Dragon Brothers
      • Volfogg confirmed in Chapter 2: Part 4, but as Big Volfogg instead.
    • from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn: Riddhe, the Tri-Stars team, and Marida.
      • Riddhe confirmed in Chapter 2: Part 14 with his Banshee Norn.
      • Jossed for the Tri-Stars team, they don't show up at all.
    • from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack: Char, Quess, Hathaway, and Gyunei
      • Somewhat jossed for Quess and Gyunei. Quess appeared to be killed by the Invaders after pushing Hathaway away safely from their attack in Chapter 1 Part 13: Stage 6; then was revealed to have survived at the near end of Chapter 2: Part 14, but only joined as a temporary playable character. Gyunei appeared to die in the same Chapter 1 stage; then was revealed to also have survived in Chapter 3: Part 5, but unlike Quess, he wasn't even temporarily playable.
      • Char confirmed in Chapter 2: Part 14 with his Nightingale.
  • World 3
    • from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Athrun, Cagali, Mu, Nicol, Yzak, the Astray team, and Dearka.
      • Jossed for Nicol, died in Chapter 1 Part 7: Stage 2 due to the normal SEED plot.
      • Athrun confirmed in Chapter 1 Part 11 with his Justice Gundam.
      • Jossed for the Astray team, they do not appear in the game.
    • from Code Geass: Lelouch, Suzaku, and Todoh (with the 4 Holy Swords as a Combination Attack)
      • Lelouch confirmed.
    • from Code Geass: Akito the Exiled: Akito, Ryo, Yukiya, and Ayano
      • Akito confirmed in Chapter 2: Part 1.
    • From Full Metal Panic!: Bonta-kun, Laevatain, The Super Robot adversary actually being functional without a super-powered Lambda Driver due to technology borrowed/stolen some other world(s)
  • World 4
    • from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans: Akihiro, Norba, McGillis (in both of his normal self and his Montag disguise), Amida, Azee, and Lafter
      • Akihiro confirmed in Chapter 1 Part 12.
      • Jossed for McGillis' Montag disguise, only appears in the some cutscenes along with his Grimgerde who's also an NPC unit.
    • from Valvrave the Liberator: Saki, Raizo, Kyuma, Akira, A-Drei, X-Heins, and H-Neun.
      • Saki confirmed.
      • Akira, Raizo and Kyuma are confirmed in Chapter 2: Part 3.
    • from Blue Comet SPT Layzner: Julia, David Rutherford, and Simonne Reflane
    • from Armored Trooper VOTOMS: Vanilla, Coconna, Fyana, and Ypsilon, more VOTOMS models for Chirico's choice like the Turbo Custom, Strike Dog, Burglary Dog, and Rabidly Dog.
  • World 5

Additional Guest Fighters

Mobile Suits from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz: Glory of the Losers will be added into the game
Including the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Proto Zero piloted by Heero Yuy, the XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe Rousette Armament piloted by Duo Maxwell, the XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms Eagel Armament piloted by Trowa Barton, the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock Armadillo Armament piloted by Quatre Raberba Winner, the XXXG-01S Shenlong Gundam Liaoya Armament piloted by Chang Wufei, and the OZ-00MS Tallgeese Flugel piloted by Zechs Merquise.

We may get World 6 in the future
The addition of World 5 was a surprise, and with how the mainline console series are taking a break in 2020, they can concentrate more on DD to create a new world and insert new series to enrich DD's story. Not to mention, Eunice's story isn't linking with Dido's (at least up until they merged in Part 4 story), therefore they can also make a new protagonist for World 6, if they're not reusing Eunice.
  • Shockingly confirmed. We're getting World 6 with Daltanious, Jushin Liger, Wataru, Granzort and a new OG (Bennette)

We may get World 7 — screw that, New Worlds — in the future
Ever since the closing down of Super Robot Wars X-Ω, DD will most likely become the mobile lynchpin of SRW series about what could be included. World 6 has been confirmed. So... why stop there? Let's start guessing for possible new worlds to be included in the future, be it World 7, World 8, World 9, etc etc etc... until DD closes down too.
After the events of Super Robot Wars DD, Kamui sentenced his world's Stinger and Cohen counterparts to death during his uprising because he saw what the Getter Robo Armageddon counterparts could do.

Even if they weren't infected by Invaders in the Getter Robo Arc Anime, there's no telling what they could do. Paranoia is cruel and unjust.

Super Dimension Century Orguss will be added in at some point
With World 3 being based around Z1, and Orguss having a major role in it's story, it wouldn't be surprising for this to happen, They'll probably add it in as a Season Finale cliffhanger.
  • Bonus points if they tie the Space Time Oscillation Bomb's Detonation with Third Impact for some genuine chaos.
