This is the WMG page for Super Mario Bros. Z. Theories have been divided into the original run and the reboot.
That place being Bowser's Doomship. Consider these:
- Stuffwell is holding onto five of them for Mario and company (as he did in Episode 7).
- Bowser makes it pretty clear in Episode 8 that the Sky Pop shouldn't be able to avoid his laser cannon as easily as it is; in addition, E. Gadd mentioned that he made upgrades to the plane earlier in the episode.
- Lastly, it is implied that Mecha Mario is stronger than Basilisx by Bowser when he mentions in passing to Peach that he didn't get to use his secret weapon (plus, if Basilisx was indeed the stronger of the two, why save Mecha Mario for later?). Since Eggman is in on the project, he most likely used a Chaos Emerald as a power source to make Mecha Mario stronger.
- Jossed; the Ep.9 clip shows Shadow has tracked the sixth one to a desert.
Eggman obviously survived. My theory? The "Word of God" that mobius is gone is a lie to hide the real ending. However...
Sonic and Shadow did see everyone dead. Why? Because they were! Eggman is actually an alternate from a universe where nobody except Sonic and Shadow died in Mecha Sonic's attack; Sonic does a heroic sacrifice to take out Mecha Sonic and Shadow teleports that universe's emeralds to an empty void universe or the realm beyond existence.
Thus, when the series ends, Sonic and Shadow will have a new home.
- Alternatively, the alternate universe part is correct and the other versions of Knuckles, Tails, etc. survived there, but so did Sonic and Shadow. The Sonic and Shadow that ended up in the Mushroom Kingdom will stay as stated by Word of God.
- So wait, Abenobashi rules apply? or is this actually Eggman Nega in disguise?
- Mario:
- Mega Fireball Final Smash
- Luigi:
- Thunderhand
- He already uses it anyway.
- Negative Zone
- Which may or may not extend to "ZA WARUDO!"
- Funny you should mention that.....
- Thunderhand
- Yoshi:
- Flashing shell powers (fireball breath, flight, earthquake stomp)
- Sonic:
- Turns into giant golden Donkey Kong.
- So in other words, they would all just get their Final Smashes from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- Well, Sonic's would be more Goku's transformation into Oozaru, but yeah.
- Turns into giant golden Donkey Kong.
- Jossed, Word of God confirmed that Mobius was done for and Sonic and Shadow would end up living in the Mushroom Kingdom.
- Well, fuck.
- Coins: Rings
- Fire Flower: Fire shield
- Frog Suit: Bubble shield
- Mushroom: Speed shoes (Maps to their Mario Kart function)
- SemiJossed: Episode 8 has Sonic use a Fire Flower to turn into a red version of his Super Mode, called Fire Sonic in the credits. He is able to turn into a fireball, but also throws them, which the Fire Shield can't.
- Calling it right now: Sonic is killed in a fight, possibly with Eggman, but comes back to life and either: A: Makes an escape or B: Finds newfound Heroic Resolve and beats his enemy to a pulp.
- If this happens... It'll be Peach's coolest CMOA to date!!!
- If you watch that scene again, we never saw Red "in pieces" because he was outright vaporized by Mecha Sonic's Kamehame Hadoken.
- There's also the fact that in Z, the "former enemy undergoes a Heel–Face Turn" thing only works half the time - Frieza didn't become a good guy when Cell showed upnote , and Captain Ginyu, who Axem Red is all but surely based on, didn't turn on Friezanote .
- This troper's calling the second one. If Mecha Sonic has assimilated robots in the past, then there's nothing stopping him from doing the same now. Also, in Alvin's other projects like the Spoiler Opening and the Beat Up Sandbag Newgrounds collaboration, there seems to be a sprite of an upgraded Mecha Sonic with suspiciously Mecha Mario-like parts.
- That makes slight sense, but we have to remember that Mecha Sonic originated from Metal Sonic. If the Chaos Emeralds gave him a soul, why not do it as Metal Sonic? Why go through all this killing in the first place?
- Everyone needs a hobby.
- He could just be trying to prove his superiority to Sonic like he always has been. You know, "I am the real Sonic" and all that.
- Everyone needs a hobby.
- FOOL!!! You've fallen into Alvin's metal trap! That's what Alvin wants us to think. And this WMG is the fact he hasn't outed Eggman yet.
- This version of Shadow is based on Vegeta. It will happen soon.
- So by that logic, Basilisx is Android 19. Huh.....
"Let me ask you, does a Koopa like yourself ever experience fear?"- Shadow doing a Big Damn Heroes I can see, but I don't think it's possible for Shadow to become any more badass then the man already is.
- So? Alvin has already done the impossible once, so what's to stop him from doing so again?
- This Troper thinks this is likely, however he believes the twist to such will be from Shadow finding an Ice Flower, playing on how he and Sonic are both the same yet opposite.
- Jossed as the Ep. 9 clip shows Luigi saving Mario, while Shadow is facing Mecha Sonic
- The reason Mecha Sonic ends up with all seven Chaos Emeralds?
- Taking a Level in Badass and taking the gang's Emeralds?
- C-List Fodder for Mecha Sonic?
- WM Ging Fuel?
- Two or more of the above?
- Dude, they should totally be the Main Villains of the next arc!
- A man can only take so much, you know. You just know that sooner or later, Luigi's FINALLY gonna lose it. At that point, it'll be safe to say that the universe is gonna regret treating Luigi like crap.
- This can only happen if Mecha Sonic is the final straw for Luigi. Leading into the Man in Green killing the Robot once and for all.
- And then turnign his attention to his "friends". A combination of Who's Laughing Now? AND a slight What the Hell, Hero? would make for an amzing twist. like I said, a man can only take so much.
- But this is Luigi we're talking about. If he was going to snap from all the shit he's taken in his life, he would have done so from being forever stuck in his Brother's shadow. And I can't see him killing Mario.
- Hmm, wasn't there some sort of Mechanical Mario somewhere? Picture this: Left behind as usual, Luigi catches up to the group just in time to see every other character lying defeated at the hands of MM. As Mario and the others tell him to run, believing him too weak to fight Mecha Mario and the robot itself mocks him, Luigi finally decides that enough is enough and, fueled by his frustration and repressed anger at the brother this metal being resembles, he utterly destroys the creature. This of course leaves everyone confused and slightly frightened
- Well, if it's based on DBZ, Oozaru has yet to make an appearance, so DK might fit in.
- While the series is officially cancelled, leftover animation confirms that Luigi saves Mario.
So, when he came to the Mushroom Kingdom and was contracted by Bowser to build one of Mario, he realized that not creating one with organic emotions was a fool's errand, so he transplanted Basilisx's brain into it. In order to disguise this, he was also given his old armor, and told not to use his weapons beyond the Wolverine Claws until absolutely necessary.
This means that if Shadow comes along, he's in for a suprise...
- Basilisx: You know, I never really liked the concept of Deussss Ex Machina. Beyond that which relatessss to me, obviousssssly.
- Nope. In episode 8, Bowser says that Basilisx's strength is the result of another one of Eggman's experiments involving needles. He also says "Too bad now I don't have anything to sic my secret weapon on anymore" referring to robot Mario.
- Unlikely. Belome is minor class, and has no affiliation with either Wart nor Bowser.
- Definitely. There's really no other reason not to show his face by this point other than a Robotic Reveal.
- Keep in mind that Alvin Earthworm knows a lot about how to pull a fast one on his watchers- we can't assume anything at this point... it wouldn't be totally surprising if the shadow was dropped to reveal... Eggman. Just Eggman. ((Who is then revealed to be Eggman Nega. But Robotic. Or not.))
- Jossed by Alvin's Twitter, at least for the original series. Someone brings up this theory, but Alvin just said he was being dumb and devoting so much effort to hide the secret when the only secret was the obvious identity and nothing else. The early scenes of the reboot have Eggman reveal himself fully and he has no apparent robot parts or anything. But that's not to say there can't be a similar reveal in the reboot, just with a Robotic Reveal instead of Emerging from the Shadows...
So, when Eggman got the order to build another Evil Knockoff, he probably pretended to program him to defeat the other dimension's resident hero, but in fact, he would have programmed him to destroy Mecha Sonic, the original creation, and get the Chaos Emeralds for himself. In effect, he'd be pulling off a deception of epic proportions, that can only lead to an epic showdown between the two robots, with Mario and company watching in shock. Then Eggman would try to usurp Bowser's position, except it would go wrong for some reason.
- If that's true, he probably programmed it to destroy both the heroes and Mecha Sonic, just in case. Also, if that is the case, then we know Mecha Mario will lose because the "Title Sequence" video clearly shows the heroes and Mecha Sonic going Super Mode for the Final Battle.
- He did make an April Fool's Joke for this, involving Luigi unleashing The World and giving Basalisx the classic Dio Brando treatment with a giant Nintendo Wii. Here it is.
- Wouldn't it be ironic if basilisx gets defeated by mario in a rock suit?
- Jossed for episode 9, since Luigi ends up saving him...in the original run, anyways.
- It isn't Crazy Cool already?
- Well, yes, so Crazy Cool times infinity.
- Wait... that makes sense! Mecha Sonic is supposed to be an analogue to Cell, and, so far, Luigi's managed to take the role of Krillen for sure and, arguably, Gohan... If we're going by DBZ standards here, that's right on the mark!
- And if Luigi's potential is anything like the Mario Games... Game Over, bad guys. You may be strong, but I don't think you can stand up to anything like this final boss.
- But wouldn't that need Dimentio to work? Check my answer to the Chaos=Buu guess below for a possibility...
- If the roles you mentioned Luigi filling would be true, then by that logic, his love interest will be a Composite Character of Videl and 18...which I could easily see Daisy filling (especially since she hasn't really shown up at all).
- Semi-confirmed, since had Alvin continued episode 9, we would've seen him save Mario from Basilix.
- And if Luigi's potential is anything like the Mario Games... Game Over, bad guys. You may be strong, but I don't think you can stand up to anything like this final boss.
- If only.
- Or Dimentio. Both aren't very mentally stable, both are evil, and Dimentio has no limbs attached to his arms and legs. Plus, alot of Majin Buu's attacks could be translated into magic.
- Both will be the answer to Buu - recall that Buu has an evil side. Dimentio would be a perfect fit for Evil Buu, while Chaos could be Good Buu.
- Kinda makes sense, once you think about it... Luigi got brainwashed in Super Paper Mario...twice!
- Assuming this plot element is brought back in the reboot, this would be a good substitute for Vegeta getting brainwashed by Babidi.
- Very unlikely. Koopa shells are not indestructible, and we even saw that Mecha Sonic can destroy a koopa shell with a simple attack, when he broke Red's shell and took the Chaos Emerald from him. If he can do that with a simple physical attack while simply passing by, I think the GIANT ORB OF FIERY DEATH spells the end for all of them, hiding in their shell or not.
- Jossed as the Ep. 9 clip shows Luigi saving Mario, while Shadow is facing Mecha Sonic
- Just one problem. Why would Shadow let his foe become stronger when he wants to flat out kill him?
- Same reason Vegeta did: Pride. The Saiyan prince wanted to kill Cell, but also to do so when his foe was at his absolute strongest. Not his best move.
- Except Word of God has confirmed that Mecha Sonic will get all seven Chaos emeralds anyway... and the fact that the intro shows Mario and Co. being powered up by the seven Star Spirits to fight Mecha Sonic.
- There's also the fact that Android 16 was actually Killed Off for Real by Cell - assuming that Mecha Sonic is the series equivalent of Cell, that would mean he could defeat the series equivalent of 16.
Basically, Mecha Sonic's destruction of Mobius extended to the freaking afterlife of that world. Meaning that all the people who were killed would be shipped to the Underwhere/Overthere, leaving those in charge fighting to try and get a handle on things. Linking into this theory, A few more characters might die in the series and one or two adventures might take place in the Underwhere before Jaydes brings them back to life due to Metal Sonic or whatever villain is currently working things is causing too much trouble. This could possibly extend to some of the Sonic characters that were killed off, brought back to life as 'reinforcements' when the main party would normally be screwed. Whether there'd be a time limit or not on this is yet to be determined...
- Even though Word of God also confirmed that Mobius's inhabitants are also screwed... Just sayin'.
- Not to mention the seven "Only-God-And-Alvin-Know-What"s...
- Wait, that was stupid...
- Yeah, it was.
- Wait, that was stupid...
- Not that many, but there's at least a few. Here's one.
- So, Basilisx will become a Magnificent Bastard?
- I think Alvin actually confirmed his friend never existed!
- That's because the setting Basilisx describes doesn't actually happen. He says that it was the third Koopa in room two of Bowser's castle in Dinosaur Land, and that Mario stomped on him and kicked him into lava. Not only is there no lava in that room, but all the Koopas are climbing on fences and thus can't be stomped on, only bumped off.
- Considering what we learned in episode 8 of the original series, this is very doubtful. Shadow is after Metallix's head, period. If he were out to seek a challenge, he would have let Metallix transform back on Mobius, rather than use Chaos Control to remove the emeralds.
Smithy Saga
Turns out that Red survived his beating by Mecha Sonic, as he returns to enact his revenge on Mario, Sonic, and friends. It is here that they find out that Smithy is now after the Chaos Emeralds, With the intent of using them to restore his destroyed body and becoming stronger as well. Basically, it is similar to the Piccolo Saga from the original Dragon Ball. However, after Smithy is defeated, the gang thinks that they have won again, but it turns out that the saga is only halfway through. Mario and friends later discover that Smithy created a secret weapon: Axem Ranger Blue. Created from the parts of Metal Sonic, Blue activated upon Smithy's death, and needs energy. So after they won, Blue began going around stealing the Vim energy from various Toads across the Kingdom to get a power boost. To become even more powerful, Axem Ranger Blue decides to travel to the new Mushroom Kingdom Fighter Tournament with the intent of using Mecha Sonics Copy Data Ability to gain as much knowledge and abilities as he wishes. Mario and the Gang are also on their way to this competition, along with a few of Mario's Old Enemies.
King Wart Arc
This is a short one. Basically one day, during Kolorado's Expedition to Subcon in honor of his Grandkoop, he accidentally opens a jar that frees the King Wart, who proceeds to get revenge on the Mario Brothers, and their little Toad too! After taking over the Star Sprite Shrine and unleashing his army on the Mushroom Kingdom, he learns of the Chaos Emeralds, and decides that Unlimited Power may be useful for his goals. However, because Wart is theoretically a Dream-based Creature, The Chaos Emeralds end up responding weirdly to Wart, resulting in them going dark and creating something which will have consequences later on
New Yoshi's Island Arc
Yep! The Yoshis were able to successfully find a new Island and have restarted their lives again. However, when the Gang decides to visit, they discover that the Island has been Attacked again by none other than the Shroobs. Led by the Princess Cyber-Shroob, having been Rebuilt after her defeat at the hands of Mario, and seeking revenge for the Death of her Older Sister. It turns out that the Shroobs are quite resilient against the Power of the Chaos Emeralds, but not only that, but the Princess has brought the true leader of the Shroob Empire to the island: King Shroob. The saga ends with Super Mario and Super Sonic defeating King Shroob, at the cost of Yoshi's Island. However, the Chaos Emeralds and Star Spirits are able to repair the original Yoshi's Island, preventing the Yoshis from being Homeless.
Also, maybe Baby Mario could be an Expy of Goten, maybe the son of Mario and Peach?
Thats all I have, I couldn't think of any ideas for equivalents to the Buu Saga or the movies, nor could I think of how to include Nazo. But any other ideas from others?
MOVIE IDEAS:
The last lights on Mobius: Ever wonder about the last days of mobius? In this prequel movie taking place not long after the Death Egg crashed, Knothole is one of the last true safe havens from Mecha Sonic, with Sonic and Tails protecting the Last Chaos Emerald. With villages and towns being wiped out every day, Sonic and Tails decide to find a way to fight Mecha Sonic by creating a machine that will harness the power of the last emerald. Tails, despite Sonic's warnings, decides to go up against Mecha sonic alone with his supercharged power armor, only to lose in a Curb-Stomp Battle due to mecha sonic having the other 6. The Death of Tails causes Sonic to fall into madness and begin trying everything he can in response with the hope of killing Mecha Sonic, even if everyone else is already dead. All the while, Shadow observes from the distance. (The Idea I had was that the Burning Forest where Mecha Sonic gained the last emerald in episode 4 (I think) was Knothole)
A few ideas this troper had:
- Dimentio/Chaos Saga: A wizard known as Fawful has discovered a way to unleash a previously unknown entity, and it's up to the SMBZ Fighters to stop him. He's able to unleash said evil eventually, but it turns out to be rather harmless...or is it? It eventually is revealed that it has two halves - a good half (Chaos) and a bad half (Dimentio); the good half being the dominant one, but when Wario and Waluigi attempt to profit off of him, things go south fast...
- Battle Against Silver Saga: It turns out that the (insert SMBZ equivalent of Supreme Kai) isn't the highest entity in the universe - nor is the one we've been following the only one! Silver travels down to the Earth, revealing who he is with his attendant Rosalina! Since he couldn't get his pudding, it's up to Mario to prove that the Earth is worthy of survival by taking him on in the most epic battle to date! And just why does he look like Sonic and Shadow?
- Alvin has indeed confirmed K. Rool will replace Wart. He admitted he didn't like his original plan.
- Doubtful since she and Wario would not get along given their history together. It had been revealed that Peach had her own "bad" rival as an answer to the Mario Bros's dating back to 2000 with Mario Tennis in the form of Wapeach who was cut from the game, so someone like her could likely fill the role better... especially considering the fact that she was thought to be a Bratty Half-Pint who would treat both Wario and Waluigi like her minions, a foil to how the noble Princess Peach treats Mario and Luigi with respect and as equals.
- The SMBZ universe would have Silver as the God of Destruction, with Rosalina taking Whis' place (or, alternatively, Fawful will be used in Silver's place, since his personality is slightly closer to that of Beerus's, with Silver taking Rosalina's place).
- The Legend of Zelda: Would be the SMBZ equivalent of Universe 6. The God of Destruction would be Ganondorf, whose portrayal would be a case of Adaptational Heroism (for one thing, he would be shown as more reluctant to fight Link, and only come into conflict with Link because the planet Hyrule was on was originally scheduled to be destroyed), with Vaati as the stand-in for Vados (or if Fawful ends up being the series counterpart to Beerus, Hilda will be the stand-in for Vados). Zant would be a Frost-esque character.
- Pokémon: Arceus would be the God of Destruction, with either Mew or Mewtwo as his attendant.
- Metroid: Either Mother Brain or Ridley would be the God of Destruction, with either Ridley (if MB was the god of destruction) or Kraid being the attendant.
- Fire Emblem: There are so many possible choices for God of Destruction - possibly Naga if they wanted to use a benevolent god, with Tiki being the attendant.
- Kid Icarus: God of Destruction? Hades obviously. But that still leaves the Angel. Maybe Medusa or Dark Pit?
- Kirby: It will be the equivalent to Universe 11 with King Dedede as Belmod, Meta Knight as Toppo and Kirby as Jiren.
- Earthbound: God of Destruction would of course be Giygas and his Angel is Porky.
A brief outline of the King Boo Episode is that he has a Chaos Emerald and is using it to get revenge on Luigi.
The Heroes go to Evershade Valley, and visit E. Gadd. The scientist tells them he knows where one of the Chaos Emeralds is: King Boo has it, and he's holed up in Treacherous Mansion. Like the Minus World episode, Stuffwell is also introduced here, and can be used to track ghosts.
Luigi is terrified at the revelation. He's faced King Boo three times, but it’s different this time. His nemesis is armed with an artefact that makes him nigh-unstoppable. Luigi refuses to go, and after an argument, the others take Stuffwell and go without him.
Upon arriving at Treacherous Mansion, Mario, Sonic, Shadow and Yoshi are ambushed. A fight begins, but they can’t hurt the ghosts and Boos. Only Shadow's Chaos Control does anything against them. The spectres change the environment and Mind Screw the heroes.
They could even land Sonic and Shadow in a Heroic BSoD state by shapeshifting into Tails, Knuckles, etc and berating them that Mobius was destroyed because of their incompetence.
The group are defeated and brought before King Boo, who traps them in an 8-Bit mural. They can still move, but the mural is a pocket dimension which they can’t escape from.
Stuffwell escapes, and retreats to the lab to get help. Luigi is horrified at his brother's imprisonment, but is still too afraid to fight a Chaos Emerald-powered King Boo...until the ghost himself uses Luigi's allies as an ultimatum. Either Luigi faces him, one-on-one, or Mario and his friends die.
Luigi, armed with a new Poltergust, faces King Boo and saves his team mates.
- With Dr Eggman and Bowser having a Chaos Emerald this time and the events of Yoshi's Island playing out in possibily the same way as the original, Metallix will lose all 4 of his Chaos Emeralds and things seem to go well for the heroes. With King Boo out of the way and Shadow potentially joining the heroes this time, the heroes have 5 Chaos Emeralds and are off to rescue Peach and nab the 6th Chaos Emerald in the process. They all agree to use a Chaos Emerald each to empower themselves and rescue Peach faster.
- They overcome the Koopalings (who fulfil Basilisx's stone gimmick in his stead) and face Mecha Mario who has the Chaos Emerald and very nearly crushes them only for Metallix to show up. Mecha Mario's secret programming kicks in and he fights Metallix. It's implied that Mecha Mario doesn't stand a chance before Metallix shows up with vengeful intent.
- The heroes have a Chaos Emerald each but so does Metallix. Knowing that the heroes outnumber him, he throws Princess Peach out of the airlock, forcing Mario out of the fight. He then picks Yoshi off and steals his Chaos Emeralds and takes Luigi's next, leaving him at 3 Chaos Emeralds. Bowser and Eggman decide to get the hell out of dodge upon realizing their Doomship is falling apart.
- Sonic and Shadow try to keep up the momentum only for Metallix to brutalize them and steal their Chaos Emeralds. Rather than kill them, Metallix decides to make them watch as he rises out of the Doomship, turns Semi-Super and sends the Doomship on a collision course towards Toad Town. Mario shows up, sees the others and takes the fight to Metallix much to Sonic and Shadow's protests.
- Metallix fights Mario, with much of the choreography homaging their fight in the Minus World. Mario loses, gets his Chaos Emerald taken and Metallix has 6 of them in his grasp. He then leaves the Doomship and of course the heroes to die.
- Meanwhile in the Mushroom Kingdom, Princess Peach and Toadsworth see the Doomship coming right towards them and have the people evacuate before leaving themselves. The heroes make it out despite their dangerous situation as the Doomship hits Toad Town in a massive explosion.
- After everything, Professor E. Gadd calls the heroes to inform them that a power reading has been detected at DK Isle and the heroes need to go and investigate...
- Relating to above theories, something is communicating to Metallix (on the chance that this isn't his crazy side showing in another way). The something in question, Chaos. Why Chaos? It could be a few things:
- 1. Chaos saw what Metallix did through the Master Emerald (as it's implied there's a connection between it and the 7 Chaos Emeralds) and wants to manipulate him enough so the Heroes have more of a chance to take him down,
- 2. Manipulate Metallix himself into unleashing Chaos to tear Metallix apart (since aside from Sonic & Shadow's friends being slayed, likely Chaos in their gardens were slayed as well beyond Cheese) or,
- 3. Chaos is helping Metallix by aiming to spread more literal chaos onto the world, reminder, he was titled 'god of destruction' and destruction is chaos (Chaos as we know is very wraithful when his fellow Chaos are harmed in anyway, even to the point of endangering those not involved and in this case it would be the Mushroom Kingdom along with Sonic and Shadow).
- If 2 or 3 ends up being true in some way, it would make sense as Chaos was originally going to be a movie villian during the original series's run.
- His name is already a reference to Sonic the Comic, so why not go a step further and name the final form of the Big Bad after the ultimate leader of the Metallix? It would also fit Metallix’s ego to give himself an illustrious title like that.
To add insult to injury, when Sonic decided to tell Mario and Luigi the truth, Shadow protested that it wasn’t “their business”. Considering Sonic and Shadow's business almost spilled the blood of an innocent, this comment is especially callous.
It will add tension in the team by giving the Bros legitimate reasons to dislike Shadow later on.
After witnessing more of Shadow's perceived self serving attitude, Luigi and especially Mario will have their own growing beef with him for reasons that differ from Sonic's direct confrontation.
When it comes time to take on King Boo, something during that arc may have Shadow do something that solidifies the last straw for Yoshi and the Bros working with him afterward. Luigi might not understand but Mario and Yoshi would: Yoshi having first hand experience with Metallix, and Mario having a more active role and understanding of him being the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Instead of sitting on the sidelines while Sonic and Shadow bicker the whole time, the Bros will take part in the discussion, albeit for reasons separate but similar from Sonic.
Bowser successfully has Peach by his side as he takes over the Mushroom Kingdom. Shadow is the only hero left to fight against this menace but even he falls eventually. Turbo Mecha Sonic eventually gathers all 7 Chaos Emeralds, becomes Master Mecha Sonic before using his newfound power to destroy Bowser's armies and establish a fighting tournament to find the strongest fighters to amuse himself before he destroys the planet.
With no worthy opponents left, Turbo Mecha Sonic destroys the planet before using the Chaos Emeralds to travel to an alternate universe before travelling back in time. Things are different this time. Turbo Mecha Sonic finds an alternate version of his past self (Mecha Sonic MK: II) and destroys them before taking his place. When the time comes, Turbo Mecha Sonic deliberately allows Metal Sonic to absorb him, transforming him into Metallix.
Now transformed into Metallix, he decides to kill everyone on Mobius (again). He absorbs the Chaos Emeralds (the originals used up as part of his rebirth into Metallix) from this new world, loses them and the cycle starts over, hence the reboot.
