Warning! Contains spoilers for this Danganronpa fangame and its previous installment.

It's possible that Rei Mekaru is still alive.

During the Chapter One trial, Mikado swears he won't use his magic to kill anyone, even having Monocrow add a rule for it. Of course, this is after he already used his magic to execute Rei during the prologue. While this might not count since it happened before the Killing Game began and that rule hadn't been added yet, perhaps there's still a chance that Rei's execution was merely an illusion, and that she is currently being held captive somewhere.

  • Sora seemingly confirms this at the end of Chapter 4. There's also the reveal that the killing game is taking place in virtual reality so the fires that consumed her weren't fatal.

    • Confirmed in chapter 6. Rei had left the simulation before she could be killed.

Nikei Yomiuri is the fifth Void Member.
Out of the remaining characters as of the end of Chapter 3, he seems like the most likely candidate to be the final member of Void that has yet to be revealed.
  • This theory is confirmed in Chapter 4.

Sora is Akane Taira
from DRA1. Akane Taira is the Ultimate Maid and Ultimate Despair from DRA1. While it may seem that she succumbed to her injuries, it is possible that she survived. There is also evidence that they have similar physical characteristics.
  • This seems to be what LINUJ is building up to. After being pushed from the Tower of Babylon, Sora noticeably has her eye color changed to that of Akane. She also questions Teruya about her in the stinger of that same chapter. Additionally, a scene in Chapter 5 shows that she has scars on her body, similar to what Akane should have due to being attacked by a Monokuma in the previous game.

Yuki, Teruya or Syobai will die in Chapter 5.
If the game continues to follow the death patterns of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, the next two deaths would likely be one boy and one girl. Since Mikado likely won't be dealt with until the sixth chapter, one of the other three guys will likely lose their Plot Armor at this point.
  • It's also possible that Iroha, the last female member of Void will also be related to their death either as a potential killer or even as a victim.
  • Confirmed that Teruya dies in Chapter 5. Due to group voting the wrong person, Iroha and Yuki faced execution but due to some kind of glitch, they disappeared. Syobai, in the other hand, was not available during the trial so his exact fate is unknown.

The goal of Void is to mentally break Maeda.
As is very evident, Maeda no longer retains his chipper attitude from the beginning of the killing game. In fact, his demeanor pretty much parallels that of the previous Big Bad in the fan series, Utsuro, who was pretending to actually be Maeda. It's entirely plausible that Void's goal of reviving Utsuro involves breaking down Maeda's psyche to the point of essentially becoming him.
  • Outright confirmed by Nikei at the end of Chapter 4.

Teruya is going to survive the Killing Game but will die soon after.
Either through sacrificing himself or Taking You with Me scenario.
  • Jossed. He was the victim in Chapter 5.

Sora is an artificial intelligence.
With the Killing Game taking place in a virtual world, another possible theory regarding Sora is that she may be an A.I. As for what her purpose would be, based on her actions in the prologue and chapter 4, she might be an Unwitting Pawn for Void, programmed to protect Yuki since Mikado needs him alive for his plans.

The explanation for Syobai's flashback in Chapter 4.
During his time as the POV protagonist, Syobai recalls a memory from his childhood that features him as a kid watching something in an orange-tinted background. While it does look like a festival, it could also look as if the area was on fire or some other calamity was taking place. With this in mind, it's more than likely that Syobai personally witnessed the Despair Wars take place.

Mikado's real talent is Ultimate Hacker.
Since this game is apparently taking place in another simulation, the reason why Mikado can use magic may be because he's hacked the simulation to give himself these abilities.

Akane Owari was the upperclassman who inspired Yoruko.
In her Free Time Events, Yoruko claims that the upperclassman who changed her life was a girl who secretly worked as a hostess as a means of providing for her siblings. She also mentioned that she was tough enough to chase away a group of violent bullies. Akane has a similar background given that she had to work different waitress-like jobs to financially support her siblings and is always eager to take on anyone who poses as a threat.
  • Her upperclassmate is Karia Amane, completely new character unrelated to any official Hope Peaks Academy students.

Chapter 6's execution will involve the simulation being deleted with Mikado still inside it
.As of now, there is quite a bit of evidence that Mikado's actual talent is the Ultimate Hacker. What better way for him to die than to be deleted alongside the world that he supposedly created? Additionally, LINUJ tends to use official Danganronpa execution music as part of the punishments. The OST for the fifth execution in DR2, "Arcade Rabbit," would fit perfectly with this scenario.
  • Confirmed for the simulation being deleted, jossed for everything else.
