When Sonic CD takes place.
Given that fact and the proto-Sonic 2 features, CD is often theorized to be an in-between game which follows the events of the first but takes place before the second. Word of God stated that while Sonic CD is canon, the game has no particular spot on the timeline; it does take place sometime before Sonic the Hedgehog 4, if anyone cares.
- Given the play order Sonic Origins suggests, I’d say this is confirmed.
Amy Rose is the princess of Little Planet.
She was referred to as “Princess Sally” in the US manual. Also, in the Archie comics, she is the cousin of Rob O’ the Hedge, the prince of Mercia. Given these facts, we can assume her royal status.
