Characters that might be included in the mod
- Dr. Golden from Five Nights at Sonic's.
- Xenophanes himself. This time based on his canon incarnation.
- Jossed. He was planned for the mod in a song dubbed "Facade", but was removed upon request from his creator, with 2017 X taking his place.
- The bloody-eyed Sonic from the Blue Flashdrive creepypasta, which debuted months before Jack Cranely released the Sonic.EXE creepypasta.
- Jossed. Like Xenophanes, he was also planned for the mod in a song dubbed "Deferment", but was removed upon one of the composers, Hanabi / AzuriParker, having left the team and requesting for all their work to be removed.
- The memetic nickname of Sonic.exe's 1.0-2.0 sprites, Luis now turned into a separate character.
- Grimbo, or an Expy of him that serves as 2011X's Encore counterpart.
- EYX from Sonic the Hedgehog: Editable ROM. In his song, he may switch between his Sonic and his Tails form.
- Knucklehead from Maple Riot’s You decided Sonic Blast.
- The DRM Ghosts from Sonic Gather Battle, given that those things are from the closest thing to an actual Sonic Creepypasta in real life.
- SATAX from Ten Years of Chasing Tails
- Shannon Goldman from the sequel to the original creepypasta. Boyfriend would try to infiltrate the cult and take it down once and for all.
- Lord M from the April Fools' demo of the Sonic.EXE PC Port. I think we all need a bit more Sunky in our lives.
- AOSTH Robotnik. He's certainly got the right eyes to be an EXE thing, and he's a Sonic character, so...
- Ugly Sonic, either being his incarnation seen in Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022) or the one seen in the first trailer of the 2020 film.
- A lesser-known Sonic character, which can be either Shade the Echidna, Mighty the Armadillo or even Scourge the Hedgehog himself.
- An EXE based on Mario.
- Wechidna.
- you must be on insane levels of carbon monoxide if you think revie/raven is letting that abomination into this mod
- Inugami Korone from hololive might be a decent candidate, as she's an official ambassador for the Sonic franchise, and she's often seen as creepy due to her tendency to steal the fingers of her viewers, as well as her love of horror movies and chainsaws.
The full mod will keep the RodentRap guise, even though it'll probably still be advertised as Sonic Legacy.
If Encore Mode is included, then 2011X will have a different name/counterpart in the Encore versions of his songs, just like how Xenophanes has a different counterpart in the Encore versions of his songs.
