Big Mountain is an expat community
- The culture of the community of Big Mountain in SSX, despite having some international influence, is shown to be largely Anglo-American However, the summit marker of the mountain shown in the opening sequence displays 21,837 ft.(6656 m). This is higher than any mountain in North America. However, there are several mountains in South America in that altitude range. It's quite possible that a group of hardcore boarders with a love for extreme altitude moved to the Andes and started their own English-speaking enclave.
