Whatever happened to Rizella?
So, "Prelude: Log iv" ended on an unexpected downer, with Arizal receiving news on her phone from her tita and Lia. It had something to do with Rizella, and the tone of voice from Arizal's tita suggests that something bad happened to her. There are possible conclusions that can be made:- An unexpected death. It could be the final key to motivate Arizal on her journey to become a Record Keeper, something that girl will dedicate her findings to. Additionally, it is hinted by what she said about Rizella when she reached a mountain's peak, which sounds like a huge Tempting Fate regarding Rizella's survival:"And going through this assignment with Rizella has reminded me... how grateful I am to have ever met her at all. Whenever I was doubting myself, she like, psychically knew I needed a pick-me-up. If I was hitting a wall, she'd make me step back and see the path around it. They're the kind of people I need in my life. The kind of people I want in my journey."
- She fell ill. Arizal's Record Keeper journey could end up having one goal: find a possible cure to treat the illness affecting Rizella.
