The Duck triplets of this continuity never joined the Junior Woodchucks.

Huey, Dewey, and Louie in the comics had initially been depicted as a trio of tiny terrors, to the point that the reason they'd been sent to Donald was because they sent their father to the hospital with a firecracker. It wasn't until the stories depicting them as Junior Woodchucks that they started picking up more upstanding morals. Not having that influence in their childhood here may explain the slight case of Adaptational Jerkass this show's teen versions of them display.
