Prehistoric Kingdom exists in a Shared Universe with Planet Zoo.
While the two games are developed and published by completely different companies, their aesthetics and design philosophies are similar enough that it may not be a coincidence. Prehistoric Kingdom could even be a direct sequel to Planet Zoo with a shared Player Character between both, who was hired to manage the PK chain of extinct animal parks after being recognized for their skills of running contemporary wildlife zoos in the former game.

We will get all prehistoric animals that had appeared in Prehistoric Park.
Update 10 features Elasmotherium which had prominent role near the end of A Mammoth Undertaking, The Bug House had Nigel rescuing Arthropleura and Meganeura while the game has statues of both insects, the keeper staff member coming into Update 11 wears green shirt similar to those that Prehistoric Park staff wored throughout the series, the inclusion of Nigel Marven as park administrator is a obvious reference to his role in Prehistoric Park and Microraptor that sits on his shoulder in his portrait, is likely a reference to the one he essentially adopted in the third episode of the series. This could mean that developers potentially want to include the rest of dinosaurs and other prehistoric species that appeared in the series. Given that game already has Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, woolly mammoth, Elasmotherium, cave bear, Microraptor, Smilodon and Parasaurolophus who all appeared in Prehistoric Park, it could be logical that Ornithomimus, cave hyena, Borealosaurus, Mei, Incisivosaurus, Toxodon, Phorusrhacos, Arthropleura, Meganeura, Pulmonoscorpius, Crassigyrinus, Deinosuchus, Albertosaurus, Troodon and Nyctosaurus will probably be added to the game via future updates and/or DLC's.

Update 12 will be themed around late Jurassic.
We currently know that we will get Apatosaurus and Brontosaurus in that update, but given how current Update 10 is ice age-themed (we have Elasmotherium, cave lions, Stone Age theme and Canadian map), it could be possible that due to appearance of these two Jurassic sauropods, the Update 12 will be themed around late Jurassic period, and will be update that will also add Stegosaurus, Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus into the game, due to their fossils being found in the same formation as Apatosaurus and Brontosaurus fossils (the Morrison formation).

The game will somehow reference Prehistoric Planet.
Given that Prehistoric Planet is currently the most up-to-date documentary about prehistoric life, and released during the same year when Prehistoric Kingdom Early Access had been released, it could be possible that developers will reference the series, in the same way as they referenced Prehistoric Park, Jurassic Park and Walking With... series. Assuming that developers will add species that had appeared in Prehistoric Planet (like Isisaurus, Rajasaurus, Therizinosaurus, Qianzhousaurus, Pectinodon, Pachycephalosaurus and etc.), one of their skins could be similar to how that animal appeared in series (e.g. Dreadnoughtus could have had skin with reddish colored neck, similar to how males of that species looked like in PP).
