There will be Meteorns that look like characters from the base game.
- Given that the Meteorns are described as being strange entities that appear in what look like droppods, and take on the form of ARKS operatives, this will be used to Hand Wave how and why characters from the base game are able to appear in New Genesis. And when these Meteorns meet the Player Character, they’ll react with a sense of familiarity with them, despite having no memories of their pasts.
- That is, assuming the playable Meteorn themselves are even the very same "Guardian" from the Oracle Timeline in the first place.
- As far as Chapter 5 is known, it's not the case, as every Meteorn is artificially made. That said, considering Zephetto's centuries-long project, he may as well have used data on the Guardian to create 909; our character.
The DOLLS are formerly ARKS-related races or war machines piloted by said races, and Manon used to be amongst their ranks but is a Defector from Decadence.
- Manon has memories from her previous life, and when protecting the the Protagonist and Aina from Dark Falz's attack, she says something about "I didn't think it would be this-" implying she's familiar with the DOLLS and their invasion of Halpha, but she's horrified by the level of devastation they're causing. Also, many of the DOLLS are humanlike and mimic some ARKS classes.
- Chapter 5 says Jossed. She, the Meteorns as a whole, and the DOLLS are all artificially created to stimulate conflict so the ARKS defenders of today can rise up against a bigger threat. It also makes sense the DOLLS simulate classes because they're based off one person's desire to restore ARKS's former glory.
Halpha is an artificial moon entirely consisting of introduced species.
- It's obvious that a lot of the terrain is artificial, and both Aelio and Retem have species from the original PSO2 that originated from completely different planets. It was probably created by ARKS as a preservation project at some point.
Dark Falz is actually a mechanical recreation of Dark Falz Elder.
- Its overall silhouette, capabilities and how it fights in its first phase, even if it has different attack patterns, is uncanny in its similarities to Elder. Considering the DOLLS seem to be emulating ARKS and some creatures, it's entirely possible that Dark Falz is emulating one of the most powerful beings to have ever existed.
- After defeating Zephetto in Chapter 5, he confirms that Dark Falz was part of his DOLLS experiment that meant to bolster photon capabilities for the Meteorn, just like the ARKS of the original PSO2.
