For example, something to the effect of this could occur

Another might be that Maggie will be silent given what happened to her voice actor, and someone will comment about it (though won't mention Barr by name).

Post-Release Theories

Disney Characters Interactions

The short can show a few other Disney characters interacting with one another like how Antonio is kind to all of the animals while Disney Villains interact with how their plans fail to their enemies.

The Disney children like maybe Cody and Penny having fun with Mowgli, Pinocchio, Arthur, and a few other children.
The Disney Villains interacting like Madame Medusa and Ursula with the other villains.
The Teens meeting with The Seven Dwarfs.
Valentino and Djali interacting, with the former understanding the latter's goat sounds.

The short's rendition of "When You Wish Upon A Star" will be released as a single

This particular release may or may not feature the instrumental introduction and may instead feature Cinderella singing the opening lines:
Cinderella: 🎵When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are...
Belle: Anything your heart desires
Belle and the Beast: Will come to you🎵
- This seems increasingly unlikely. Composer Dave Metzger revealed in an interview that it is unlikely the soundtrack for this short will be released due to the various music rights of all the scores quoted.

Ralph's line was improvised

Given how Wreck-It Ralph employed the Voices in One Room tactic to the point where a few lines could have been improvised, Ralph's "Never better, Garfield" Non Sequitur, *Thud* wasn't scripted, and could very well be a case of Harpo Does Something Funny.

The camera was a magical, sentient one that could only take when everyone was spiritually ready, and everyone was simply under too much pressure that day

Some fans have begun to speculate what might've happened if the characters had managed to set the camera up without a hitch (perhaps getting someone stronger than Goofy, like Tarzan, Hercules, or even Eugene to take it up the ladder and set the timer). There is a possibility, however, that something may still have gone wrong. The camera may in fact have been a sentient, magical one that could tune into everyone's collective feelings, and could only take the photo when it knew everyone was spiritually and emotionally in the right mindset.
- At least one fanfic has explored the possibility that the TRUE reason behind Goofy's first attempt at the group photo ending in failure was, indeed, the fact that everyone was simply under far too much pressure over The Walt Disney Company's centennial. Supposing that in the best case scenario, the camera was set up without a hitch, what may instead have happened is that instead of taking successfully, the camera would just let out a prolonged flash of blinding light, followed by a very low, electronic droning sound, indicative of everyone's underlying anxiety. Cinderella or Rapunzel would then quickly explain to Mickey what was really wrong, and offer to find some way to fix it. This would most likely lead Cinderella, Rapunzel and their respective princes to start up the new rendition of "When You Wish Upon a Star" (Rapunzel most likely using her guitar to accompany), to alleviate the pressure everyone was feeling, and to truly restore their morale, allowing the second attempt to go smoothly.

Sequel Theories

This short was the onset of a new original series on Disney+

It would involve all of Disney Animation's characters interacting, mingling, and going on lighthearted adventures together. The possibilities are endless, and the photo shoot could just be the start.

So basically a reboot of House of Mouse?
I could see this with some fun recurring gags like these:
- Kaa hypnotizing random characters, only to be interrupted by another character doing something to him (i.e. Elsa freezing him, Tigger bouncing on his head, Stitch biting him, Mowgli hitting him with a club, Shanti clubbing him with a vase, Dalmatian puppies running over him, etc.)
- Winnie the Pooh getting stuck in various doorways/crevices around the studio
- Flora and Merryweather doing their "Make it pink/blue" routine with various items/other characters' clothes
- Scar quipping "I'm surrounded by idiots" after another character does something foolish.
- Many of Disney's Official Couples, like Aladdin and Jasmine, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Tarzan and Jane, Rapunzel and Eugene, and Mowgli and Shanti hanging out all over the studio.
- Lucifer chasing the mice while trying to get Ratigan
- Jim going on an adventure with Sisu.
- Pocahontas taking care while nurturing the animals.
- The Blue Fairy, Star, and Tinkerbell granting people wishes.
- Pinocchio going on an adventure to rescue The Boys from The Coachman
- Antonio having fun with the animals
  - When he talks to an animal from 101 Dalmatians, he notices they talk more like humans do.
- The Dalmatians being babysat while Pongo and Perdita go on vacation
- The Raccoons being nurtured and taken in on the Disney Family
- The Unofficial and Former Princesses interacting with Disney Princesses including Asha
- Pocahontas mentoring Tod and Copper
- Copper meeting Big Mama, Dinky, and Boomer
  - All of those happening Once an Episode would mean each episode would be rather long. Perhaps having each of those being subplots but in different episodes would work. That way, each idea gets the proper amount of time. Also, you could redo rather vague subplots, like the princess interaction.
It would also fit given that Disney is rebooting everything these days.
Characters from fairytales that could appear early in a spin-off before their appearance in their animated film.

Pixar will also make a crossover short featuring all their characters

Possibly for their 40th anniversary in 2026.
