Possible reasons for them to conduct this trade are:- Limestone is regarded as currency, food or a valuable resource with some other purpose that is rarely found on the their homeworld(s).
- They are encouraging humanity to destroy themselves with the Exoframes, so that they can colonize Earth later.
- They have benevolent intentions in offering advanced technology to help uplift humanity, and are either ignorant or refuse to acknowledge the potential for humanity to misuse the Exoframes.
- They are simply dumping obsolete technology onto less-advanced races, possibly as part of a disarmament treaty back on their homeworld(s).
- Maybe Advance Humans from the Future trolling their own history, wouldn't be the first time in anime?
- They're a space-based civilization that doesn't inhabit planets anymore and limestone, made from long-dead organisms, is simply very rare.
