Aunt Ellen actually knows exactly who/what Iris is and what's going on.
She's just playing dumb to keep up the charade.
  • Confirmed, as of Season 2!

At some point, towards the final episodes, Gramorr will take matters into his own hands...
And directly attack the LoliRock girls during one of their concerts. While they are momentarily rendered unable to transform due to being in public, most of the audience will run away in terror, and the girls will guide away a few people who'll stay a little longer believing it to be All Part of the Show.
  • If it does happen, I'm willing to bet that the song they'll be playing will be Reach the Stars, due to its abrupt ending.
  • Nope- not unless he comes back after being defeated at the end of S2.

It'll eventually be revealed, perhaps in a second season, that Gramorr attacked more kingdoms than just Ephedia, Xeris and Volta.
Which will lead to LoliRock getting a few new members.
  • Somewhat confirmed in the season 1 finale with the introduction of two new princesses - Carissa, Princess of Calix, and Lyna, Princess of Borealis - who team up with the initial trio.

Aunt Ellen is actually the Queen of Ephedia in disguise.

This is a long shot, I know but hear me out first. No one seems to know what happened to Iris's parents and the queen is stated to be a very powerful woman, so who's to say she didn't escape with her daughter to earth where she disguised herself as an ordinary human woman with an adopted daughter? So why didn't she ever say anything to Iris or the other girls? Well she could've cast a memory wiping spell on herself in order to better protect herself and Iris, said spell being time locked so that it only breaks at a certain point(like the Yukito/Yue thing in Cardcaptor Sakura) or she could just be waiting for the right time to reveal herself.

Alternately Aunt Ellen is Iris's nanny from Ephedia who was sent to earth with the princess and may be under orders not to interfere with Iris's magical activities once they began, after all she may have been aware that the other princesses would come looking for Iris eventually and as a servant she may not have very powerful abilities, if any.

  • It's more or less this one- she wasn't Iris's nanny, but she WAS tasked with protecting Iris, and she's shown to be very powerful.

It seems that some of Gramorr's attitude was actually not him, considering Praxina adopts some of his personality with a dollop of Axe-Crazy once she puts on half of his mask, which was brought to her by Banes. Banes also elicits unusual reactions from Gramorr ("I know" and "soon" kind of reactions) and is specifically shown to leave Gramorr to die, before his allegiance goes to Praxina. After all, the mask itself seems to be an Evil Artifact, considering what it did to Praxina.
  • Also, Gramorr's deformed arm resembles Banes in colour and markings.

Mephisto didn't die
. He was just knocked into a coma, and his recovery will be key in taking out Prax, since part of why she's the new Big Bad is because she's on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge.
  • This seems likely, despite it being alleged that he died in the explosion, neither Praxina nor the heroes ever saw a corpse. While it's unlikely he emerged unscathed from something like that, the fact that this is a kids' cartoon makes the probability of him being legit dead much smaller, as well.

Carissa is related to Morgaine in some way.
Well, they DO resemble each other, which is odd in a Cast of Snowflakes.

Gramorr was actually from Calix originally, while Mephisto and Praxina's parents came from two different kingdoms.
Based on Color-Coded Wizardry being evidently in play for the kingdoms, this seems plausible. Gramorr's crystals are purple like a Calixian's (just darker, because he's using Black Magic). Mephisto's magic is green, like Borealian magic, implying one of their parents is from Borealis. Mephisto also dresses almost exactly like a Borealian aside from the cape and lack of Fleur-de-lis (in fact, Praxina's the one who has one, albeit upside-down), wearing all the same colours. Being at least partially from Borealis might explain why they and Lyna are the only characters who can float normally- it could be a Borelian trait. It would also explain why Mephisto is so naturally skilled with spells, which are said to be preferred in Borealis. However, Praxina has red magic, and no kingdom has magic that's red (and we've seen Iris's magic become a dark pink, ruling out Ephedia, unless the King's red attire indicates either Ephedia does have red magic, or it was merged with a kingdom that did. The attire of Ephedians in the S2 finale seems to indicate the pink heart is a symbol of Ephedia itself, and the red, four-point star the King sports is of a different nation that merged with Ephedia). Similarly, no kingdom has yellow magic like Lev's. Deinos's blue indicates one of their parents is from Xeris, while his twin brother's orange magic indicates a Voltan parent.
  • Its also possible Gramorr was from Ephedia, as Evil Iris’ magic is also purplish.

Auraiana is the seventh child in her family.
(shrug). She IS a protagonist, after all. We know she has older sisters, just not how many (since they borrow her things and stretch them out), and we know she's not the oldest, because she's shown to be younger than Jodan in the flashback.

The series takes place over summer vacation
Which is why we never see Iris in school despite the fact that she clearly should be.
  • Can't be- there's a Halloween episode.

Praxina never went through Shanila.
If Talia can handle the Medallion's power by herself, and her friends can touch it without getting zapped like Mephisto, why can't Praxina or Mephisto use the Medallion without help? Praxina going through Shanila isn't mentioned at all in the Shanila episode, not even by Mephisto. Maybe neither of them went through a magic rite of passage and totally lacks the power to use the Medallion except together?
  • Possibly jossed on both counts. The official Lolirock tumblr page says that Praxina did go through Shanila but neither she or Mephisto ever talk about it. Its also implied that boys don't go through Shanila or any other type of magical rite of passage, instead having to rely on what power they were born with and magical item(though this is left rather ambiguous with one creator saying they don't and another giving a shrug of god). As for the amulet, maybe its just picky about its owners ?

Missy is from Ephedia
Not only does she have an unnatural eye colour (yellow) like Talia and Lyna, but she's totally unfazed by the fact that Nathaniel is magically interested in her when she wears the flower. It's not even indicated where she got it from, except presumably Lev.

The Ephedian Crest reflects a merging of two kingdoms.
Ephedia has two symbols that overlap- one is a Heart Symbol, the other is a four-pointed star. It's the only kingdom like this, and Queen doesn't sport a four-pointed star on her outfit anywhere, but the King has a small, red heart on his chestplate. You can see in the shots showing citizens people wearing just pink hearts and no four-pointed stars, even though that's supposed to be part of the symbol of Ephedia. In fact, only Iris, the King, and Ellira wear the four-pointed star. It's safe to say that because the King adopted the heart symbol, while the Queen did not adopt the four-pointed star, the Ephedian symbol was originally just the heart, and he married into the Ephedian family.

Banes is actually the dark wizard Zanavian.
In the episode Loli Lime Sublime Talia mentions the wizard Zanavian who tried to gather all the magical info in the universe and went dark side in the process. It's not mentioned what became of him but now that we know that Banes is probably the real big bad it is highly possible that he is Zanavian trapped in animal form . Most likely he is trying to return to human form and continue his quest.

Alternatively Banes is Zanavian's creation, working to either revive or free his master.

Mephisto was on his way to a heel-face turn.

Firstly, let's assume that the episodes “If You Can't Beat’em” and “Wicked Red” take place around the same time as “Statue Game”, “Forget You”, and the season two finale. In these episodes he acts distinctly less enthusiastic about being Gramorr's minion than he had before (such as shooting small crystals at a target with Gramorr's face in it). However, his actions in reguards to his sister and the princesses in these episodes are what really cinch it.

In both “If You Can't Beat’em” and “Statue Game”, he willingly works with a princess in order to help Praxina (true he had to be talked into it both times but in “If You Can’t Beat’em” he was the one who went to Iris while in “Statue Game” it was Carissa who asked him for help, not to mention that it seems to take less to convince him than it did in “Statue Game”). He also hands over an important item (an oracle gem and a magic pendant respectively) with no fuss in both episodes. However the most significant part is when he says this to Iris:

"If I weren't completely dedicated to your annihilation, it would be an honor to serve you as Queen of Ephedia."

This plus his expressions in “Crowning Glory” and the fact that he makes it clear that Praxina is more important to him than Gramorr's approval, power, or even his own life, and Praxina's own brief decision to be good (if she could pick good why couldn't he?) gives the impression that he may have been changing his mind about which side he wanted to be on.

  • There’s also his crush on Auriana and his profound interests in humans and earth.

Izira will come to Earth
If so, there might be a chance that she and Talia will butt heads as Princesses of Xeris.

Mephisto's sword was destroyed by Carissa
Following Carissa beating Mephisto in "Super Cute Kitten", the sword is never used again, so this could be the case.

Season 3 will be Darker and Edgier
Considering the tone of Season 2, it looks like there will be some dark stuff coming.

Lyna and Carissa will be apart of the team in Season 3 again

Nathaniel will find out about the girls' secret.
It's been coming for a long time.

Iris suffers PTSD following Mephisto's death.
Seeing as she doesn’t seem to regret or even care about it, this doesn’t seem likely. But his death will likely be very important in Season 3

There will be an episode explaining Gramorr's origins.

Mephisto and Praxina’s kingdom name could be Runic
In “Forget You!” Mephisto brings back Praxina’s evilness with an item named the Tiara of Runic, which falls in with their Color Coded Magic by having Green and Red gems adorning it.

The lighter the hair, the more powerful that person is.
Iris’s Shanila-powered self and Izira both have hair that borders on Mystical White Hair, being more shaded with light pink and light blue respectively than coloured as such. I Izira is said to be extremely powerful, and indeed she held off Gramorr on her own for some time, and her medallion is shown to possess immense power. Shanila Iris, meanwhile, can cut mountains in half and had little trouble killing Gramorr.

He could be using The Twins and Gramoor to establish some semblance of democracy in Ephedia. The whole committing a coup d'etat and taking out Iris's parents was an unexpected factor.

The King of Ephedia is from Calix.
Stemming from the Ephedian Crest WMG, it would explain his dark purple hair, and the four pointed star he sports. Even if Calix's symbol is a compass rose, Ephedia may have only adopted half of it, because taking the whole thing would get the kingdom confused with Calix.

The final scene of Season 2 never actually happened.
In reality, Praxina turned down Banes' offer to wear Gramorr's broken mask and fled out of Ephedia, opting to live a quiet life as a civillian (possibly in Sunny Bay) while blaming herself, rather than the princesses, for Mephisto's demise. She does, however, have nightmares of how things could've turned out if she had put on the mask; the final scene with her as the new Arc Villain invading the Ephedian castle and threatening to get revenge on Iris is one such nightmare (akin to the "Ways to Be Wicked" musical number from Descendants 2), with the show conveniently ending before she wakes up. I mean, we never actually see her putting on the mask, and with no plans for a Season 3 in sight, we still have no clue of what is supposed to come after that final scene.
