King Dedede will kidnap someone close to Kirby
Dedede
growing giant brings
Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the
New Super Mario Bros. series to mind, so perhaps this game will follow the
Super Mario Bros.' standard
Always Save the Girl formula. Perhaps
Ribbon or
Fumu/Tiff.
The level names
Judging from a recent Japanese overview, this entire game is an homage to
Kirby's Dream Land, down to the similar level structure. As such, it's safe to assume that there will be five stages just like that game. Following the tradition of having the first letter of these level names being part of a pattern, the pattern (in this case being about the giant King Dedede) will be as follows:
- Growing Grasslands (Green Greens)
- Irrational Interiors (Castle Lololo)
- Aquatic Arena (Float Islands)
- No-Nonsense Nebula (Bubbly Clouds)
- Treacherous Towers (Mt. Dedede)
- Halfway confirmed, halfway jossed. There are indeed five levels, but none of them are titled, and Castle Lololo comes after Float Islands this time.
