WMG / KiraKira★Pretty Cure à la Mode

Go To

KiraKira★Pretty Cure à la Mode villains will be based on diabetes
Given that the girls will have a sweets theme.
  • Probably not. While some seasons have been Darker and Edgier than others, diabetes may be an issue that might be too mature of a topic for a show aimed at a young demographic, even in Japan.

Will the masked villain of the opening become the next Cure?
Given the fact the other villains, like Eas, Siren and Twilight did the same.
  • Jossed. It's a guy.

Village Elder's soul was extracted.
Explaining why he is like a ghost.
  • However, this has very plot significance in the last episode why the elder is a ghost. He gets better though.

At some point in the series, the Cures will turn into the actual animals they're based on.
This would be another similarity with Tokyo Mew Mew, only for all the Cures instead of just one of them. This could either be a one-time thing or else a recurring extra transformation. Perhaps this would be analogous to the form changes that all the Cures starting from Happiness Charge have had, only instead of changing into a different outfit, they change into different animals. Or else it could be an involuntary side-effect of their Pretty Cure powers, similar to Ichigo's cat transformations in Tokyo Mew Mew, where they might have to learn how to control it rather than it being something they choose to do in order to use certain powers/attacks.
  • Confirmed in episode 34. Ironically no less with Yukari being the cat after all. How it happens though is a unusual surprise, although not similar to Tokyo Mew Mew, it goes as her animal crystal goes straight into Yukari's forehead, knocked down unconscious and transforming her into said cat form, and her animal crystal hosting Yukari's human body. The reverse happens the same way (forehead bump) to have herself back to normal.

A sixth, green Cure will appear.
The Sweets Pact has 6 smaller stars inside of it, with green being the only color currently not represented by a Cure.
  • Early leaks from toys and other media reveal this 6th Cure to be Cure Parfait.
  • While Cure Parfait is confirmed, her color scheme is that of rainbows, judging by her outfit, rather than just strictly green.

Miku will become Cure Parfait.
She seems like the most likely candidate, and it would introduce the first pair of sibling Cures in the main team.
  • Most likely false. Leaks show it's actually a fairy named Ciel.

The masked villain won't be Cure Parfait.
  • Confirmed.

The masked villain is not a girl after all.
  • Again, confirmed.

Julio is a fairy and related to Cure Parfait.
Their hair decs are almost identical. Maybe they were both fairies and Julio turned evil. Which means...
  • Also, leaks show the two fairies, Ciel and another one. It is likely that that other fairy, considering his similar hair color, IS Julio, which could lead to a possible Cain and Abel situation.
  • Also, more leaks of Cure Parfait show her with a wand like Julio's, indicating possible connections.
  • Confirmed in episode 22 where Rio/Julio's true form is really a fairy by the name of Picario.

The REAL Big Bad turned Julio evil.
  • Or at least has a Freudian Excuse to be evil that the real villain exploits in order to control him. Either that or Julio is a third faction all to himself considering his Mad Scientist tendencies.
  • Also confirmed in episode 22, but for variously different reasons.

Julio is the only Big Bad
  • And everything he's doing is on his own free will.
    • Jossed. Though more or less on the emphasis of his own will, since Noir is the true big bad.

Which is why she fell for Akira but not Rio.

Julio is The Dragon to the Big Bad.
  • Jossed. Considering Julio isn't the only henchman to the Big Bad, Bibury is/was one too (along with Diable/Grave/Elisio), although since now that Julio was actually a fairy under the big bad's control.

Ichika will be the only one trusting Rio in the end.
At some point, each of the Cures except for Ichika will put two and two together and realize Rio is Julio, except for Ichika. This could lead to a Plot-Mandated Friendship Failure moment and an Et Tu, Brute? moment as well.
  • Well, within episodes 17-18 on the identity of Rio/Julio being revealed, and somewhat confirmed that everyone besides Ichika doesn't know Julio's identity until the last minute. Truly confirmed in episode 22 where by the Power of Friendship that Ichika sees the real Julio inside him and purify him. Later actually revealing to be a fariy.

That boy who was a victim of Julio from Episode 12 will return.
Maybe since his kirakiraru was stolen, he'll no longer be able to enjoy sweets and become a villain.
  • Consider this supposedly jossed as this plothole never gets brought up again for the rest of the series. As of Episode 47, everyone's Kirakiraru was stolen, and then as of Episode 48, their Kirakiraru came back to their bodies, so this troper supposes that victim probably got it back too.

Julio is actually a good guy.
And a Well-Intentioned Extremist at that. He discovered a great evil (or worse evil than him) that is threatening to overtake the world. He's collecting the kirakiraru from sweets to create the ultimate weapon, hence his Morph Weapon, to defeat this evil and the Cures are his test monkeys to test the durability of his kirakiraru weapons. However he needed minions to help him fight the evil and created the cursed belts to force fairies to serve him and fight the Cures to make them stronger to take on the evil.
  • Jossed. He was originally a good guy in the first place, all those intentions of his influences and information is that of the big bad controlling him.

Ciel will debut in Episode 21.
This series is the 10th anniversary of Yes! Precure 5, it only makes sense as Milk debuted in Episode 21.
  • Jossed. Ciel's debut episode is 19, and her debut as a Precure is episode 23.

Noir-sama is...
The real Big Bad behind Julio and Bibury and the monster like creature shown in the opening.
  • Jossed. It was actually Elisio this whole time. Henchmen to the big bad becoming the big bad is kinda normal in the Precure series, obviously.

Ciel and Bibury are Julio's siblings.
Bibury shares her hair color with Julio's, and Ciel shares eyes with him. Usually, that sort of resemblance implies familial relations.
  • Likely not, Ciel sees Bibury in Episode 19 and doesn't act as if she is her sister. Confirmed later on that Bibury is/was completely human and not a fairy, though living off a century in the past, but still looks the way she is in the present.

Ciel's friends...
Are not Pekorin and her friends but are in fact Gummy and his gang before they turned evil.
  • Jossed, though they did come back in Episode 21, Gummy and his gang did help out the fairies return back to Strawberry Mountain. Ciel's friends are still the fairies that were separated back in the first episode. Gummy and his group also returns in Episode 39.

Julio was at one point, or will become a male Precure.
  • Jossed as of episode 22.
    • Comes close in episode 39.
Ciel is an attempt to do Cure Ace right.

Let's be honest Ciel is pretty much the second coming of Aguri Madoka with some Kurumi Mimino thrown in for good measure.

Bibury is also a fairy.
  • Jossed, Bibury is actually a human who was controlled by Noir for all the wrong reasons, also...lived in the past for about 100 years, but age wise looks like a teen.

Gummy will return.
The Gummy Gang simply disappeared after Episode 12. Maybe they'll reappear and help the Cures... and Julio?
  • Confirmed as of episode 21, though only to help out the fairies that were separated from Strawberry Mountain from the first episode. But no on helping the Cures and Julio however. They also return again in episode 39.

Julio will die.
And a purified version of Julio's wand will serve as both Parfait's weapon and a memento of the fallen Julio. And since it's pretty clear that Parfait is the reason that Julio turned evil it's likely that she will become Bibury's Arch-Enemy for the rest of the series.
  • Somewhat confirmed/jossed? Since Julio did indeed get purified, both himself and his wand went with it. Though in return, he was actually a fairy and Parfait's brother. Although also confirmed in the same episode (22) is Parfait was the reason Julio turned evil, but for a totally different reason.
  • Confirmed (?) in Episode 23. Ciel does take Julio's rod to turn it into her weapon and Julio does fade away at the end of the episode, but an apparition of him is visible in front of the shrine.
    • Although...

Based on above theory, Julio will die... but be revived in the final arc for an epic showdown.
And he may or may not return to the dead afterwards.
  • Why not? It's not like underlings stay dead in Precure anymore. And no Stop and Freeze don't count those two were more Living Props than anything else. And the villains from Maho Girls Pretty Cure! clearly inspired Kuroto to create the Dangerous Zombie gashat later on.
  • Well, on that case, Julio gets purified in episode 22, though not really dead in a sense, but in truth was a fairy like Ciel/Kirarin, but anything can happen in Precure.
    • However...Rio/Julio does indeed make a comeback...around the end of the episode of 39, reborn, but not in the final arc however, his return comes when Grave/Diable invades the town.

Picario's Theme will be waffles.

Elisio and Julio have connections.
They have similar ending names as well as scarves. Maybe the twins have a secret older brother that they aren't telling anyone or he is their long lost brother that Julio didn't know about or never met (he was purified before Elysio's debut).
  • Consider this supposedly jossed, as Elisio and Julio never made direct contact with one another the entire series. Not only that, they aren't related to each other even.

All of Noir's minions suffer from More than Mind Control
Noir manipulated Pikario's jealousy toward Ciel and Bibury's loneliness to the point of insanity so who's to say Grave and Elisio aren't being taken advantage of in some way?
  • However...in episode 39, Grave mentions that he's nothing like Julio and Bibury and that he accepts the darkness non-chalantly and isn't being manipulated. Who's to say if Elisio is the same way as Grave as well.
    • Although, in episode 46, the truth about Elisio comes to light as Elisio was a shell of Noir's true form for 100 years, so only Bibury and Pikario were the only minions suffered from turning.
