WMG / Justice League: Throne of Atlantis

Go To

Mera is still from Xebel in this continuity.
  • She was sent to kill the King of Atlantis like in the comics, only Arthur wasn't king. Instead, Mera encountered Atlanna before she could kill the current king (Orm's father), and she was the one to convince Mera to give up her people's vendetta.

Black Manta killed Arthur's dad.
  • It's possible that Orm ordered him to kill Arthur's father, and made it look like an illness to cover things up.

Black Manta is not dead.
  • Black Manta is too tough a villain to be killed by even a great white shark. He may return with battle scars seeking vengeance on Arthur.
    • He might return as a human/manta ray hybrid like he was briefly in the post-Zero Hour/pre-Infinite Crisis comics.
    • Confirmed by producer James Tucker, that he survived and will return scarred. Nix on the human/manta ray hybrid.

The fangirl who screamed "I love you Shazam" was Courtney Whitmore

Orm knew all along that Black Manta would betray him.
And was ready when that happens. But Black Manta knows that he knows, and already made plans to counteract it.

The next sequel would be based on the Forever Evil (2013) mini-series.
  • Jossed; it's going to be an original story about the Justice League vs The Teen Titans
    • Really?
    • The next movie might be about the Justice League vs. Lex's Injustice League.

The bearded Atlantean who wield the trident to crown Arthur is Vulko.

The reason Cyborg's dad is calling him is because he's diagnosed with a terminal illness.
By the next sequel, his dad will pass away. Throughout the sequel, Cyborg will be listening to his dad's voice messages, how he wanted some closure between them.

The girl in Cyborg's dream is Sara Simms.

The first Altantean soldier to take off his helmet is Garth.

Vic and Sarah knew each other growing up.
She had a crush on him for a long time. But never said anything before because she was too shy, and that she was a nerd and he was a jock.
