Wow Wow VENUS was cut from jubeat saucer on December 1, 2013 because Konami realized players were actually chanting "Wow Wow PENIS."
Eventually there will be a massive overhaul of the jubeat engine.
- The game will run at 60 FPS, thus necessitating brand new markers and shutters. Timing windows won't be affected since the game has historically used millisecond-based timing.
- Said markers will be 3D-rendered in real time instead of using animations. This will additionally allow the addition of speed modifiers.
- The difficulty scale will be overhauled, preferably so that there's no longer such a wide range of chart difficulty in level 10. (coughmegalaragarudacough) At the least, it will be a 1-15 scale.
- The game will add hit sounds, similar to REFLEC BEAT and MÚSECA.
- There will be a new type of cabinet, one with a headphone jack and less damage-prone buttons, but will still have the same compact form factor of the original cabinet type.
