Hostel and Hostel Part II are set in the same universe as Pumpkinhead and Tales From The Crypt Presents Demon Knight.
All four films gel together with the same gothic looks and the constant escalation which leads to many kinetic sequences. They could be a part of a larger shared universe, particularly action and horror. In general, they do fit with each other.
