The watermelon was laced with LSD
- The watermelon Mac got from the strange salesman was spiked with some kind of psychedelic drug. (Which would explain a lot about his behavior.) Shortly after eating it, the girls and Auntie all suffered from a really intense and frightening trip. The girls all believed they were being attacked by various things around the house, Auntie believed she had become an evil spirit, Gorgeous believed she was possessed, etc. They all started feeding into each other's hallucinations, making them even worse and they all started to think they were dying or seeing each other being killed. That would explain why most of the crazy stuff really started to happen after Mac brought in the watermelon and just how crazy everything gets and everyone's strange reactions to it. Everyone is going to wake up the next morning alive, but utterly traumatized by what they've just been through. Shortly after, Mr. Togo and Ryuko will arrive to find everyone completely freaked out and the house a mess. Needless to say, this will really put a damper on the rest of the summer vacation.
