"MMMBop" is a plea for help from victims of alien abduction

Though supposed English lyrics exist of this song, it's generally agreed that 90% of what one actually hears when listening to "MMMBop" is unintelligible. The only clearly intelligible sentence is "Gone so fast!" The rest of the song is in an alien language. Three human victims were abducted by an alien race that assimilates other species into its own. As the victim's brains were being converted, they attempted to send out a distress signal to all radio stations on the planet Earth. By that point, the alien DNA had taken over most of the language center of the victims' brains, causing 90% of their help message to come out in the alien language, sounding like slurred '90s gibberish to human listeners. The one English phrase, "gone so fast!" is the victims referring either to their home planet as the UFO speeds away, their own humanity, or both. Sadly, the victims were never rescued, and are now fully assimilated into the alien hive mind. Their last transmission however became a single hit "song" for one year all over the planet Earth. Then, just like the UFO victims who created it, "MMMBop" was gone from Earth's memory.
