IF Bob Ever Has a Kid...
The child will have control over his * own* element: Portals. That's right- after being sent through the multiverse like a damn ping-pong ball, borrowing the power of a * god* , and spending an awful lot of time out of his home dimension, Bob will have absorbed enough ot the dimensional energies to pass it on. God help us all.- This could be tempered by instilling in any of his children his hatred of time travel.
- Wrong sibling - it's George who hates time travel, not Bob. Bob would probably enjoy the chance to mess around with our past again.
- Only one kid gets it- if he has more then one, the other gets something silly, just for horrible contrast.
- Bob's kid will get dimension hopping. George's will get Time Travel. When George finds out, he will go, "No! We will not have any of that shit!"
The Cataclysm never happened in the first place
Just faking their deaths wouldn't stop a paradox.There'd still be a matter of the destruction caused by it and Promethus remembering it.To make sense of it all Dr Wily programmed the events of the Cataclysm into Zero,made a copy of his mind into the virus and left the capsule in the abandoned mine shaft to be found a century later.Promethus copied his memories of the Cataclysm into Proto Man,which would activate decades later so that Proto Man would believe the Cataclysm would happen.As for Auto,a copy of him was made with Cataclysm memories because everyone hates Auto The Alternate Mega Man Universe was supposed to have a Cataclysm

The Author of the Rockman Universe: That universe was a sprite comic by a parallel version of our universe, where the Mega Man franchise remained incredibly similar to its original Japanese version. The Rockman Universe suffered through the Cataclysm seen in the incomplete Cataclysm movies, and the Shadowy Author went back in time to stop the events.Bob ended up screwing things up, so yeah..The alternate future version of the Author:When the Cataclysm was averted,it merely diverged the timeline into the unaltered timeline and the new one. The Shadowy Author was the future Author of the original timeline,and left at the divergent point.
Bob and George also went to Acapulco with the others at the end.
According to the epilogue, before the twist, Bob eventually was killed and George never was able to return to the Megaman universe. However, since it's revealed that everything that we were told in the epilouge was in fact FALSE, and that the others ran away to Acapulco, there is a chance Bob and George also went too.- Both Bob and George are clearly visible in the final "and they lived happily ever after" panel in Acapulco.
Turns out multiverse theory is correct.
Ironically for all their paranoia about paradoxes destroying the universe, the universe naturally diverges to prevent inconsistencies. When Zero told Wily he'd kill them all, it just made the present timeline diverge into another universe and none of the characters were at risk of tearing apart causality. Everything before seemed like a Stable Time Loop because reality only splits in order to deal with actual breaks in the timeline, which is how the Shadowy Author still exists. For added fun, this new tangent leads to the Mega Man 9 and 10 games. David Anez hasn't played or heard of the Game Boy Mega Man games.
Or at least doesn't regard them as canon. That's why none of the Rock Killers or Stardroids ever show up at one point, even for a cameo, and why Mega Man is suggested to die in the Cataclysm rather than become Quint. Proto Man of the future's alias Prometheus is a reference to Chrono Trigger
Prometheus appears in the future, like how in Chrono Trigger Robo, the robot in the future, was named Prometheus. The Helmuted Author is the author of Novas Adventuras De Mega Man.
He was bitter over his comic being canned despite getting Capcom's approval, so decided to destroy other Mega Man webcomics out of spite. He chose Bob and George because he was jealous of it being the more well-known Mega Man comic, and accused the Author of "ripping off" his idea of a communist Cossack family. Nate's control crystal keeps his emotions under control, not his mind
Nate attacked Proto Man and Mega Man for no reason until Dr. Light gave him the control crystal. When Mynd breaks it, all he does is cry. Word of God is that he didn't want Nate to turn on the cast after all they've been through, so he decided that Nate developed a personality underneath the crystal.What if the crystal kept Nate's emotions from going overboard? He can still feel, but he won't reach murderous levels of anger or hatred. By the time Mynd breaks the crystal, he's been friends with the cast for so long that he doesn't need the crystal to not want to murder them. Proto Man looks like a child underneath the armor and shades, as in canon
Dr. Light, to say the least, is eccentric, so he'd still make a robot butler that looks like a child; he still made his robot maid, Roll, a child. Proto Man is cool enough to not complain about it, but he always wears the shades because it hides his baby face, and he gave himself height implants as Prometheus so that he'd look older (and fit in with the Reploids). Bob and George have a sister with ice powers.
To fit the Fire, Ice, Lightning trope. Probably a half-sister, given their mother is a succubus. The Helmeted Author is the Author of the Alternate Universe.
It's not made explicit that the Author(as an in-universe character) created the Alternate Universe, and the Mirror Universe does include mirrored versions of characters already from other universes(Alternate Bob and George). The Rockman Universe's author is the Shadowy Author. Helmut is the Author's Evil Twin and an author from another universe...do the math. Alternate George arrived because Helmut is evil and thought it would cause some amusing carnage. He doesn't bother reviving the people Alternate George killed because he's lazy and a dick.
