     General Theories
Lifeline is a transgender woman
Her first name (Ajay) is masculine; while most trans people with a gendered name prefer to change it, the fact she goes by an alias anyway might mean she didn't feel the need. She's also estranged from her parents — while the stated reason is because she was disgusted that they made their money as war profiteers, she wouldn't be the only trans character in gaming to have been disowned by a rich family.
Revenant is the brain uploading of one of the Apex Predators who were killed by Jack Cooper.
The name implies that he was killed and brought back to life as a simulacrum, and Ash's backstory proves it possible in the Titanfall universe.
  • Mostly Jossed: while he was indeed reborn as a simulacrum, the human Revenant was the Syndicate's top assassin. In order to preserve him into perpetuity, the Syndicate would revive him and wipe his memories each time he was killed. It worked flawlessly for a while, with Revenant even believing he was still human, until a shard of glass in the neck finally caused the facade to slip.
  • Jossed: Kaleb Cross was not an Apex Predator, and died long before Titanfall 2.
The girl in Revenant's launch trailer is Loba
It's mentioned that her father speaks Portuguese and his final gift to her is a small sculpture of a wolf's head. The thing is, I'm pretty sure that Loba is Portuguese for female wolf. It makes plenty of sense.
  • Confirmed.
Dr. Reid is the human Ash was created from
Ash's ramblings upon being reassembled include mentioning branthium, the element that Horizon and Dr. Reid found and the latter betrayed the former over. Another line, "Ah. Just a wee bit of betrayal before breakfast, eh dearie?" seems to reference the event. Further more, when Blisk speaks with Ash in "The First Ship", he mentions an "old friend" of hers has reappeared, possibly referencing Horizon.
  • This is further supported by Pathfinder's Quest, which reveals her first name is Ashleigh and contains even more quotes from the Broken Ghost, such as the one about ice cream.
  • Confirmed. The cinematic "Ashes to Ash" removes any doubt whatsoever.
Rampart and Horizon will at some point have a story or plot focused on both.
Ajay (“season 0”) has a plot with Octane that debuted in season 1. Wattson (season 2) has a plot with Crypto (season 3). Revenant (season 4) has a plot with Loba (season 5).If they intend to continue this pattern then these two should be the next.
Crypto's Heirloom Weapon...
Will be a custom Data Knife, or sword. It would make sense, given Crypto is the resident hacker. Why wouldn't he have a custom knife that not only lets him bypass security, but allows him to defend himself too? Plus, its way too good an opportunity to pass up.
Caustic's still alive due to his chemical experiments
He states in a later season line that the cancer should have killed him by now. The fact he works with so many chemicals and in one animation drinks some sort of concoction may have done accidental chemotherapy of some sort.
Caustic will survive as a simulacrum
A Season 11 loading screen contains a piece of Caustic's research, which ponders the process of becoming a simulacrum in order to cheat his impending death via cancer. While he is confident that his personality would survive, despite scoring poorly on the psychological exam, the part that worries him is the substantial memory loss that both Revenant and Ash experienced during their conversions. While it's difficult to picture it happening within Apex Legends, as it would likely require a complete overhaul of his character design, it would provide a convenient way for him to make appearances further down the line.
Rampart (and possibly Wattson, too) has a sleep disorder.
From the sheer number of voice lines she has about sleeping, napping, and being tired, this troper is led to believe that Rampart may suffer from a sleep disorder such as narcolepsy. Wattson also seems to fall asleep at strange times and in strange places, and while that may be more of a sign that she just works until she drops, this troper still finds it suspect that there's so much focus on Wattson falling asleep, given that the same focus is not put on other characters who are notable for putting all their time into their work such as Horizon, Wraith, and Crypto. (This troper, could, however, be projecting their own sleep disorder onto them.)
     Future Legends Theories
Big Sister will become a playable legend
The masked gangster that appears in "The Endorsement" raises far too many questions to not be significant in some way besides trashing Rampart's shop. Crypto and Loba had cameo appearances in lore before they were properly introduced as playable characters, so it's possible that Big Sister may also ascend into the Apex Games at a later date.
Maggie will at some point become playable
  • Jossed: In the end of the Season 8 comic, "Armageddon", Maggie jumps to her death after attacking Fuse directly.
    • Confirmed. She is alive
Victor Maldera will become a playable legend.
