Zipper is actually a bunny and is wearing a costume.
He just looks different than the bunny costume he’s wearing.

There is a China release of Animal Crossing New Horizons, but it's not popular because it's crippled to the hilt

Firstly, this appears in the credits: https://imgur.com/a/SAchZqV

The word "localization" and the fact that it is done in China itself couldn't possibly mean anything else.

This most likely means iQue has localised the game for a China release. Secondly, there is word that Nintendo is porting it's Switch games to a version of the NVidia Shield that is only sold in China. The NVidia Shield is in fact based on the same building blocks as a Switch, but runs Android instead of the custom Switch OS. The iQue here could mean a third party game store on Chinese versions of the Shield (possible since Google Play Store isn't allowed to operate in China, meaning they would need a custom OS with their own App Store) or could in fact be the Chinese name for the Shield.

However, it is possible that this version is not popular because it has been censored and crippled to the hilt to appeal to Chinese authorities, hence why no one talks about it. Socialist values requires that supernatural beings like Wisp, as well as the tombstones and anything the government finds trouble with, be removed. Online interactions would be monitored and restricted to only other people from China, if even offered at all. Support for Custom patterns would be Dummied Out. And so on. This would drive the radicals to import a proper Switch from Hong Kong with the Taiwan/Hong Kong version of the game instead, which would be unrestricted.

Tom Nook hates Isabelle and wants her to quit.

He gives her nothing to do, hoping that she will just quit her job on the island. This is why Isabelle doesn't have anything useful to say ever.

  • She still mans the seasonal events.
  • He seemed to have kept her Locked Out of the Loop in terms of visiting special NPCs for the longest time, leaving her with not much to say in her daily announcements until he eased up on this after the game updated to 2.0. His history with Redd is infamous, so refusing to acknowledge his presence is understandable, but not telling Isabelle about the rest seems rather odd.

The Zelda villagers from New Leaf will be added for the Zelda 35th Anniversary
If Mario furniture is added for its 35th, it makes sense they would give Zelda a similar treatment. But with Villagers already existing, there is something more that can be added.
  • Jossed. Nothing wass added for the 35th anniversary of the Zelda franchise.

The City Tripper will return with the Mario furniture
The bike, debuting in Mario Kart 8 made an appearance as furniture in the other games.

The Nooklings want a vacation home themed around excavating fossils in Happy Home Paradise because of all the extra fossils we've been selling them.
They've been seeing so many cool fossils we've dug up to get assessed by Blathers only to be ones the museum already has donated. It's sparked an interest in the twins.
  • Jossed. None of the Special characters ask for a specific theme for their vacation homes.

Catching certain fish that have cooking recipes will have you automatically learn the recipe.
If it's a fish that isn't in the museum, your character will have additional thoughts about how maybe they should donate that one first.
  • Confirmed.

The Froggy Chair will be given to all players for free
Every big update comes with a free item delivered to your mailbox. Due to the chair’s popularity, they will give it to players.
  • Jossed. The 2.0 update didn't come with a free item in the mail.

K.K. Slider doesn't put the boot of his show in your pocket.
How can he, when he's performing your request? While you and the other villagers are enjoying the show, the seasons change as the credits roll, masking what's really going on: After all, a good roadie stays out of the spotlight. If he's doing right, you don't even know he's there. And once in a while he might step on the stage to fix a problem. To set something right. And before you even realize he was there, or what he did, he's gone.

Harriet's the one with the terraforming permit.
Harv's Island goes largley undeveloped until Harriet arrives. This is because she's the one who took the time to level out a market place area and set it all up so that she and Harv could begin the project with the arriving player's financial help.

Cephalobot's favorite video game is Rhythm Heaven Fever.
And his favorite Rhythm Game in it? Donk-Donk.

C.J. stands for "Chip Junior"
With the confirmation of C.J. being Chip's son, it could be highly likely for his name to actually mean "Chip Junior".

The next Animal Crossing game will introduce deep sea creature models and reintroduce Cyrus's fossil models, both as Flick's creations.
Just as handing fish to C.J. and insects to Flick himself earns the player a Flick-made model, handing three of any particular deep sea creature or all the pieces of a multi-piece fossil model to another NPC will earn the player a Flick-made deep sea creature or fossil model, respectively. If Kapp'n's family returns with proper roles in the next game, Leila may be the one to give deep sea creatures. Blathers could be the one to hand the fossils, even if he and the model maker do disagree on bugs.

Sasha is Transgender
His eyelashes (which is uncommon for a male character) and his poster's background colors may be a hint of it.
