Darcy in this story will be stronger than canon, possibly re-activating her Calamity powers to fight against Anne.
- Some of Marcy's ancestors, the Wu Clan, are mentioned to be sorcerors, so if they got assimilated into the Core, it's possible she could inherit these powers as well, making her a much bigger threat to the heroes.
- Like the Five Chinese Elements as her ancestors originated there. Fire, Water, Wood, Earth and Metal. as well as Ability Mixing.
- Perhaps also the physical prowess of the Leviathan family, too, as well as "raise the dead" with her ancestors as a zombie army.
- It also gives the Core an ulterior motive in becoming The Symbiote to Marcy, to be "in synch" and invoke All Your Powers Combined.
Marcy's father will go to Amphibia with Anne and the Plantars to try to convince his daughter to come to her senses, believing her to have been Brainwashed by King Andrias into becoming a villain.
- Well, he's not exactly wrong, except it was mostly the Core that did that.
- He finds out about the Core's role in chapter 17.
Valeriana will train Anne how to use her Calamity powers in Amphibia, due to Marcy's Face–Heel Turn throwing a wrench in her plans and has personally met the Wu Clan in the past.
- In canon, Valeriana was the one who created the Calamity Box. She's definitely old enough to have met members of the Wu Clan, possibly a case of We Used to Be Friends ( a Foil akin to Anne and Sprig) with some of them that knew how it worked.
- She could also tell them about the Core's history and convince the girls that Marcy's been Brainwashed and needs to be saved, not just stopped, for the prophecy to come true.
The Core will remind Marcy of all the times Anne and Sasha ignored her interests and convince her they were never her friends in order to focus more on their multiversal conquest.
- It would likely see Marcy's lingering attachment to them, their biggest threat, as a hindrance to their Evil Plan. Makes sense it'd want her to cut ties back.
- In a Rule of Symbolism, she will destroy the "perfect" copies of Anne and Sasha in her "ideal world", rejecting them for their plans of multiversal conquest.
The Thai community will rally to save the Boonchuys and Plantars.
- Since Anne has been arrested by Amanda alongside her parents, she can't call for help from their friends to rescue the Plantars from Mr. X as in canon. But since the arrest was a public disaster — not least of all because a middle-aged woman tried to beat a teenager to death in broad daylight before being restrained — it's highly likely that bystanders filmed it and put it all online, as you'd expect. Considering how close the Boonchuys are with their community, and how the latter are all Secret Keepers for the Plantars, it's possible they'll come together to save them all.
- It doesn't happen. In chapter 17, the cops let them go after they provide evidence with Marcy's Journal.
King Andrias will come to regret his role in corrupting Marcy to perform a Face–Heel Turn when he sees the results of Darcy in action during the invasion.

The Mother of Olms will give backstory on the Core and the Wu Clan to Anne, Sasha and the Plantars.
- This might convince Anne and Sasha to try and save Marcy from the Core's influence.
Sasha cutting Darcy's cord connection won't separate the Core from Marcy in this story and Darcy will remain.
- This is because they're "in synch" with each other.
- She'll possibly fake her Villainous Breakdown like in the show before Laughing Mad and mocking Sasha then go on the counter-attack.
The Core's human avatar form is its first member and creator.
- Makes sense why it'd make it its default form to Marcy instead of King Aldrich.
- She could also have been friends with Valeriana.
Darcy will instead go by the name Mar-Core.
- Reference that Marcy and The Core are working together as a Fusion Dance instead of a Demonic Possession, and she doesn't see herself as evil, despite everything.
Darcy will travel to Amphibia's moon.
- A suggestion from the Core if things go south for them. She'd be impressed that they invented space travel over a thousand years ago, before anyone on Earth did.
- It could likely hold creatures there that are similar to those from Chinese mythology, instead the generic monster mooks in the show, like Spirit Foxes and Eastern Dragons.
Theories on Marcy's final fate in the end.
- Killed Off for Real in performing one final act of Redemption Equals Death or is put down by Anne in the Core's moon form to save Amphibia from her and die a villain.
- Sent to juvie or a mental asylum.
- The Bad Guy Wins and she takes over the Earth and Amphibia.
- King Andrias will take the blame, claiming he brainwashed the girl into doing what she did, while mocking the heroes for not considering the possibility their friend was being manipulated via dark magic. Marcy can start a new life in another State with her parents.
