The Promise of Forever is a region-exclusive book in the Choices: Stories You Play collection. It centers on an Arranged Marriage between an Indian woman (default name of Anika) and a man named Rishi Kalvani at the former's parents' request.
Book 1 was released from September 27, 2023 to October 18, 2023. Book 2 was released on March 6, 2024 and ended on March 27, 2024.
This is notably the first book in the Choices franchise to only be released in a certain region (in this case, India).

- For one thing, this is the first book in Choices history to be released only in a certain part of the world, as opposed to everyone eventually (or at least, everyone with a VIP subscription).
- This is the first single love interest book where the sole Love Interest isn't customizable; Rishi is Always Male and his appearance cannot be customized in any way. Even more surprising, unlike in Rules of Engagement (which also has a straight female main character with only male love interests and locked appearances), his name can't be changed, either (while the prince, rich lawyer, and bartender from RoE had customizable names).
- This is the first series where a book is comprised of only four chapters. Previous Choices books of such a short length were considered "specials", not full-blown installments.
- Character Customization: Albeit only for Anika, and even then, all of the available faces are Indian.
- Gay Option: Noticeably averted in a main character for the first time since Rules of Engagementnote ; Rishi is always male, likely because the book is set in India, where Anika marrying a woman would be considered taboo.
