Love Shore is a sci-fi Visual Novel developed and published by studio Perfect Garbage.

The game is set in a city called Love Shore, after a fertility crisis caused a company to develop artificial, non-aging humans, the S.Humans, and promptly close down when the fertility crisis was solved, leaving 100 of these artificial humans roaming around the town. Two of these, Sam and Farah, meet each other when they are arrested, and the story follows their lives shortly after they were released.

The game ran a successful Kickstarter campaign, and released a demo on Steam and itch.io in September of 2020, and was part of the Game Devs of Color Expo. It was eventually released in June of 2023.

Love Shore contains examples of the following tropes:

  • Artificial Human: Sam and Farah are a part of the S.Humans, artificially created humans made to combat a fertility crisis plaguing Love Shore. They're virtually immortal as long as they can keep fixing broken parts.
  • Multiple Endings: The game has over 25 endings, with 4 love interests for each main character, and multiple endings for each of the 8 love interests' routes.
  • Gay Option: Inverted. Sam's romances are mostly with other men, but one of his options, Vivian, works as his Straight Option.
  • Story Branch Favoritism: While each character has 4 love interests, the marketing of the game puts a lot of focus on one of each of the characters, with Sam's being Aly and Farah's being Imani.
