It Lives In the Woods Redux is a remake of Pixelberry’s Choices: Stories You Play 's Visual Novel horror story It Lives In the Woods,a part of the larger collection of games within Pixelberry’s Choices: Stories You Play.You are an Ordinary High-School Student named Hayden Young, who is from another of Pixelberry's novels, living in the quiet Oregon suburb of Westchester. You and a group of your old Childhood Friends are finding themselves the center of attention of something old, dangerous and evil living in the woods... something that knows your name.

Word of God has confirmed that the level of gruesomeness in this game would have been at least on par with It Lives Beneath. - Breather Episode: In Chapter 3, Hayden goes to the mall, and depending on her relationship with Mysterious Guy, may or may not be attacked by Britney. This will not happen in newer versions.
- Creepy Crows: They're bad news for the bad guys. In Chapter 4, as Harley and Britney fight Hayden and Noah, a murder of crows come out of nowhere and attack the bullies. Hayden would have adopted one of them in Chapter 5. This would have been changed in newer versions, however.
- For Want Of A Nail: Nearly every choice you make can affect gameplay in one way or another. If Hayden calls Britney out for bullying Lily in Chapter 1, Lily will gain +3 Nerve, but Britney will slap Hayden, causing Hayden -4. Then whoever you sit with during the subsequent pep rally will approve, giving Hayden a bonus +3 (and increasing Mysterious Guy's relationship by +1 if you sit with him). But in Chapter 2, Britney will punch Hayden in the groin, knock her unconscious, and lock her in a locker. If you do not call Britney out for bullying Lily in Chapter 1, however, Hayden and Lily's nerve will not change then, but during the pep rally, whoever you sit with will be angry with you, causing Hayden -3. In chapter 2, Britney will sneak up on Hayden and just incapacitate her and her nerve will not change.
