She runs away in a panic and runs into her friend Ronan, discovering that he has been living a double life. At the bakery, he plays the role of her little brother figure, but away from home he plays the role of a mature city guard. Lilia herself plays two roles, as she keeps her human and luccretia identities separate. When will the mask come off, and what will the real identities be?
How to Take Off Your Mask is a romantic comedy Visual Novel released by roseVerTe, with Japanese voice acting. It's a love story between Lilia and Ronan, with two different endings based on whether Lilia identifies with her luccretia self or not. It also has two sequels, How to Fool a Liar King and How to Sing to Open Your Heart.

- Involuntary Shapeshifting: People that are half luccretia have a trigger that transforms them between their human and luccretia forms. Lilia's trigger is sneezing, and her father's trigger was apparently loosing consciousness.
- The Klutz: Part of Ronan's little brother act involves acting clumsy. Lilia doesn't want him using knifes because he always cuts himself.
- Little Bit Beastly: This is how Lilia looks in luccretia form.
- Older Than They Look: Leea looks a lot younger than Lilia, even though they're actually the same person.
- Raised by Grandparents: Lilia's parents are dead, so she lives at her grandmother's bakery.
- Relationship Values: Ronan has a love meter, which needs to be maxed out to get the bonus chapters.
- Verbal Tic: Some luccretia have verbal tics, although the specifics are based on the individual. Leea says 'nya' a lot, even when she doesn't want to.
