Tropes

  • Amazonian Beauty; Captain Luna Kashiwazaki is this in spades, with or without her mutation. With the right mutation, this trope applies to Lt. Megumi Nadeshiko even more so.
  • Artificial Gravity; Discussed and played realistically, being done by Centrifugal Gravity.
  • Author Appeal: Absolutely loaded with this, being a self professed Fetish game.
  • Balloon Belly
  • Big Beautiful Woman: Hiroko Hashimoto and Lt. Megumi Nadeshiko with the weight gain mutation.
  • The Empire: Subverted, while the game lore and the characters make reference to The Japanese Empire, which seems to be comprised of Japan, Korea, and Latin America, the general tone seems to be more that of The Republic. Although doubts are given considering the government knew exposure to the mutagen was a high probability, and approved of the mission anyway.
  • Freeze Ray: Discussed and played realistically. On board the ship, the crew are officially armed with what is called a 'Vinegaroon', a high tech squirt gun that fires a jet of cold water, followed by a pump of a liquid nitrogen-based freezing agent. Officially though, these Vinegaroons are Fire Extinquishers.
  • Giant Woman
  • Growing Muscles Sequence
  • Latin Lover: Player Character Carlos Paseante is this, being handsome, a badass, and Chilean.
  • Latino Is Brown: Played Straight with the two confirmed Latine characters, Luna Kashiwazaki and Carlos Paseante, having olive skin.
  • Mildly Military
  • Military Science Fiction
  • Mutant: The term used in the game's nomenclature for anybody affected by the expansion phenomena. The expansions themselves are simply referred to as "Mutations"
  • Shorter Means Smarter: Dr. Yui Watenabe is the head of the ship's medical team, and has confirmed by Word of God, medically qualifies as a Little Person.
  • Super-Strength: Luna, being a Muscle-themed character.
  • Used Future
