Bizarro Episode: Is this in comparison to the rest of Dave's games, being much more mature and having almost every character display an alarmingly high amount of Too Dumb to Live moments. - Canon Foreigner: The Rat King doesn't exist in Scooby-Doo, nor is there any sort of official counterpart to compare him to.
- Captain Ersatz: The group are comprised of knockoff Stylistic Suck versions of Mystery Inc.
- Gamebooks: This game is presented similar to a CYOA book, with branching paths and plenty of game overs.
- Spoofy-Doo: The cast is comprised of Captain Ersatz versions of the Scooby-Doo team, revolving around the 5 of them investigating a haunted mansion to stop the Rat King.
- Stylistic Suck: The game's "art" is all MS Paint-esque.
- The Virus: When ambushed by a rat army, you have the option to have either Scraggy or Shooby eat them. This is not recommended however, as whichever one eats the rats will become Brainwashed and Crazy and turn on the other, effectively leading to a game over.
