LEGO World Builder is a Flash Game made by LEGO. It was originally posted in LEGO's website before it was taken down.

The game is broken up into a series of levels. To complete a level, you must move the required type of unit to the "goal" space of the level, with a bonus objective for getting a different type of unit to a different space once you have achieved the goal. To do so, you construct, take apart, and reconstruct various things from vehicles to animals while dealing with mountains of LEGO bricks, LEGO terrains and LEGO creatures trying to kill you. Sounds simple enough, but then things start to get even more difficult as enemies actively trying to kill you eventually appear. There are 3 worlds in the original game, as well as an expansion including an ocean world and a prehistoric world. A sequel was later released, featuring an African-jungle-themed world followed by an urban world. The sequel can be played here (link currently broken).

Not to be confused with the more recent LEGO World Builder, which is something else entirely.

Tropes:

  • A Winner Is You: If you managed to complete all 3 worlds, you will get a certificate showing that you completed the game.
  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: One of the enemies you face is a giant scorpion lego.
  • Built with LEGO: Literally. From cars to trucks to robots to animals.
  • Forced Tutorial: A variation. You can actually skip the tutorial, but if you do you won't be able to complete the bonus of the first level.
  • The Medic: The Gas Station, the Marina, and the Robot Lab, as well as the Repairbot in the expansion. Their purpose is to recharge your units' batteries.
  • Never Smile at a Crocodile: One of your enemies are crocodiles.
  • Threatening Shark: In the Ocean World, the most dangerous enemy is the Shark.
  • Unwinnable: This can happen to a level you're playing if you're not careful with your units and got them all destroyed or used up all your batteries or plans. By then, you can only restart the level.
  • What Measure Is a Non-Cute?: The animals you use are ducks, fish, and snails while the enemies are crabs, scorpions, and crocodiles in the first game; sharks, and tyrannosaurs in the expansion, and lions in the second game.
