Vector Incremental is an HTML5 video game by Denis Berger released in 2020. It's an Idle Game in which particles are shot at a ring. After dealing enough damage, the ring is destroyed and you move on to another one which has more health and is farther away. Each shot generates Way Points which are spent on green upgrades and each ring destroyed generates Break Points which are spent on red upgrades. There are also prestige mechanics which boost power and speed.
This game provides examples of:
- Cooldown: There's an ability that lets you throw the particles at very high speed at the rings, but it has to recharge for at least 5 seconds before it's usable again.
- Critical Hit: Each hit has a 5% chance to deal more damage, with damage dealt and chance becoming upgradeable after ring 25.
- Export Save: You can export the game in a 12KB+ .txt file which is automatically put in the default folder you've chosen for downloads and imported from the file explorer.
- Guide Dang It!: Some of the upgrades are not indicative to the average player what they do from just the name/icon, and since there's no description for each one, it's all one has to go for.
- New Game Plus: You can prestige to start again from ring 1 with higher Speed or Damage. Each prestige multiplier can be increased by up to 1e6x, then you can increase the other multipliers at the cost of them dividing the lower ones (so after getting Prestige 2 for Damage, Prestige 1 for Damage will become 5e5x if it used to be 1e6x).
- One-Hit Polykill: If the particle is fast enough and deals high enough damage, it'll be able to destroy several rings in one shot.
- Shows Damage: If the Ring Effects option is on, rings become more and more cracked as they're damaged.
- Super-Speed: Not initially, but once you get far enough, those particles really start flying around fast, with them reaching more than 3e8m/s (the speed of light) by ring 140.
