Trash Quest is a Metroidvania Platform Game by Francis Vace.The crew of the Space Station Deliverance has settled into their cryopods for their long trip to Tau Ceti. Afterwards, the computer running the station does a routine diagnostics check, when it detects an unauthorized life form on board. Because it's been programmed to recognize such life forms as a potential threat to the crew, it mobilizes the station's security robots to deal with it.
The life form in question? A raccoon who's on board to sample the trash on board. That's all that matters to the raccoon, but the space station computer is now trying to kill it. Has finding food ever been so deadly before?
The game was released on April 26th, 2021.
Trash Quest contains examples of:
- Life Meter: In the top left corner of the screen. It's represented by circles next to a heart.
- Mecha-Mooks: The enemies that the raccoon's going up against are robots.
- Rascally Raccoon: The Player Character is a raccoon just looking for trash.
- Side View: How the game's viewed.
- Spikes of Doom: There are bloody spikes in the game. Touching them costs the raccoon one circle of health.
